^thanks sis. :) if 1 or 2 months nang hindi nakakapagbayad may penalty na kaya yun? i better go to the nearest pag-ibig fund branch siguro para buo nang i-settle na yung bayad ko.

I don't remember, but I think so.

Yung sa akin kasi nagmature na ang loan, kaya yun lahat binayaran ko. Good thing it wasn't a big amount.

Also you need to pay the contributions for the months that were missed. Kailangan updated.

sis georgeous_mommie

this would depend on the number of contributions you have.. so the more na contricbutions mas malaki maloloan mo...

im just wondering parehas ba ang MPL sa calamity loan?

thanks sis.. btw hubby has i think 11-15yrs of contributions na.. were updated naman sa payment and nag upgrade din nga kami since we have now an existing housing loan.. kapag ganun ba ilang % ng total contri ang pwede ma loan?and hanggang ganon lang ba yon pwede talaga i mean may certain percentage?and re. their home improvement loan pwede paba kami maka avail nito instead of multipurpose para ipa improve ang unit namin na under pagibig din naman?and ano kaya mas malaki maloloan kung mpl or itong home improvement??thanks po sana meron nakakaalam..tia

Nakita ko rin yan when I was trying to find other ways to pay PAGIBIG. Self-employed ako.

That blog post is partly right.

Most banks listed do accept bank payments but only if you are an business employing people, not even self-employed like me could do this. Yung mga online facilities nila in doing payments are available for those who work in an office setting and not for individuals who are self-employed.

Like in my case, nagtanong ako sa BPI if it's possible to pay PAGIBIG. It's not possible unless you are a business entity. You pay via BPI ExpressLink (which is for businesses) and not via BPIExpressonline (for individual/personal accounts).

Same is true with Unionbank. They have a separate portal for businesses too that accepts PAGIBIG payments. You can't pay PAGIBIG with just using your personal/individual bank account with them.

I think the only bank that can accept PAGIBIG payments via internet banking (i.e. deducted via your bank account) is Metrobank. I can't say it's working because I simply use my Metrobank account for the little savings that I have and not for paying bills (I use my BPI bank account for that) but the Metrobank hotline verified that their internet banking facility can be used for PAGIBIG payments.

I pretty much assume you are not a business with people employed and using the banks as facilities to pay your people, so no... it's not possible with most banks.... but do check with Metrobank and see if you can pay with your bank account.

And, there's no over the counter payment via those listed banks.

^ that's what I do too. derecho na rin sa PAGIBIG. lalakarin ko pa ang office nila. i also sometimes settle loans earlier than the maturity date para di ko na babayaran ang interest.

^ request ka ng printout ng loan mo when you pay sa customer service section nila. i do that kung sakaling walang pila pag nagbayad ako. they don't mind naman, ako nga madalas magpaprintout.

your cash or check (not postdated) is mostly needed. bring your pagibig receipt if you have. kung wala kang mga receipts, then bring your SSS and/or TIN IDs.

pwedeng i-encash yun sa Landbank.

pero di ko sure kung pwede sa kahit saang Landbank. kung ganun, nakalagay naman sa check kung aling Landbank branch pwedeng i-encash.

anyone here na nag avail ng calamity loan?

I got my cheque last Sept. 28. Mabilis naman ang processing. Plus maliit ang interes and after 3 months pa ang start ng amortization.

^sis, after 5 months pa... i also availed the calamity loan kahit me existing mpl. actually a month pa lang ako naghuhulog and it was approved naman. habol ko lang is the lowered interest rate (10.75 to 5.95!).

i am just wondering how they compute for the interest, anyone?
