Nahurt lang ako kasi I have been working in the BPO industry for the past 5 years and have friends and co-workers na anti-kabit, married or not, most of the people I have encountered are moral and have the same stand with us, legal wives.

^hi sis, ako nag post nun :) And I'm a proud call center agent, dahil sa work na ito I could buy my family needs and wants. Super ANTI KABIT din ako, ang point ko lang sa industry natin sobrang talamak talaga, been in 3 centers ganun talaga ang mga nakikita ko, as in ni hindi man Lang maging DISCREET or whatnot ;) I'm a Registered Nurse din kasi and nakapag practice ako sa hospital, sa stay ko sa hospital work ko hindi naman ako nakikita ng ganun, na tipong all of the people sa floor eh alam na may asawa't anak sila eh kung maglandian sa pantry parang walang tao at wala ng bukas :) Sorry sis kung na offend ka sa posts ko, POV lang yung sa akin and FACTS, Kung sa centers niyo walang ganyang issues good for you guys :)

Tama kayo Sisses, wrong spelling wrong nga. WRONG DOINGS pa diba?

@sis najine

If you think hindi buong PAMILYA ang nasisira sa pangangabit well opinyon mo yun. Kaya nga tinawag na PAMILYA kasi we are talking about ONE unit na binubuo ng nanay, tatay at anak.

Hindi naman natin masisi ang mom mo kung she will go on with her life kasi nga you said yourself that your dad went to another woman.

Ikaw na mismo sis ang may sabi, "you were left without a family of your own", "you were in pain", "you are deeply traumatized", "you are bearing pain".

So why should a kabit deserve my respect and consideration?

P.S.
May mga kabits and ex-kabits (KABIT threads) who shared their experiences. Pinagsisihan nila ang mga nangyari and we welcome them sa thread. I accepted them kasi NAG-SISI sila and ayaw na nila mangyari na maging kabit sila ulit.

Still, thank you for sharing your POV. I want my niece to have a positive view in life, i dont want her to develop a grudge against her parents. I dont want her to see herself as a victim at sabihin niya na siya ang naapektohan sa lahat. Like what i've said "lahat naapektohan, lahat ay nasaktan".

Yes, good thing she has me. But im more lucky to have her.

P.S.S.
@sis jesrora
Kaloka!

P.S.S.
@swtgrl_bee

>> Lucky for those who didn’t experienced what other people gone through but the lesson it taught no matter how painful & traumatic and the person you have become after the incident is very essential right? Its easy to give out annotations if you don’t have an on hand experience to back it up. As the cliché goes, Don’t judge a book by its cover.

yes i dont bear the pain of one who experienced it all.. but maybe, just maybe, that's the reason why i can think rationally because i'm not biased and there's no emotional factor involved.
as the saying goes ..  "it is difficult to see the picture when you're inside the frame"

let me share this.. my sister had a relationship with a married man UNKNOWINGLY.. sino ba naman dito nagrerequire ng CENOMAR kapag sasagutin ang suitor? they have sex. she got pregnant. nung umuwi dito sa phils, saka niya nalaman na may asawa.. he left left him.same day nung nalaman niya because that's the right thing to do.. it's as simple as that

kinakahiya ko ba siya? no. do i condemn her? i commend her for what she did actually. because its the ACTION she took after knowing that matters ..

>>Tama hinala ko sis wala kang experience sa kabit kabit based on your wordings na din.   Anyway, YES my magbabago dahil pagnaintindihan mo sila malalaman mo what went wrong, what happened and stuff like that then by their makakapag advice ka ng tama sa tao w/o critizing her wrong acts and who knows one less kabit in the world. Little by little hanggang sa tuluyang mawala at wala ng masisirang pamilya sa mundo.

i really dont get it.. i want to understand your POV for the sake of an interesting discussion..
are you refering to FAILED MARRIAGES? because you mentioned "wala ng pamilyang masisira. "

Failed Marriages, and Mistresses are two closely knit but VERY DIFFERENT topics. kailangan inintindihin talaga the reason why a marriage failed..

ang pinaguusapan kasi  "pangangabit" at "kabit" ... kailangan sila intindihin para wala ng pamilyang masira? where do they fit in the formula?

what i am referring to as "wala ng sense intindihin kasi wala din naman mangyayari " is the kabit's reason para pumatol KNOWING may sabit na nga yung person na yun. keso inlove, kesyo ganito ganyan..  even if people knew about their reason(THE KABIT's REASON ha) wala na din mangyayari. mali pa rin ang pangangabit kahit paano pa ito isugarcoat

OT My views maybe different but in my line of profession it is a must to understand each individual & what they're going through to give better advice na rin. Not all naman can afford a Professional Counselor di ba? but everybody can be a friend indeed.  :)

i object your honor! ;D
mostly, marital problems are not resolved by professionals (if you are referring to the likes of Margie Holmes).

by the way, sino sa inyo sumusubaybay dito sa telenovela nina Aleli and Grace?

lesson learned:

Yung story kase about Jose. Shempre its a publicity na rin kay Jose. sabi nga, Good or Bad man. A publicity is still a publicity. kaya malamang kikita concert nya. Its actually an old issue na that left unresolved.  :)

Marital problems and professional counselors.  Very interesting topic.

Counselors base their counsel on the bible, on their academic training that typically include a lot of readings on research on the dynamics of relationships, on what is legal, etc.  They have full knowledge of the concepts that can help heal the two hurting people who are undergoing marital problems.  They can identify exactly what is going wrong, and, they can tell the two hurting people which ones could work  to solve the marital problem.

But bottomline, it will depend on the two hurting people if they will heed the advice, and, work what they are told - and what they learn - into their marriage and love relationship.

More often than not, at some point, the counselor may end up having to identify who is doing things wrong, and that could become the "stumbling block" of the couple.  Adults generally do not like to be told that they have erred - even when they themselves do know they DID err.  Most of the time their subsequent actions after the first "error" are actually "defensive" moves, to prove to themselves - and to strengthen their belief - that they have not erred at all.  Many times they would show the hurt party - or even tell the hurt party quite frankly - that they (the hurt party) is to blame e.g. you made me do it, you failed to do such and such so I looked for it elsewhere, I could not help it andudun siya eh lapit ng lapit, ikaw kasi lagi mo ako inaaway, etc. etc.  The initial hurt gets multiplied, as the hurt party later on comes to believe that they are indeed to blame and then, they engage in self-introspection and self-examination e.g. ano ang naging pagkukulang ko, ano ang puede kong gawin para mahinto na ang lahat ng ito, hindi ko na kaya mas mabuti pa yata mag-give up na lang, etc. etc.

Many of you probably have heard of ANDRAGOGY - how to teach adults so they imbibe what they are taught.  Adults LIKE to first see proof that what is suggested to them actually works.  If they hear  other people - who have tried what was suggested - say that it worked on them (nagpapatotoo) then their (the ones who need to learn) interest gets picqued, and they start considering trying out what was suggested.  But change is quite difficult to effect among adults, who in all probability have long-ingrained habits, attitudes, etc.  So, the pagpapatotoo has to keep on continuing.

Marriage healing programs have that formula.  The program is run by "wounded healers" who themselves had undergone the program, learned and applied into their life the concepts and the tools to bring their hurting relationship to forgiveness and healing, and, achieved changes and improvements in their relationship.  The forgiveness part is crucial in the process, since forgiving means one decides to let go of the negative feelings and the desire to wreak vengeance on the person who has erred or committed the deed that resulted to a hurt.

But then again, bottomline, it will STILL depend on the the marriage healing program participants if they will decide to "replicate" the tools and realizations the wounded healers share about, and, work what they are told - and what they learn - into their marriage and love relationship.

When my husband and I did one marriage healing program, and heard those "wounded healers" share their stories and talk of the tools and realizations they worked into their marriage and love relationship, we eventually came to an agreement that
- we did DESIRE to heal our hurting marriage and love relationship
- we DISCUSSED which tools and realizations we were willing to try, and which issues and concerns we were willing to address
-  we DECIDED to work the tools and realizations, on the issues and concerns present in our relationship
-  we DID what the tools and realizations called for, and one major one is for each of us to CHANGE
and so here we are now, continuing to walk the road of forgiveness, making amends and healing - with our children walking along with us.

All the best and God bless,
Mommy Fe

i got to watch jody sta. maria and nikki valdez on  kris tv earlier today.. very nice yung answer nila kay kris.. here's how i remembered it...

kris to jody -  are you ready for a new love?

jody - huwag po muna.. kailangan tapusin muna lahat para maaayos (she's referring to her annulment)

kris to nikki - how about you?

(her annulment is not yet finished too)

Thanks mommy fe on your words about healing marriages.

I've been your follower the first time i read your post. You never cease to amaze me with your positive outlook in life.

Continue to always guide us mommy fe.

God Bless!

P.S.
The first time I heard about Jose's issue is I think sa The Buzz, yung wife niya yung nag admit na may other woman si Jose, how it started and everything, the last time they saw each other, the last text etc. She was crying pero not because she was angry, it's more of yung iyak ng isang tao na iniwanan ng isang taong mahal na mahal niya. I remember she said "sana hindi nalang siya naging artista para hindi kami nagkaroon ng ganitong problema", "masaya pa kami dati kasi simple lang ang buhay".

And yung huli niyang sinabi sa sobrang mahal niya kay jose is parang "i am willing to forgive and forget everything kung babalik siya, kasi mahal na mahal ko siya".

Correct me if im wrong, he left his wife to a young dancer daw ba? Dancer ba ng EB? Im not sure about this.

i have been in this situation. i'm not yet healed but life is getting better for us/me.

pero ito lang masasabi ko. think about this before getting married, if you cannot commit, if you cannot see yourself growing old with this person. if you cannot resist temptation when opportunity arises. or when you are in a rough time then don't get married.

ito lang yun. talk about your problems first, confront your other half bago ka maghanap ng iba.

nasa babae talaga if she wants her marriage to last. like me, more than 3 times nagkaron ng kabit asawa ko, pero im still here for him. oo t**** ko, kase mahal ko eh. pero kung ginamit ko utak ko kahit mahal ko dapat iniwan ko na nung una pa lang.
