hi mga sis. tanong lang, we will be having a training in davao pero gusto sana namin magside trip on our first and last day. possible kaya na magsamal island kami ng first day day tour 12nn ang dating ng first day sa davao city airport? we will be staying in davao city? ano bang hotel na cheap na malapit sa royal mandaya hotel? thanks thanks.

Hello. Kakauwi lang namin from Davao. The weather there is fine. We had a blast. A fantastic exprerience. Yung about sa GWD, hindi talaga pwede ipareserve. Good for backpackers lang sya kaya on the spot dapat. Friendly ang staffs at malinis. Masarap magstay.

Sis dun din ba kayo nagstay? From airport pano kaya pumunta dun? Taxi kayo? 5 kasi kami pede kaya kami isang taxi? Punta kami dun next week na..mga sis sino nagwwr dito ng basecamp? Plan kasi namin yun after magexcellerator tama ba? Hehe pano kaya kami makapgcommute if di pede taxi ang 5 pax from sa basecamp to outland adventure? Malayo ba yun? Saka mga sis anong day ba maganda magcity tour saka eden yung me mga shows like sa crocodile farms?

Does anybody know how to make a reservation for river tubing? I tried to call the numbers posted in various blogs kaso walang sumasagot. We'll be leaving for Davao next week na pero hindi pa din ok itinerary namin. Help, please. Thanks so much.

Pahelp naman po. Nagkaproblema kami sa hotel. Ano marereccomend niyo na hotel around 4k per night with good buffet breakfast near waterfront insular hotel?

^ not so near, but within the area na din ang Grand Regal Hotel. Ok naman buffet breakfast nila.

Day 1:
6am: arrival davao
breakfast near the airport: (Where?)
7am: travel to eden nature park. (Mode of transpo? We're 7 adults)
8:30am - 1045am guided tour eden nature park (First come first served ito di ba?)
11am: skyrider
12 noon: lunch. where?
1pm: to hotel check in (Hindi pa nafinalize but for sure around city center)
1-5pm: open time (I need suggestions dito. Yung mga kasama ko kasi is aattend ng convention so this is an open time for me.)
7pm dinner at jack ridge

day 2:

samal island (not yet decided kung anong resort, pwedeng Maxima Aqua Fun or Talicud Island)

day 3:
9am: crocodile park/ zorb park
12noon: Suggest where to eat for lunch
what to do 1pm onwards?
6pm to airport

And sis, may place ba sa eden park kung san pwedeng iwan yung mga gamit?
Gusto ko kasi sana diretso na dun para mahabol namin yung 8.30 am tour

Mga sis, ok lang kaya mag walk-in na lang sa mga guesthouse/hotels pagpunta namen 1st week of Oct. Wala naman sigurong event sa Davao by that time.

I was in Davao Aug 16-18. We stayed at ALU Hotel which is right in downtown. Walking distance to Marco Polo and Ateneo de Davao. Affordable price, room was okay. Basic amenities like hot and cold shower, TV, Aircon, and breakfast in the morning. They have a function hall/ open area on the 6th floor. We ate our durian in the rooftop kasi ayaw namin mangamoy sa room.

I am so impressed with the cleanliness of Davao. No side walk vendors (or maybe because it was the festival), no traffic, kung meron man sobrang saglit lang but it's okay kasi di ka naman masusuffocate sa usok. Mukhang strikto ang LTO nila, wala akong nakita na smoke belchers. Even smokersn a control nila. Hats off.

During the street dancing for the Kadayawan Festival, I was also impressed with the security measures they put up. Ang daming soldiers and police and they were strict about bringing bags.

The people are so kind and accommodating. Kahit hirap sa Tagalog, they would try to accommodate your questions like when we were asking for directions. Kaya ding icommute yung mga tourist spots. Ang layo lang talaga ng Eden Nature Park so we hired a van na lang.

Pansin ko pala yung timpla ng food sa Davao is to the sweet side. But it's okay,. Naenjoy ko pa rin yung food trip sa Davao. Sobrang affordable and they serve really fresh seafoods.

By the way, anyone flying in/out of Davao with Tiger better check your flight details.

Mas preferable ba magstay sa samal island vs talicud island? Which is better: 1. Quality ng sand? 2. Prices ng food? Thanks!

medyo bitin yung recent trip namin to Davao..but thanks to kuya Joey...nakalibot naman kami sa Samal Island and Eden Nature Park and other tourist spots in Davao City with our 2 full days stay, it was really 4 days but na-consume ng late/early flight yung first and last day namin.our first night we stayed sa Royale Guesthouse and 2nd night sa My Hotel...both are ok  naman di ko lang gusto yung amoy ng lobby ng Royale.Di namin pinalagpas  yung Glamour Crab Buffet, super sulit sa crabs although konti lang spread. For our 2nd night we checked Chippens, Nanay Bebeng and Zabs....mas naging like namin ang buffet spread ng Zabs kaya dun kami nag-dinner.For durian candies try din ninyo yung  Apo ni Lola i specifically liked their creamy bars, its along the same street ni Lola Abon...pm me lang about sa numbers ni kuya joey...super recommended namin siya...he is also planning to equipped his taxi with wi-fi nakita niya yung pocket wifi na dala ng friend ko and he seems really interested

Recommended ko ang Apo ni Lola, Nanay Bebeng,. Saluhan Buffet and Jack's Ridge.
Malayo yung mga tourist spots sa Davao, kailangan talaga ng sasakyan. Like yung Eden Nature Park. Allot half day for this. Travel time is 1hour papunta, another 1 hour pabalik.
Okay rin yung Japanese tunnel kaso 50 pesos yung Entrance.

I don't know pero di ako msyadong natuwa sa Eagle Center. Crocodile Park is good. Kayang icommute and I think worth it yun basta maabutan niyo yung cultural show.

ang pangarap ko na bumalik sa davao ay matutupad na pero next year pa! july 30 to august 3, 2014 kame andun ni hubby with kapitbahay hehe. sana makatipid kame since may matitirhan naman kame. hindi ko lang sure kung ipapasyal din nila kame o bahala kame sa buhay namin dun hahaha!

ano kaya ang maganda pang puntahan o gawin since nagawa na namin ito:
- samal inland tour (hagimit falls, bat cave, pearl farm overnight stay)
- crocodile park
- philippine eagle sanctuary
- davao city tour

ok ba puntahan ito:
- Matsuo Village / Philippine-Japan Museum
- Japanese Tunnel
- Seawall Times Beach
- Museo Dabawenyo
- Jack’s Ridge
- Camb Sambros
- White Water Rafting (kaso scared ako)

Yung sa water rafting, whole day yun. 9am to 4pm
Di ko natry yun sis but if I was given more time in Davao, magwater rafting ako.

Japanese tunnel is okay. Kung mahilig ka sa history, maappreciate mo yun. kaso don't expect it to be long and/ or full of artifacts. You'll be spending 50 pesos entrance fee for a 10 minute tour.

Jack's Ridge is a must see.
