And yeah, on a different note, we tried out last weekend that Sohotel in the Malate area and it wasn't bad at all. I loved the 'presentation' of the stuff that comes with the room

^ The Sohotel I was talking about in Malate, M.H. Del Pilar Street. It came with a bathtub and it was nice. It was around 1,500++ for 3 hours

^Malapit sa Malate Church/Plaza Rajah Sulayman (Baywalk), bout 30m. Sa likod ng Grand Boulevard Hotel (na dating Silahis Hotel) na katabi ng Aristocrat Restaurant... hindi ka na maligaw.
ang dating name nun is ANITO, na ang may-ari ay kapatid ng may-ari ng mga TIRAhan ni Aling Vicky. (King brothers) kaso nag born-again nung early 2000 ang lolo kaya pinagbebenta ang mga TIRAhan nya.

para sigurado, almost all high-end motels like yung bahay ni Aling Vicky. jacuzzi tubs na yon

basta pinaka sigurado, kung "bathtubs" man lang... since marami naman within Metro ... all "suite" rooms ng Eurotel. (sa Alabang merong Eurotel)

price range? it varies kung ilang hours kayo magtampisaw sa loob. last ko na pasok sa VC 2yrs ago, nasa 1.5k for 3hrs.
yung sa Eurotel nasa 500 lang pag may DC ka. papatak ng 2k+ pag whole day.

^thanks sa inputs napahanap kame sa las pinas area kanina we found the eurotel pero ayoko ng sogo eh and knowing na sister company to we opted for Dream Hotel na nasa likod. Infairness maganda and malinis ang room, spacious din 670 for regular room - 3hrs.

i booked the VC 1,999 in las pinas branch sa ensogo, 12hrs na, hoping na may kasamang room na may bathtub. hihi

planning to go sa VC sana one of these days makapag check in kami ng husband ko..gusto ko 24hrs tapos may whirlpool sa loob..kasya ba 2 tao sa whirlpool?

i was in astrotel cubao yesterday..overnight..ok naman, maganda yung lobby, malinis naman ang room, even the cr, may cold & hot shower at may bidet..haha.. hindi ok ang tv kasi malabo ang cable..walang kwenta manood..sakto lang ang space pero walang dining table..ang pinaka reklamo ko sa lahat ay yung aircon, hindi malamig, naka-high na pero parang fan pa rin..kaya uminit ulo ko..mas malamig pa aircon namin sa bahay..

nung nakaraan naman sa nice hotel sa mandaluyong..yun ang pinakapanget kong napasok so far..maliit ang room, as in ang sikip, pagpasok ng pinto kama na haha..yung cr din medyo ok lang at walang bidet..yung aircon hindi rin malamig..food wala ring kwenta di masarap..kaya never na ko babalik dun, it's not nice at all..

^naku, last time we were there a year ago pa. pero if they haven't changed their prices, nasa 2.5k siya pataas. or parang more than 3k ata yung sa amin e. you can call naman their number, i posted it here din. para you can ask them directly sa updated price

for the price of 2.5k and above, why with motel when you can have a hotel? I'm just curious.

my take on this kasi, unang-una pag sa hotel, check-in and check-out at strict. check-in ka 12nn, check-out ka 2pm or 12nn. while pag sa motel ka, anytime ang 24 hours mo. and 24 hours talaga siya unless you want to check-out early. sa hotel, kahit nasa standard/deluxe room ka na same price ng motel, walang jacuzzi yung iba. room lang talaga siya. sa motel, may mga theme sila (with VC and sogo executive garage rooms). sa hotel, you have to pass by the lobby, use the lift to go to the room. pag sa mga motels like VC, your room is just above your garage, privacy. depends on the preference ng tao lang siya, IMO.

Hi, i need help.. anong motel kaya ang allowed ang four persons? Me and my friends planned na mag inuman..kaso wala kaming place to stay in for 24 hours, yung may videoke sana, or kahit wala ng videoke basta pwede 4 persons, sa pasay area meron kaya? How about sogo?  Yung penthouse din sana sa rosal pasig kasi may jacuzzi and videoke na kaso i'm not sure kung pwede 4.. any suggestions po? Thanks...

VC Canley road on Pasig has a room na hanap mo. We've held a stag party for a friend of ours dun. It's got videoke and jacuzzi na din dun. I just don't know kung magkano ang rates if short time or 12hrs. Call them na lang to be sure.

^medyo mahal sya, my friend had her bridal shower din sa vc pasig, we got the room for ~5k for 5 hrs yata.
