Twice na ko nakavisit sa Happy Lemon (High Street) since its opening last weekend. Nakakatuwa kasi walang pila both times.

It's the smallest HL branch na napuntahan ko. Katabi nya JBL and Friday's. Across Krispy Kreme.

I'm sipping Wintermelon of iTea now....and masarap pala! plus it's cheap 55 lang with pearls na. Syempre wala pa rin tatalo sa wintermelon ng GongCha, but for the price pwede na..

@Frozen Toes: i haven't dropped by pero I saw the pics in their FB page, ang liit nga. I thought they will occupy the whole space na dating sa Verzio. Naku ang sikip nun lalo na if puno esp. pag weekends  Kumusta naman waiting time, sis? Kaya hesitant pa kami pumunta kasi expected namin daming tao and ayaw namin makisiksik and hintay ng matagal for our orders e.

u8mypinkcookies, nag HL ulit ako sa Fort last Monday at may pila na. I was 8th in line and got my drink after about 15 minutes. Not bad na rin.

was in happy lemon fort last night.  we were 2nd in line but they were obviously undermanned coz it took them around 20 min to serve my orders.  nonetheless, still enjoyed my usual order of rock salt cocoa.  question, whatelse are good in happy lemon?

question pa, you think milk teas are here to stay or is it just a fad just like yogurt, ice scramble, etc?

yaa chado masarap sya... first tea kong natikman nameet din namin yung owner sa lasalle hehe masarap yung apple nila may basil and mura.... wintermelon din nila iba lasa masarap.

then sinubukan din namin yung milkyway tea sa tabi ng pearl place ortigas masarap din sakanila yung wintermelon milk tea..ganda ng serving and store...

zentea naman sa likod ng office ng bf ko tapat ng asian ba yun.. medyo nasobrahan naman sa tamis wintermelon rin inorder ko

tapos yung chatime sa landmark makati sinubukan ko yung taro bean milk tea nila masarap din hehe

top 1 ko yung chado kasi may mga special ingridients sila and mura.. dapat mg frafranchise kame kaso magulo yung babae ng prepresent...

top2 milkyway tea- masarap din pero medyo mahal

top3 chatime masarap din and dami nilang menu... and kakaiba din yung gadget nila na pang numbering hehe

50 percent lang ako ng sugar ayaw ko tumaba... sobrang nakakaadik mga to hehe patok na patok

@funky f: i think it's a fad lang, just like the other pearl shakes few years back. Even if it's so popular kasi now, not all people naman are milk tea drinkers e, unlike coffee na mas marami talaga may gusto

@Frozen Toes: i still haven't dropped by. I dunno medyo di ako nag-c-crave e kahit gusto ko sya tikman before. Saka na siguro pag may cravings para ma-appreciate ko and willing ako maghintay sa pila

^I love Okinawa ng Serenitea, Gong Cha milk tea with pearl jelly and Tea Farm milk tea with pearls. Hindi ko masyadong type ang cha time and HL (nasisira kasi tummy ko pag ngtry ako)

tinikman ko ang wintermelon cold with 75% sugar sa serenitea. ok naman siya sa akin. masarap.

i tasted the strawberry milk tea at tea101.. di ko gusto
choco rock salt cream at teaberi medyo mapait yung choco
banana milk tea & lychee milk tea chatime were surprisingly good
the wintermelon milk tea at moonleaf was good, the caramel tea was so-so
the cha yen tea at cha dao was weird for my taste (although i said 70% sugar, baka i should have tried 100% for my first time) but the assam tea was good.

as for yakult based drinks
the lychee yakult at moonleaf was good & the peach mango drink at cha dao was good too (lasang peach mango pie)

i think its a craze but not necessarily a fad. i think it'll stay naman.
i don't go to starbucks anymore kasi with the money i spent there, katumbas na ng dalawa sa milk tea places and nung cinompare ko, and i bought both (frap and milktea), di ko pinansin yung frap. i think may mga establishments na mawawala after some time pero i think a few would remain.

the best for me is Gong Cha and Serenitea
pwede na sa Tea 101, Tealogy, Chatime and Chao Dao

You can never be wrong with Gong Cha's House Specials.. real taste of tea talaga. and for non tea-drinkers like me, don't worry cause namamask ng milk cream yung talagang lasa ng tea. super sarap.. try Earl Grey Milk Tea with Grass Jelly.. ayyyyy... Nainis ako sa Wintermelon tea ng Serenitea. or siguro kasi i expected it like nung sa Gong Cha. Full Sugar pa pinili ko, sobrang tamis pala nun sa Serenitea. Sa Gong Cha kasi parang sakto lang yung Full Sugar nila, for me ha. Nag milk tea madness ako last week, every night Gong Cha ang dinner ko.. I tried all of the House Special varieties, except for the chocolate Ranking ko: Earl Grey, Wintermelon Tea, Black Tea, Green Tea, Alisan Tea. pero lahat okay naman. di kasi sila nagkakalayo ng lasa dahil dun sa milk cream. Yun ang nagpapasarap sa Gong Cha.

^Gong Cha is the best for me. It actually is the store that convinced me to switch from coffee fraps to milk tea. Kasi dati pa ko kinoconvince ng sis ko to try pero hanggang tikim lang ako kasi di ko type. Uso sa UST kasi eh lagi ko siyang sinusundo. Lagi kong sinasabe nun na aksaya lang sa pera at di naman masarap. Nung natikman ko yung Gong Cha naadik na ko.
