Recommend a good band, singer, etc for reception (Part 2)

Thanks cheezums, when i asked the singer nga kung violin or sax, mas maganda daw ang sax and marunong din daw mg flute yung sax player nila. [textspeak!] di na ako mag woworry, i think i made a good choice naman with the band

^Yup you did Maraming may gusto sa kanila. I want to book them din kaso namamahalan ako sa rate, medyo mas mataas sa budget namin. Ang dami nila sa band and ok na sana sakin kahit 2 pc band lang as long as may sax hahaha! If I can get away w/ solo sax nga pwede na sakin eh, kaso ayaw ni fiance panget daw. And di ko din need ng vocalist. Kaso Intimate Soul does not want to may bawas sa members dahil kawawawa naman daw mawawalan ng gig, and I totally understand. So naghahanap pa din ako ng similar to them na cheaper Pero you made a good choice sa kanila.

Last June I attended a wedding, galing grabe Prince Valencia I just don't know how much ang rates niya. Funny pa kasi we saw him play at Resorts World.

For bands naman, magaling yung The Sentimental Groove. Pero 20k ata ang rates nila.

I really like 3rd avenue band, kaso lang, aaaaangggg taaaagaaaal mag reply!!! When I asked their rates, ang bilis ng reply, email and sms. but when i said that i want to book them already, hindi na nagrereply. I'm getting frustrated na! I really want them for our wedding!

Hello sisters! I have a question. Kung maghire ba ng band, kelangan rin na maghire ng lights and sounds? Hindi ba kakayanin ng basic sound system? TIA

A basic sound system is only good for PA system, speeches playbacks. You need to ask the band what equipment they need, it might compromise the way they sound. A full sound system takes into account the size of the venue and number of attendees para maganda over all acoustics. Nag invest ka narin on a band sis wag ka magtipid sa soundsystem kundi masasayang lang band mo.

Parang kumbaga gumastos ka sa band tapos pang wow magic sing lang sound system nila.

Im also looking for a band for my wedding? We prefer someone who's into Reggae (my fiance is into it) and RnB (i love RnB music) at the same. Ms. Keljean, I googled the number you indicated, but when I saw the vocalist's fb, she's pregnant pala (picture is dated August 23 so its a latest pic).
My lights and sounds supplier recommended the band from tagaytay called Infinite Soul Acoustic. We just need to see them live first before booking.
