Your favorite Lipbalms, Lipglosses and Lipsticks (Thread VI)

Just recently discovered nivea creme. Pwede pala syang overnight lipbalm. Ang lambot, smooth and pinkish ng effect ng lips ko pagkagising.

Sis, ito ba yung blue tin can na all-purpose skin creme?

HHN tinted lip balm if I dont feel like wearing a lipstick. Then their regular lipbalm for everyday use

siis parang pink lahat ng tint sa maybelline baby lips eh..hehe  meron bang reddish cherry tint yung maybelline? I got their liquid lipstick btw.. ok lang..dry after a few hours..

^ Not sure kung merong cherry red sis, pero yung natry ko nun parang apple red naman. Yung Candy Wow series ito ata yung mas pigmented tinted lip balms nila, not sure sa mga colors..

Lip Balm: Snoe Beauty's 1st Kiss BesoBalm Whitening Lip Treatment. THIS IS SUPER MOISTURIZING! After almost a month of using it, dethrone ko na si Maybeline Baby Lips as my HG lip balm. Gals with dry and cracked lips, you should definitely check it out! I always have dry lips since childhood, yung tipong nagbbleed yung  lips ko, worse nagsusugat kasi di ko mapigilan hindi tuklapin. Pangit! Never ko na naexperience yun since I used this. Sobrang minty neto (parang naglagay ka ng Vicks sa lips) kaya akala ko drying.. but damn, I was wrong. I can wear my uber drying lipsticks without worrying na magcha-chap lips ko in a few hours. I can't stop touching my lips kasi super lambot nya. Drastic talaga yung change for me. Sa Maybeline Baby Lips kasi may times na hindi siya reliable pag drying yung lipstick ko and I find the scent annoying already. Nag-ttrigger na ng migraine ko. Sa whitening part, I can't say pa kasi di naman talaga dark lips ko. Prevention lang sa pag-darken kasi I smoke and every day ako nagli-lipstick/lip stain. Downside: Pricey for a lip balm (P400) and no SPF content but once I ran out, I will definitely repurchase.

@budzwhiz - Hi sis! Curious lang po. If you don't mind I just want to know why you prefer the non-spf type.

^@oracle - Yung sa V&M sis di ko pa na-try. I have tried HHN tinted lip balm in Flame Tree pero binigay ko lang sa ate ko kasi mas moisturizing parin yung Maybeline Baby Lips. Iba talaga tong sa Snoe sis. Try mo rin! May nabasa din ako dito sa GT na moisturizing din yung regular na BesoBalm. Cheaper siya kesa sa 1st Kiss BesoBalm Whitening Lip Treatment kasi P200 lang yun.

@ Sis parpol_haze Sa gabi ko kasi ginagamit si Baby Lips. Kaya ayoko ng may spf, hehe. Wala pa kasi akong nakikitang bagong night lip treatment na maganda in place of my Ole Henriksen. I so so love Baby Lips kaya I use it at night na rin.
Pero gusto ko yung Snoe na ni-rave mo. Pagpunta ko Manila I will try that. Update mo kami sa lightening effect ha kung meron.

^^@budzwhiz - Ow I see sis. Kala ko kasi may something off sa mga may spf na lip balms. Try mo sya sis as a night treatment. I have pigmented lips. Update ko kayo dito pag "pumuti" lips ko. Yung Baby Lips ba na clear may scent din yun like the tinted ones?

Nagkaron ako ng medyo maliit na pimple sa vermilion sa HHN Bumili ako ng Naturals by Watsons Argan Oil lip balm kasi okay yung ingredients nya, walang lanolin, tocopherol, petrolatum, mineral oil. Kaso may benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, benzyl salicylate. hehe! Okay ba sa lipbalm yung may castor oil? Yun kasi unang una sa list nya eh. Mura pa! 89 lang ata.

@oracLe - Sis, main ingredient yung castor oil sa paggawa ng lip balms. That's what makes the lip balms shiny/glossy.

omygosh!!! Namamaga yung lips ko! Especially the upper lip. May butlig butlig na red pa. First time this has ever happened to me. For using Baby Lips for a week straight day & night kaya?

Me too sis, I also find the Colorburst series really good.  I'm using the Colorburst BalmStain these days and I think I'm going to stick to it. 

Would you mind sharing ano difference between BalmStain and Matte Balm and why you like BalmStain better?

^^@budzwhiz - Oh no sis. That's sad to hear. Anong Baby Lips yung gamit mo na nag-cause ng allergic reaction?

^@j.adore - Sis, share ko lang din experience ko with the Revlon Matte Balm and Balm Stain.

Matte Balm in Elusive - I hate this! It washes me out. Ang pretty pretty sa online swatches kaya ako napabili. Must be my pigmented lips kaya sige pagbigyan na nagkamali lang ako sa shade pero mas nainis pa ko sa kanya kasi it doesn't settle on my lips. Yung parang nakapatong lang sya at naeemphasize nya yung lines sa lips ko. Not flattering at all. Tinry kong haluan siya ng ibang creamy and matte lipsticks para naman di masayang pero di ko sya magamit because of the formula. Waste of money, IMO.

Balm Stain in Smitten - Ni-rave ko to sa thread ng KISSPROOF LIPSTICK. LIP STAIN. LIP COAT. As in nasa lips ko sya throughout the day given that I apply it generously and pang-smooching sessions talaga to. Ang ganda pa ng shade sakin. Ang sexy lang ng pagka-fuchsia pink. Ang ayaw ko lang dito is drying na siya in a few hours. Nag-flakes talaga lips ko kahit gamitan ko ng Maybelline Baby Lips underneath but when I used BesoBalm ng Snoe, ayun na! Never na siyang naging drying sakin.

Try ko yung snoe na lip balm yun na ba yung pinaka moisturizing? Palaging nag ppeel yung lips ko after ilang hours pag naka lipstick. Hindi effective yung baby lips, lucas pawpaw, vaseline.

^For me, yes. Eto na talaga yung pinaka-moisturizing na lip product na natry ko. Madami narin akong nasubukan since chapped lips talaga problema ko dati pa. I exfoliate my lips every single day pero pagdating ng tanghali, rough and nagbabalat na siya. Struggle ko yan araw araw. 1st Kiss BesoBalm Whitening Lip Treatment ng Snoe lang pala ang solusyon. Iba't iba yung variants ng BesoBalm sis ha. Check mo yung sa site ng Snoe Beauty. I cannot say about the other variants kung moisturizing din sila since etong 1st Kiss palang na-try ko. Sana effective din sayo when you get a chance to try it.
