A friend told me that window blinds are now banned in the US and Australia because it had caused so many accidents involving children. There were cases wherein the children got strangled by these blinds, causing injury or worse, death. Meron daw isang mom, akala nya nagna-nap yung toddler nya sa room and when his elder son came home, nagtanong daw kung bakit nasa window yung bunso. When they went inside the room, na-strangle na pala ng tali ng blinds. Nadala nila sa ospital but it was too late. Hinde talaga ako maka-get over sa news nato. yung bata kasi eh ka-edad ng anak ko. Kakatakot. Pinatanggal ko agad lahat ng decorative blinds sa bahay.

^Merong tool na pwedeng ilagay sa blinds to prevent that. I got a sample when my son was very young. I can't remember what it is called. Anyway, mas maganda talaga ang binabantayan mismo ang bata meaning palaging iche-check or better yet wag iwalay sa paninging because anything in the house can really cause accidents. I think some moms are getting too comfortable with gadgets in monitoring their kids.

Read it last night, grabe I can't move on sa story na ito, in a way na Im very affected because I have younger siblings. Gosh this should be put into jail (male). imagine at 14 may sexual experience na, sana nag antay siya ng another 4 years before experimenting / engaging ito sex. Naaawa ako na naiinis sa kaniya.
