Recommend a good band, singer, etc for reception (Part 2)

natuwa naman kase talaga ko dun sa forevermore song na naka post sa fb page nila. gusto ko ng ganun na boses ng lalake! hehe.. only to find out, hindi pala siya kasali sa band. friend pala ng couple. toinks! feeling ko Team C or D na iyun eh' kase may team pro passion akong nakita din, okay din yung lalake dun, pero booked na din daw.

Kame naman madz&dheiz,then we changed our wedding date so biglang di na pede sina madz so naghanap ulit kame and we found totally mesmerized and naamazed talaga ako sa kanila kahit di na sila ganon kabata..as in naramdaman ko yung this is it.😀

has anyone compared the setup cost for a full band vs a dj? Just wondering... I assume the dj setup is much cheaper than a band setup.

@ece: thats Kell Gatdula. Southborder vocalist yun ngayon sis. I booked infinite soul because of him too. Pati yung The Way you loo at me na version nya maganda. Sabi ko kay monica, i want him as the male vocalist. Nakalagay din sa contract ko.

D namin matyemouhan yung gig nila sa robinsons tagaytay. Nabasa ko dati meron silang gig pag weekend. Kaso nawala kasi dumami ang wedding nila. hehe

I added pa just to get the guy. Very particular kasi ako sa vocalist sis, nung narinig ko si kel, i instantly want him to sing in our wedding. So nagbook agad ako. Tapos ayun nga di pala sya part ng infinite soul so i added pa just to get him.

One year ahead ng wedding, nagpabook na kami sa kanila. Kasi ganun nga ang mahirap, may gusto kang supplier kaso hindi na sila available.

Just got lights and sounds quotations from several suppliers. I thought at first that a band setup is so much more expensive than a Dj setup. Apparently not. A basic band setup costs about 10-13k, while a dj setup is about 8-10k.

So I guess in the end it will just be just a matter of preference whether we get a band or dj, especially since good djs have about the same pf as a band.

sis Chili1113, think what kind of mood ang gusto mo for the reception, if you want classical, habang dinner, tapos party after programme, maybe getting a dj is the best option. di ko din alam actually. naisip ko lang. hehe..

samin kase, we prefer to get a band, outdoor reception kame, tapos feeling ko pag acoustics, 'chill chill' lang na simpleng gathering lang ang meron. ito ay sa palagay ko lang ha.

Naku sayang magaling pa naman si Monica of Infinite Soul, magaling din sister nya mataas boses and maganda rin. Kelan ba wedding day mo and saan ang venue? Baka hindi Tagaytay venue mo kaya ganyan kamahal. Ang alam ko kasi may out of town charges sila kapag outside QC na since Tagaytay/Manila based sila. Magaling nga yung Kell Gatdula na singer ng Infinite Soul, pero alam ko nga South Border member na sya ngayon follower kasi ako haha! Ask ka na lang ng iba pang videos ng team nila then kapag wala talaga hingi ka suggestions kay Monica, mabait naman sila medyo busy lang sila. Or mas ok if pupunta ka this coming June 20-21 sa Themes and Motifs na bridal fair, maraming bands ka makikita dun makakamura ka pa.

Regarding bridal fair sis, if only i could, i would talaga! Baka lahat ng fairs pa present ako. Hahahaha! Kaya lang overseas ako, kaya thru emails, fb ko lang nakakausap suppliers.

hello sis berryprincessy! madami sila teams actually, but their team A is yung Team ni Ms. Monica, I like her voice. Team B ata sila propassion. okay din yung voice nung lalake dun. for us, they offered Team Ching na, though maganda yung voice ni ching, sister ni monica, kaya lang wala silang male vocalist. pero sabi ni Monica, magkakaroon ata sila ng audition for another bands this coming August. kung gusto mo sila, you can wait sis.
