Hello! My wedding would be on March 28 2015 and we've booked this church last month. Maganda ang exterior and interior nung church and I fell in love with it immediately. The surroundings din is superb. Hindi ka magwoworry about cars sa streets or other people walking around o kaya yung background mo pagka-open ng door. We booked it the day after we saw it. Kaso concern ko lang, hindi na ba liliwanag yung loob during the ceremony? Medyo madilim kasi.

If you would read all the rules and guidelines talaga, feeling mo super strict sila. Pero if you really think about it, tama lang naman kasi. Very strict dress code, kailangan din ng seminars ng p/v, musicians/singers, and coordinators.

As of now 28k pa rin siya for non parishioners, airconditioned. Exclusive of flowers. Half of the fee ang required to reserve, and they don't do pencil booking. They accept cheques sa payment, payable to "St. James the Great Parish." Di pa kami nakakabalik to discuss about the flowers but they told us sa office na it ranges from 14k to 30+k ata? Friendly yung guards na naka-duty nung mga araw na andun kami. Acccommodating din naman yung staff sa office. Pero it was Sister Carol who we got to talk to about the details. She was very nice to us, and gave us tips din. She sent us the missalette template right after we left at nakita ko agad when we got home. When I asked about the song during the entrance, liturgical nga daw talaga dapat but she said na meron pa din daw nakakalusot na hindi liturgical ang ginagamit. Strict sila sa sched kapag na-late. Siguro every 15 minutes late may mawawalang part ng ceremony. I plan to tell people that the wedding ceremony is at 2:30 PM, kahit na 3 PM talaga siya. Lol.

Ask ko lang po sa mga naikasal na dito, kailangan ba mastered mo yung mga prayers and all pagdating sa Canonical interview? Kinakabahan kasi ako. Haha. Para kang iha-hot seat. hehe. Sana they can give us a flexible schedule kasi nasa military si h2b, very very limited ang time na nakakauwi.

^hi sis, st. james bride here! what time ba wedding mo? tingin ko medyo maliwanag naman sya sa loob based sa nakikita kong pics. regarding the flowers starting at 15k pataas yung rate. for us ni fiance ok na kami sa 15k masyado kami nabobonggahan sa 20k. san pala reception mo sis?

3 PM ang wedding sis, hopefully maliwanag naman! Hehe. May wedding doon nung visits namin, from the part sa entrance medyo madilim. Siguro pag andun na sa medyo harap okay na.. Saka siguro ok na din kasi may lightsmen din naman ang p/v diba?

Okay na din samin ni h2b kahit ano sana, kasi maganda na yung church. Ang hindi satisfied eh yung mom ko (gusto kasi talaga niya super involved siya hehe). Ask ko din pala sis, nung pumunta kasi kami dun andun pa yung christmas decors. Okay pa din ba kahit wala na yung lanterns and all? May chandelier-ish feel kasi yung mga white lanterns kaya nakakatuwa that time. Pero wala na yun by the month of March. Hehe.

Sa Acacia hotel ang preps and reception ko sis.

^maganda pa din st.james kahit walang decors sis hehe, nung una gusto ko dec.ikasal kasi mas maganda daw, pero nagpunta kami don dec 28 hindi nagustuhan ni fiance yung decors ng xmas, kasi puro daw parol dati kasi hindi ganon decoration non pag xmas e.

hindi naman kumontra parents ko sa choice namin pero namamahalan sila haha, sa church alone palang kasi gagastos kana ng almost 50k because of flowers plus choir pa!

^true yan sis mahal nga! yung mga pinsan ko na ikinasal ang nababalitaan ko lang eh nasa 20+k lang yung nagagastos nila for the church. di ko alam ang ending ko eh mas mahal pala. inisip ko nalang, ang pera mababawi pero kung mabigat ang loob ko na sa ibang simabahan ako ikasal, hindi ko na mababawi yun. hehe. typical girl din naman ako, may dream wedding din. haha!

mas okay na din sis na hindi tayo december bride.. mas mahal ikasal pag december! haha! when is your wedding pala sis?

^true sis mahal pag december, grabe nung nag inquire kami last dec lang full na buong weekend ng 2014. Kaya february kami sis, hehe. about pala sa priest ano sabi sayo? magdadala ba? or meron sila don?

yes sis... as per sister carol, no personal vows since its not part ng catholic celebration

.. we still booked the church anyway... ang yung sa bearers , 2 lang daw

also fyi ng mga soon-to-be St. James brides, 17k ndaw ang minimum ng flowers though hindi ko ito naitawag sa florist nila.. waaah. pamahal ng pamahal! hehe

I asked a friend na kinasal nung nov. Hindi nya sure about sa vows nasa priest daw yun. Sa bearers naman 3 daw kanya. Pero sabi 2 nga lang daw pero sya 3 kasi nasabihan na nya yun parent nung sa bible bearer. Wala naman daw naging problem.
