Davao City and Samal Island thread 8

@kenoy, sis parang wala matambayan sa davao airport sa arrival area. May 4 seats lang dun na naka-prop sa wall near sa conveyor ng luggage area.

may kainan sa departure area sa loob ng davao airport.

meron ding mga eatery/carinderia sa labas ng airport pero di na kayo lalabas ng gate. dun kami tumambay last year habang nagiintay ng kasama naming paparating.

Hi mga sis, ask ko lang, if 7am ang dating namin sa Davao and derecho kami sa Pearl Farm, aabot kaya kami sa byahe? I mean, possible ba yun? TIA!

Hi girls, i have an upcoming trip to Davao this Feb 6, arriving 6am, leaving 9pm on Feb 9. I'll be with myu friends and we are on a budget as usual  . Im thinking of going to Samal island, island hop and might as well do a city tour. Whats the best itinerary can you suggest?

D1: Do i go diretso sa Samal island on day 1, island hop and stay overnight or balik sa city? (if overnight stay sa red parrot, if not stay sa royal house)

* i read somewhere here na pwede mag intro dive + island hopping na for less than 1k each, tama ba ako? baka mas ok kaya yun?

Day 2: White water rafting & zipline - i read somewhere here na may package na to, san na nag ulit yun?

D3: City tour - (ask Manong Lory or Joey. May mga entrance fees pa bang binabayaran aside from the 2,500 na tour nila?)

Help!

yep sis may mga babayaran pang entrance fees ranging from 50-150 per spot per person (except people's park, sul garden)

just got back from Davao.  nag-enjoy kaming lahat! 

our tour guide Kuya Joey was helpful and kind. siya pa ang naghanap ng rental boat para makapag-Samal Island hopping kami noong Saturday. Nasulit namin ang 3 days stay!

Hi po! Pwede po pa-share ng itinerary nyo? 4 din kase kami na pupunta dun and 3 days din. Pati expenses po. Thanks!

hi im frm davao, why dont you try pearl farm or kaputian or maxima sa samal? Ang paradise now di na masyado maganda. Its good na may thread na ganito kasi may mga hindi pa din ako napupuntahan na mga places dito sa davao haha! It helps..

sa mga victims ng taxi manloloko, advice ko po, yung maligaya, sukran o orange taxi kayo sasakay.. Mababait po drivers pero ang holiday taxi may na encounter akong mandurugas at walang modo! Pinipili ang passenger, e bawal yun. Tas yung iba paikot ikutin ka pa bago makarating.

Hi mga sis! Going to Davao on July, nagpaquote ako ng package for 5 sobrang mahal ng packages ni offered almost lahat 8k plus. Better ba packaged tour or DIY in Davao?

Hi mga sis, ask ko lang sino ang nakapunta recently sa pearl farm. I called pearl farm manila office this morning and they advised me na under renovation daw some parts of PF, ask ko lang kung worth it ba na mag daytour pa kami dun kahit on-going ang renovation.. Maraming parts na binanggit yung receiver ko ng call kanina, baka masayang yung tour kung halos construction yung makikita namin, even yung infinity pool din, hindi din daw pwedeng gamitin.

^ sis, I think postpone mo na muna pagpunta sa PF. Hindi sulit ang day tour lalo na maraming under construction... Malamang hindi nyo ma-enjoy tour nyo, Hanap na lang ng ibang mappuntahan. Sayang naman ang bayad.

what do you mean aabot sa byahe? papuntang Pearl Farm? You can schedule your boat trip if you booked a tour. Also, almost whole day naman yung boat trips going to Pearl Farm.

hayssst. sa first week na davao namin, wala pa rin kaming masamahang group for water rafting. kinontact ko yung sa water tubbing, hindi naman nagreply na.

Day 1: Arriving in Davao around 6am - Go directly to Red Parrot Inn  - Do island hopping - stay overnight

day 2: ikot around Samal or go back to the city for whitewater rafting? (what time pala ang pabalik ng city?) overnight royal house

Day 3: City - maybe crocodile farm, zip city, butterfly tapos pasalubong.
 then back to manila
