Recommend a good band, singer, etc for reception (Part 2)

Pinapili ka pa ba ng package ng Jamsy? Wala kasi ako talagang idea sa packages ng lights and sounds and sa mga bands. Although marami kaming referrals and suggestions  na natatanggap, mas gusto pa rin namin na malaman muna mga technical infos about lights and sounds para hindi kami madala sa mga promos lang sa fairs, may negative experience kasi isang friend ko sa isang L/S na sobrang daming freebies binigay sa kanila, pero hindi pala ok. Sa band naman, ill let my cousin do the help on scouting thru bridal fairs. Mauuna naman sila sa'min.

^ nope sis. may default package na sila for that especially sa band equipments. if youre going to add yung lang yung may extra. ang pinaadd ko lang mga lights and spotlights sa venue better look for a band first then ask them re requirements and probably ask for recommendation. mas maganda if yung band and L/S nakawork together na

Will do, thanks for some helpful suggestions. I got your point regarding bands and lights and sounds working together. At least sa band na lang din ako magtatanong if ok magtrabaho ang L/S. I'll try to check those bands muna for my reception na maganda feedback dito and their sample videos on youtube muna , will also check also some strings for my ceremony, I saw some great feedbacks on Libante Strings, Velvet mood musicale sa strings, unahin ko muna strings mukhang mas madaling mamili. Sa bands naman, ask ko muna fiance ko. Thanks mga sisses.

Here's our update for our musicians. We already booked the Libante Strings for ceremony and Infinite Soul Acoustic for our reception cocktails to after party jammings. They referred JS Mina as Lights and sounds,will check some reviews first but will surely book them this week also.

Infinite Soul Acoustic bride here. The band was very great and may hangover pa kami sa bridal march at couple's dance namin! Di ako nagsisi na sila kinuha ko, lahat ng guests namin akala CD lang ang couple's dance namin, hindi ko rin makita page nila dito kaya sa page na lang nila sa facebook kami gagawa ng feedbacks about them. Even our Australian guests naappreciate mga OPM songs na tinugtog nila. Was able to get discounts from them and sulit na sulit talaga from church to after party songs ok na ok sila. May ilang songs silang hindi nakanta kasi a day before ko lang nasend final list of songs namin so ok lang, indemand nga sila nitong december kaya hindi na rin ako nagexpect na maaaral nila lahat ng songs na binigay ko and magaling mga renditions nila ng mga OPM music.

totally mesmerized  promise, sobrang ganda ng boses nila. From our Church to our Reception. akala nga ng hubby ko dvd yung nagp-play during our reception dinner, kasi kaboses ng original na singer. sabi ko sila yun! mga guests namin nagustuhan rin sila and my friend even hired them on her own wedding! affordable din sila.

you won't go wrong with Muzikqlass. I got them for my dads 50th bday party yesterday. The guests had so much fun and they were kind enough to extend their hours of services kasi nageenjoy Talaga yung mga matatandang guests. I'll try to share some videos once na turnover na nung videographer.

I also got Infinite Soul Acoustic on our wedding last Nov. Akala din namin CD lang nagpaplay during our entourage until after party. May mga request din at biglaang jammers na nakisali sa kanila but still they were able to play those songs agad. Ang lamig ng mga boses ng mga singers and they can also do some upbeat music na 80's to present. Kukunin ulit namin sila sa wedding ng brother ko this year, this coming April. Nakuha namin sila ng discounted kahit tapos na promo nila before.

Your welcome sis. I'm so happy kasi di ako napahiya sa dad ko by getting them. He's partial kasi to this band na oldies yung lead singers unlike sa Muzikqlass na bagets pa. He feels na siyempre mas maganda kung matatanda yung lead singers since kapanahunan nila yung kakantahen.

I also learned that they were the entertainment din pala at Shamcey and Lloyd's wedding recently. They must be really good since Christine Ong-Te got them.

I am looking for an acoustic variety band for my Jan 2015 wedding at Taal Vista Hotel. Is there any website or contact details of Infinite Soul Acoustic? Can they also perform  80's danceable music, bossa nova and reggae?

Im also looking for a lights and sounds provider, HMUA and an emcee. Hope you could help.

Andami ko nabasa na mga magagaling nakakalito kung sino kukunin ko haha.

anyway, i am looking for a band na parang sessionista in ASAP style lang ang peg.... pwde kumanta ng upbeat songs pero not a show band na maingay.... tamang chill and steady lang ang music tipong maiinlove lang mga guests hehe...

any recommendations???

I booked the Infinite Soul Acoustic , packaged with their tie-up sound system JS Mina which are both tagaytay-based at the Getting Married fair after we watched their performance and nagalingan pati mga brothers at mom in law na kasama ko so we initially paid the DP on their booth. I suugest to to watch bands muna sa mga fairs or on Youtube, marami namang choices talaga pero its up to your taste and preference. Happy preps mga sisses

Fabsolacetine may i ask how much kuha mo sa package with js mina? Kasi may nabook nako L/S pro baka mas mura si JS mina kasi wala ata oot fee pag tagaytay.

For JS Mina, Kinuha ko Package C nila sis kasi 200-250 pax kami, they gave me 10% off naman during the fair . Nung una kukunin ko sana is the 35k package of Infinite Soul with JS Mina (so 20k for infinite soul then 15k with JS Mina), pero I think mas makakamura kasi sa 10% off with JS Mina na lang then iba pa discount na ibibigay ng Infinite Soul samin

ah talaga? San ba venue mo? Yung owner ba nakausap mo, baka matawaran mo pa yun kasi 2 packages naman pala kukunin mo sa kanila. Or check Rejectkrew mas mura yun alam ko at maganda feedback dito sa girltalk pero dapat si elmer daw kunin mong technician kapag hihire mo sila para maganda kalabasan ng wedding mo based sa mga nabasa ko.
