HONDA JAZZ OR ISUZU XT - what would you choose?

Any suggestions???
I'm thorn now between HONDA JAZZ or ISUZU XT.  Here's my dilemma:
- budget wise, pasok both
- i need a fuel efficient car
- re sale value should be high
- matibay ang kaha, in short safe!
- mataas or di madali pasukin ng baha
- bagay sa ladies :-)
- manual or matic?

My husband wants an isuzu kasi nga daw mataas but ang worry ko lang, pag diesel di po ba maingay ang matagtag?  Sama pa usok pag tumagal?
To those who have either any of these, please give me your insights... Pros and cons of having any of this model... Your reply will be much appreciated.  Thanks

Honda Jazz samin

-fuel effecient naman
- high din naman daw resale value
-bagay na bagay pag ladies;)
-automatic

Pinaka gusto ko sa jazzy namin ay Natitiklop ang backseat at pwede ko punuin ng paninda sa bazaar:)

Honda Jazz also for me. At pag type mo na ibenta, mas mataas ang resell value.

^ ako magda drive sis....  planning to have a baby na din this year so eventually, will need a bigger car na din...  if i may ask, since according to your post you are using a diesel car--- di po ba masyado high maintenance?  I know for a fact that every 5km ang change oil but am worried since it's my first time to use diesel... baka mausok pag tagalan.  Am working in makati and you know naman how strict mga 'chocolate boys' dito   
Sulitin ko na question ko ha--- manual po ba or matic your diesel?  My officemate kasi told me since nasa manila ako, advisable daw matic knowing the traffic condition here.... BUT--- since diesel nga, baka i would end up paying more if matic kasi baka mas high maintenance or baka di advisable matic na diesel???  I don't know talaga but i'm open to options naman....
Ang nagustuhan ko lang kasi sa honda is the market value and prestige (am a honda owner also so iba dating    yun nga lang... mababa sobra as compared to isuzu....  Haaayyy!  Hirap mag decide!

^ wow!  120kph sis, diko kaya yun!    Hanggang 100kph lang siguro pinakamabilis na natakbo ko, pag lumampas na dun takot na ko, hehe (sorry mod- off topic :-)

Last night, usap kami ni husband... First choice kasi talaga namin is the crosswind xuv (manual) but last night, sobrang pagod ko talaga pag uwi ko due to terrible traffic (edsa ako dumaan)... I opted for a matic na lang... 2nd option ko is the honda jazz (1.3 matic) since city driving lang naman so ok na siguro kahit 1.3 lang basta matic... BUT will go for isuzu xuv matic na, pray approve ng boss ko coz lumampas sa budget namin price quote nun, hahaha!
