saktong nasa Davao din ako nun. napa-byahe ako ng GenSan at bumili ng 5k na ticket para lang makauwi. masaklap!!

we stayed at Park Inn by Radisson Davao last June 1-4. The hotel is new and interconnected with the newest mall in the city - SM Lanang Premier.

napaka-convenient ng location. malapit sa airport, connected sa mall, at short drive lang to Marina wharf (for our Pearl Farm plan on the next day).

the best part: wala sya sa downtown kaya less ang traffic, and most of all - hindi binaha yung area nung biglang umulan!

Will be travelling to Davao Province to visit family. And i'm staying overnight in a hotel in Davao City bago ako bumalik ng Manila. I considered Seda and Radisson since they are the new hotels and attached sa malls. But I eventually decided to book sa Hotel Tropika based on reviews I read both sa Tripadvisor and sa Agoda. Me resort feel daw kasi ang lugar, maliit lang and tahimik since it's off the highway. And it's also near na din to the airport, Abreeza, SM Lanang, etc. I prefer din kasi smaller/boutique hotels para di masyadong crowded.

If there are Davao-based peeps here, what are the new mala"hole in the wall" restos jan now that you can recommend - yung parang Bon Appetit or Swiss Deli? I hope to try new restos pag anjan ako. TIA.

I will be in Davao this Oct for 3d/2n. Parang bitin pala yun nabook ko kasi parang 2 whole days in Davao lang. Plan ko lang is to go to PF and food trip lang siguro kasi mahirap to go around kun may elder na kasama. Backread muna ko.

We also had 2 elders with us when we sent to Davao. What we did is to hire a van for the whole day. We were able to go to a number of places without much hassle.

medyo bitin yung recent trip namin to Davao..but thanks to kuya Joey...nakalibot naman kami sa Samal Island and Eden Nature Park and other tourist spots in Davao City with our 2 full days stay, it was really 4 days but na-consume ng late/early flight yung first and last day namin.our first night we stayed sa Royale Guesthouse and 2nd night sa My Hotel...both are ok  naman di ko lang gusto yung amoy ng lobby ng Royale.Di namin pinalagpas  yung Glamour Crab Buffet, super sulit sa crabs although konti lang spread. For our 2nd night we checked Chippens, Nanay Bebeng and Zabs....mas naging like namin ang buffet spread ng Zabs kaya dun kami nag-dinner.For durian candies try din ninyo yung  Apo ni Lola i specifically liked their creamy bars, its along the same street ni Lola Abon...pm me lang about sa numbers ni kuya joey...super recommended namin siya...he is also planning to equipped his taxi with wi-fi nakita niya yung pocket wifi na dala ng friend ko and he seems really interested

Di pala pede ipareserve yung 188 ng GWD , ano bang malapit na hotel na mura lang dun? Just in case na fully book sila? Malapit ba yung myhotel dun? D ako sure pero sila ba yung my 250/ room? Thanks

Hello. Kakauwi lang namin from Davao. The weather there is fine. We had a blast. A fantastic exprerience. Yung about sa GWD, hindi talaga pwede ipareserve. Good for backpackers lang sya kaya on the spot dapat. Friendly ang staffs at malinis. Masarap magstay.

Hi.. I will be in Davao on Aug 16- 18.

Eto ang initial itinerary namin.

Day 1: Eden park, eagle park, crocodile park, etc.
Day 2: Samal Island
Day 3: City tour

Kaso that's also the weekend of Kadayawan festival. Sobrang dami ba ng tao by that time, like Baguio's Panagbenga?

Day 2 is Saturday which is also Indak Indak sa Kadalanan. Now I'm confused. Di ko alam if we will watch the festival or what.
