What may be nice for you sa iba hindi. And we have to admit, talaga namang love your own tayo kung ano yung naisip natin or type natin automatic yun na yung maganda hehe

Agree with sis lippiequeen. We have our own preferences and wants for our wedding. I attended a wedding where they have prenup videos with acting and stuffs, I love the couple and know their story so I came to love their video. But I don't want these production numbers and acting stuffs on our wedding kasi hindi na kami yun. Nagwork sa kanila yung prenup video because its a showcase of who they are as a couple.

I still stand on my opinion about that -- Not to overly exaggerate to the point it will create humiliation perception about you among people/guest who would watch the video.. Now kung game kayo pagtawanan ng mga tao (as their reactions or feedback) then there's nothing wrong about it. good if they appreciate pero kung may negative feedback -- eh wag pikon di ba!  ;) wag sensitive kung masabihan kayong OA or baduy. I admire nga couple who could you know laugh about the experience even if it's negative at masasabi kong isa na kami dun. nung ginawa namin yung mala Pangako Sayo scene sa dance floor until now kami mag asawa pati mga kaibigan namin we are laughing on why we agreed on doing it! Eww na ang feeling pagkatapos. kaya we decided to remove it sa video nalang kasi masyadong sensual at mapapanuod ng mga anak namin.  :P

Kasalanan eto ng mga artistang nagpapakasal ayan tuloy ordinary people wanted to imitate them kahit Aminin natin -- madalas hindi bagay! :D Basta Keep it simple but still fun girls. If you're ideas of fun are "extreme" then again its fine.. wag lang masyadong balat sibuyas kung meron ibang pananaw ang ibang tao sainyo - it's part of it. include the negative feedback still a fun part to remember about your wedding.

key take away here is balance
kahit na Kanya Kanya trip, too much is still too much
and remember, someone will always have something to say about your wedding
just don't take your guests for granted and maka the necessary preparations para di ma label as worst wedding

As in act kung act. Some of you baka sya ang videographer. tee hee!.  ;D

minsan din kasi, kailangan ng iba ang "wake-up call". prepping a wedding to be bongga or to please too many people kung minsan ay sumosobra na. if you are really close with the couple or if the bride seeks your advice from time to time, baka pwede nyo bigyan ng gentle reminder na "girl, kasal yung event mo hindi MMFF.." just to serve as taga balanse ng friends nyong couples. sometimes sa excitement, nawawala na yung logic and other considerations. :) nasa way ng pagsasabi lang yan. at sa degree ng closeness nyo. sa group ko, ako pa lang ang ikakasal talaga. wala ako makausap at wala makarelate sa akin. ayoko rin sila ibombard sila ng mga ideas ko kasi nakakahiya, feeling ko minsan ang babaw ng concerns ko kumpara sa kanila. but minsan i try to check if my feet are still on the ground by asking their honest opinions. but at the end of the day, ako masusunod. araw ko yun e. iba naman yung todo asa or paapekto sa comments ng iba (sample: none of my friends bet yung cheri handicrafts but tuloy pa rin ako kasi gusto ko).

^ Sis hermione28, I beg to disagree that it's bullying -- for me its what you called "feedback". Given it's negative but it's the main reason on why we created forums or threads like this to know other people's perception regarding their wedding experiences they've attended. In that way, we know if those gimmicks we want in our own wedding will be something memorable or something ridiculous. Now if you want to push through what you want to your wedding eh bakit magiging balat sibuyas kung masabihan na OA or baduy? eh you want to do it di ba!  :D you didn't do it for anybody else. Masasaktan ka lang if you think you could have done it other way or the very least, hindi niyo nalang sana ginawa. Otherwise, keber!  ;) hindi mo naman mako control sasabihin/reactions ng ibang tao pero kung may sensitive side ang bride/groom better not to do gimmicks at all na hindi natural sainyo -- kasi lalabas at labas din yan sa end product niyo.

.. and it's good to have guests that you know well..be sure to invite the right people on your wedding coz sometimes, yung mga hindi mo kaclose sila pa yung madaming comment. :) & I agree, no matter how much time you've sacrificed preparing for your wedding, madami ka pa din maririnig.. kahit pinakain mo na and all.

nakita ko kung sino talaga true friend ko dahil sa wedding ko. oo wala sila car, mahirap transpo napagastos ng taxi damit gift for us.pero after my wedding a friend told me grabe daw wedding ko nagutom daw sila dahil ang traffic. pero dami naman food nung kasal namin problema lang talaga natraffic sila. actually since medyo malayo sila sabi nila 11 palang kumain na sila sa van nagtakeout ng burger para makadating sa wedding ko. tapos mga 6 na sila nakapag cocktails. inisip ko nalang di sya sanay sa ganon kasal. sya lang kasi naringgan ko ng reklamo yung 2 kasama nya di naman nagreklamo hehe

Hindi pako masyado nakakapanood ng mga prenup videos na maraming acting pero dati may napanood ako sa rebellious brides ata or sa kung ano mang wedding blog site, ang tawag prenup video nila ay "love story" video ang ganda panoorin and ang light walang masyadong acting, parang makikilala mo yung couple, i believe cinemaworks ata yung videographer.

Thank you Chili1113 I saw na the MTV wedding hehe!! I am not in any way 'bullying' here I am reacting lang okay, everyone has their own opinion and it's inevitable that we will differ in some way or another. :) As for me, i believe in balance and I do only comment on weddings I go to (both in positive and negative ways) because I am being extra-observant while prepping for our wedding.

The MTV was waaay over the top hehe pricey pala yung videographer bakit sobrang sablay yung pagkalipsynch. Didnt they shoot enough times to ensure they got enough footage that's usable aka match yung mouth sa lyrics?! And that's only 2 years ago so parang ang recent lang, id expect they were good already then.

Agree that do whatever floats you boat as long as it is YOU and that it does not negatively impact your guests. :)

^Sis if i am not mistaken yung video na eto is parang marian-dingdong STD ang dating. Napanuod ko din yata yan. A batchmate way back in HS posted it on Fb. I think friend/couturier nya si bride (fashion designer si batchmate).

The reason why you should only invite people who would love and will be happy to see you together.

One wedding, some of the table cloth in the reception has cigarette holes and then some foam in the chairs are dirty.

And then another wedding after magkainan nawala ang guests!

Both situations were rushed weddings.

^mga kamag-anaks yan sis, hit and run lang. Despite that happy naman a ng couple.

Not naman worst pero there are apparently people who won't go to a wedding simply because not all their friends are invited to it...(which is actually fine, it weeds out the people who dont really care about the couple & the couple has less mouths to feed--win win i think).

Also there are actually immediate relatives who will choose not to go to a wedding because out of town sya and though they have the means to go, tinatamad daw sila kasi malayo. They will only go pala to weddings pag Manila lang, kahit na relative's wedding. Another case of weeding out people only this time, ouch kasi relative yun na walang pake hehe.

^Oo nga sis ano. Naiisip ko kasi yan kasi some of my hs friends may ugali na pag may invite to an event magtatanungan muna "Pupunta ka?" I guess that's a good thing nga din.
