Making a thread just for Sambo Kojin, I think it is time magkaron na siya ng sariling thread

My 2cents: Super worth it ang bayad. Less than 700 lang. Personally i love
Sukiyaki- nakaka 2 bowls ako dito (breaking  my rules when it comes to buffet eating)
Yamemeshi rice: masarap din (breaking another rule)
beef and pork for grilling- very flavorful kahit wala pang mga sauce. Better quality compared to Yakimix. Lagi narereplenish and di nauubusan
Sauces- there is a sauce na magugustuhan ng kakain.  I think 6 or 8 yun choices
they have yun appetizer pag upo mo.  Korean-ish. sweet potato, anchovies, etc
prepared meals: Gusto ko yun gyoza nila. And tofu steak and chapchae. I do not eat shrimp tempura so i cannot comment. Madami pa e, i forgot lang
cali maki and sushi rolls: i am not fond of it (in general) so i cannot give an honest review
Service: VG for me. Attentive ang staff.

branches: (not sure but i think 2) Eastwood and Edsa(Near MRT Annapolis)
Overall, i love Sambio Kojin! Will eat there again sa end of January for my sister' birthday

Uy, may thread na ang Sambo. Loves ko din ito! Affordable pero sarap ng  food! : )

Yes to Sambo Kojin. Very attentive and welcoming staff. Mas mabilis makakuha ng table sa EDSA than Eastwood branch pag dinner time.

Hmm, I wonder how this compares to Yakimix. I've eaten at Yakimix a few times but have yet to try Sambokojin. Parang similar yata set up dito?

^ In terms of concept, same, but very different sa taste, quality and service sis! sobrang layo ni Sambo kay Yakimix!

The good (vs Yakimix)
- the ambiance is better, not too commercialized. Yakimix tends to be too crowded and informal
- they have a Japanese authentic feel compared to Yakimix that tends to have that western fusion already
- Love the sauce selection!
- Much attentive servers IMO


The Bad
- So far, 2 branches only
- sushi/sashimi choices is quite limited
- poor dessert selection (but you dont go to buffets for the sweets really)

Prefer sambokojin over yakimix also, ambiance and service are way ahead of yakimix and i like their food selections as well.

Waiting for their branch in lucky chinatown to open.

Hay,sana dito na lang kami kumain and not sa Yakimix.
 Di talaga masyado masarap sa Yakimix. Ang konti pa ng choices ng food at desserts.

i just wish magkaron narin sambo in south area..kahit alabang pa ang layo kasi namin sa branches.. but i missed sambo so much....specially now that theyre serving sam gyup sal...

After ilang kain kami dito, nagsawa na rin kami. Nakakasawa din kasi na grilled nalang lahat. Maganda sana kung may soup tulad sa Tong Yang.

Hallo i want to ask yun 649 weekends all in na ba yun i know lang wala pang drinks yun. Pag sa edsa branch ano bababaan from baclaran ? Me landmark area ba?  Or pwede mrt thanks

Never got tired... sarap kasi talaga dito (for me)
tried both branches.. i prefer eastwood branch, mas masaya ang feeling ko dun..
pero hindi naman bad sa Edsa branch
