Recommend a good band, singer, etc for reception (Part 2)

Im a fan of infinite soul acoustic, kinuha din sila ng friend ko sa kasal nila, they managed to perform so well from ceremony and reception. Sa ceremony pa lang natuwa na kaming mga guests and naiyak sa bridal march , kinanta nila yung favorite song ng friend ko. Tried and tested na talaga sila na magaling talaga....

I'll be booking infinite soul this week. Hahaha di ako nakahabol sa bridal fair. Thanks for the recom of our sisses here. Ang galing nga nila. Tagal ko nagsearch ng acoustic band. Im searching for vids na kasama yung sax player nila kasi yun yung important sakin kaso wala ako makita. May nakawitness na ba ng performance nila with a sax player?

By the way, my first choice was Manila Philharmonic. We were this close to booking them (12 pc + vocalist) until we attended a wedding last Saturday and disappointing ang performance nila lalo na ng vocalists na kasama nila. Walang kilabot effect. Buti na lang umattend kami ng wedding hahahaha.

2nd choice ko is an acoustic band. I inquired with 3rd avenue, sobrang limited ng time na binigay sakin for performance. Parang di worth it sa rate nila. Coz PHO assured me they will stay til the end of the reception. But 3rd avenue will just perform for 2 hours. So the search for the acoustic band continues...

Then sisses here posted about Infinite Soul... ayun, they caught my attention. Great band, great performance. After i watched their vids, text ako agad hahaha at ang bilis din nila magreply. Was asking kung may sax vid sila pero they told me na their sax player is sitti's player. booom. this is it na talaga haha.

hahahaha @crunchymyx22 ako gusto ko yan pero ako lang kasi ang makulit ang personality samin ni fiance. fiance is very serious so hindi siguro yun papayag pag nirequest ko ang careless whisper


sis jazzlawyer 30++ songs pwedeng requested ko lahat yung songs full acoustic setup + percussionist + violinist + sax (additional fee for the sax). yes kinuha ko rin sila for the church kasama sa package nila. nakahabol ako dun sa bridal fair package nila kahit hindi ako nung bridal fair nagbook. yun nga lang, hindi ko pa nakausap ang Manila Cathedral if they will allow me to bring a band inside and to have my own bridal march song and my own vows. *fingerscrossed

3rd avenue 2 hours for the reception. if with church, 1 hour reception and 45mins for the church. ayun. kaya infinite soul won my heart. congrats btw sis on your wedding. you look beautiful

Well, I am one of the many clients na napasaya ng Madz and Dzhei. And sorry to say, kung sino man ang naglet go kila Madz, I tell you, you missed one of the rare chances na makarinig ng live na performance sa isang napakabait na tao at napakaangelic ang boses    to crunchymyx22 upon reading your responses, may i ask, I think you know a lot about Infinite Soul Acoustics on a technical aspect, and you said youve been with them for 5years? Arent u a wedding coordinator? Coz I believe hindi allowed magsalita dito ang wedding supplier as it will be bias, knowing na kilala mo na ang infinite soul for 5 years, samantalang sila Madz minsan mo lang nakasama. Kung typical man ang music nila Madz, well actually, it's not their music you  are pointing out. It's the newlyweds requested songs. I had  them on my wedding and all they sang were my chosen songs. Affordable talaga sila Madz but it doesnt justify quantity over quality. Mabait lang talaga si Madz kaya maraming nagbobook kagad dahil shes so down to earth despite of her great talent

oo sis kasama nga sila sa bridal fair sa PICC, may booth sila dun. Regarding sa album nila, Warner Music daw magrerelease nun.  fan din nila ako kaya suportahan ko sila ng bonggang bongga, they deserve the fame.

PLEASE don't claim that they have reviews in w@w, its a wrong information as nobody has posted any reviews about them in weddingsatwork.

I think you ARE FROM INFINITE SOUL ACOUSTIC. please dont badmouth madz and dheiz too as we are here as brides to find good feedbacks and reliable suppliers from the experience of true brides not from a supplier who recommending its own business.

^nalungkot ako dito. i already booked infinite soul during bridal fair. since wala ako masyado feedback sa madz and dzei. though umpisa pa lang naman i think something is wrong with crunchymyx22 post that's why di ko din masyado pinapakinggan yung mga sinasabi niya dito. what i did is asked someone na i know na bride din. i just ask her bat siya nagpalit ng band from madz and dzei to infinite soul and she gave me a very reasonable answer. which is same reason din why i booked infinite.

pero something's happened last time in w@w which i think same person as crunchymyx22 who advertise infinite soul in a wrong way.

nalungkot tuloy ako, kasi booked na ako sa kanila and parang may something wrong. and di na rin naman ako pwede magcancel since 40% yung dp namin. hayss

I was about to book Infinite Souls dahil sa enticing offer nila sa amin na free ceremony (6k if ceremony lang) if we will get them hanggang reception. Plan na talaga namin ang playlist na lang since hindi naman kalakihan ang LOL and ayaw ko naman na sumikip pa lalo ang space. Kaso yung repertoire nila hindi meant for us so step back muna ako. Si h2b din biglang nagbago ng isip pianist na lang daw.

Help naman mga sis for pianist or kahit string with vocalist who can do 60s and 70s na songs (e.g More than I Can Say,  Can't Smile Without You). Bata pa naman kami (lalo na ako :p) pero mas sweet kasi for us yung old songs hehe May new songs naman pero plan naman talaga is majority old songs

Para sakin lahat naman ng mga wedding suppliers magagaling, they have their own strenghts and weaknesses as well kaya matagal na din sila sa wedding industry. Pero yun nga, it will still depends sa preference ng couple when choosing the right supplier for them. Nasa couple pa din final decision, and ang GT forum sya na nakakatulong sa madaming b2bs like me in scouting suppliers and pampaalis din ng wedding preps anxiety sometimes. I think its wrong nga to compare one supplier from another especially if ang dating is sinisiraan na sila, obvious naman na madaming suppliers dito sa GT  kaya minsan ingat din talaga naabuso kasi ang GT kasi open to public sya.

We chose Infinite soul acoustic not because nabentahan kami ng kung sino man supplier na nagpo-post dito but because we like their music style, and we are praying that they will really deliver on our wedding day. Madz is a very nice person base sa email exchanges namin and very down to earth and magaling the fact na madami silang bookings and matagal na sa industry its just that we prefer infinite soul's style. As i've said we all have our own preference. 

I know lahat ng real b2bs dito we just want our dream wedding to happen, but don't forget din that aside from being OC sa wedding preps natin we should focus more on preparing ourselves for our marriage. So please, stop the negativity. Happy vibes ladies
