^ sad to hear that sis, nakapwesto kami sa bandang gilid.. medyo malayo sa buffet area at wala naman kaming na-encounter na ganyan but pansin ko may marurumi silang gamit in buffet area like nung lalagyanan ng icecream.. looks like hindi talaga ok ang branch na ito..

We had lunch in their Eastwood branch yesterday and so far, ok pa naman any service and over all cleanliness. Ok naman yung dessert choices. Haven't dined here for a while and nagulat ako na meron nang butter garlic shrimps na nakabalot sa foil and you cook over the grill, yummy!

Hubby and I, we love Sambokojin, sulit and sarap. Try also their sauces, masarap yung sambokojin sauce nila. We love their uni, woohoo! Can't wait to go back, treat daw ako ni hubby end of March kasi natupad ko yung no-buy challenge nya for a month, woohoo!

So far West Ave branch pa lang natry ko, the bldg is old pero wala naman kaming naexperience na kakaiba. Haha

I like their grillables better than Yakimix, even the Japanese food selection is better (katsus, makis and sushis).

Ang konti pala ng selection ng sambo kojin, i think people go there for the tempura, masyadong big deal ata na laging nirerefillan yung tempura lol. Not much dessert options as well. I also didn't like their kimchi, may off.
I liked the kamameshi rice though.

i've tried sa Eastwood, West Ave, at sa EDSA branches (yikes fan na fan! haha)
in terms of interior? very similar silang lahat. sa service at food, same din.
pero kung gusto mo madami-daming parking slot, sa eastwood ka na.

Yes sis, there's a bday promo... 3 days before bday date, during bday and 3 days after bday date - free lunch or dinner to birthday celebrant provided he/she is accompanied by one paying adult, so up to a total of 14 free meals. I had my free dinner last Nov. 4.

haynako, I didnt know about the birthday promo, pero dito (Southmall branch) ko niyaya yung mga friends ko for my bday celeb, akala nila alam ko kaya dito ko sila niyaya. Ang sulit talaga dito sa Sambo. Sarap ng food even ang icecream masarap - alam nyo ba kung ano yung icecream nila? or may exclusive supplier sila(?) Hindi ako mahilig mag buffet kasi feeling ko lugi ako, pero siguro dito hindi naman, coz sa prawns and mga Maki/Susi pa lang masusulit ko na ang Php700 ko

we tried eating here last feb sa eastwood branch. nakakadisappoint lang, same as yakimix, hindi din mukhang fresh yung mga iggrill. lalo na yung shrimp, luma na. ang nagustuhan ko lang is their cold ramen, hot ramen, sukiyaki and shakes. as for the desserts, wala din. parang yakimix din.

the worst part is the comfort room. yuck as in kadiri. super dumi tapos isa lang tapos for men and women pa. grabe lang, hindi na kami nag cr dun, sa mall nalang. hindi man lang sila nag allocate ng maayos malinis tsaka hindi coed na cr.

I've tried Sambo, so so lang sya for me.
Gaya nga sinabe nung nasa taas ko. Hindi fresh yung shrimp. Medyo di ko bet dito.

Favorite buffet! Mas gusto ko sa vikings to kasi may lutuan. So kapag dito, dami naming kwentuhan while cooking. Hindi kain kain lang. Hehe megamall branch lang natry ko sa kanila ok naman so far

Go to the Megamall branch. I think okay ang selection dito, they even have a carving station ala Dad's. Mas okay din ang dessert station madaming selection.

My point of comparison is EDSA and Eastwood branch. It's been a while since I went to Eastwood though. Have they improved?

Oh buti na lang lagi kami sa Mega. This is our go to pag buffet.

my first try was the eastwood branch. mga 3 years ago, they have the worst service. they dont refill the desserts and other selections. baka nagimprove na?

^agree. Parang mabilis sila mag-refill sa Mega. I like that the dessert selection is good too. Maraming matcha desserts. Super yay for me yun.
