Non-Filipino Citizens Traveling to The Philippines For More Than 21 Days

So ladies I will just report back about my experience. I was about to take my chance and not get an extension since parang nakakalito kung meron ba talagang limit. Good thing my friend mentioned that he kinda pleaded sa  immigration to give him 1 year sa stamp sa passport. Then it dawned on me that meron pala silang nilalagay na number of days sa stamp sa passport. Lol! I checked my passport towards the end of my trip and buti na lang it (appears to me) reads 1 year.

Just to inform former Filipinos who are now US citizens, there is no need to bring proof of being a former Filipino because US passports indicate place  of birth which is Philippines and are automatically given one year stay in the Philippines.

My bf will be traveling with me this october and he's planning to stay in the philippines for 22 days kasi yun yung sked namin ng flight pabalik. Does he still need to extend his visa kahit 1 day lang naman? I'm still holding a filipino passport so maybe that will help since its only a day extension. Sayang din kadi yung 3k kung magbabayad pa kami para lang sa 1 araw. Thanks po sa sasagot.

^ Yes sis, they're strict about that. DOT keeps saying that the 21 days will be changed to 30 but that hasn't happened pa so your BF will have to pay the 3k to extend even if it's just 1 day.
