Where to go and what to do for V Day

Kami rin as early as now we are planning our date for the Valentine's date. Last year we had dinner at Diamond Hotel. This year I hope maiba naman like something memorable and romantic coz parang every year na lang dinner. I'm considering the following:

- Ace Water Spa then dinner sa gabi, I've always wanted to try the place
- Long drive to Ilocos since I have a Ciudad Fernandina voucher expiring on March pa naman
- Go back to Camp Benjamin, our favorite get away place pag umuuwi sa Cavite. They have Valentines FB promo and I'm thinking of sending an entry pero pag di manalo, day tour na lang. Prize includes, AM&PM snack, use of zip line and pool, and sa gabi romantic dinner.

usually ginagawa namin takeout pagkain tapos kain sa kanila di talaga kami nagcecelebrate na nakikisabay sa iba, pero ngaun gusto ko naman itry kahit resto o hotel kaso out of town din kami by march so baka hindi ma push.

Ito yung event na walang masyadong importance sa amin ni hubby, we just stay home kasi OA sa traffic all over the metro at fully-booked mga restos. Stress lang ang makukuha.he!he!
I usually gave him a token like accessories for his gadgets or a couple of shirts. Mga no-brainer gifts lang. In return, he always give me lang roses.

First v-day namin as husband and wife ni hubby. before we celebrate after na, para yun nga less traffic and hindi makipag sabayan. a simple dinner is enough na samin both.

last year, my hubby and our lil girl gave a 3 roses yung cheap lang like nabibili sa kanto and heart shaped chocolates na may note na I love you written by my daughter. 

now naman, we are celebrating VDAY sa boracay, early celebration nga lang kasi sa Feb 1-4 lang ito at the same time 5th year wedding anniversary date na din sa march pa naman yun, pero tipid mode kasi we are planning to get a house na.

Last year though he surprised me with a bouquet of flowers. Super na-surprise naman ako non kase he has never given me flowers in all our years together. That evening we had dinner out with my family.

We're planning na magpa-SPA pero sure yun super dami tao. Maybe postV day nalang gagawin namin.

wow. this made me realize na hindi pa pala namin napag-uusapan how we will celebrate Vday. we don't really 'celebrate" the Vday kasi eh. pero okay naman talaga. ang problem lang, sobrang traffic! pero para maiba lang, sige we'll try. hmmmm... teka ma-ask nga si hubby pag-uwi ko.... i'll update you sisses kung ano napag-usapan namin.

it's our first valentine's day after getting married, and we are proudly not celebrating it, yey! 

but for the so inclined, my suggestion is to just stay home and cook dinner for your significant other.

Hubby & I  stay at home the whole day, coz we anticipate the traffic situation to be horrendous.  So we conduct business from our home on that day.

Hubby always has  red roses delivered. .  I give the kids & hubby little boxes of fine chocs --  put these out beside their plates at breakfast.  The kids give us their handmade cards.   Later, early evening, we have a barbecue & swim.  That's it.

Or, we go abroad for a 4-day weekend.

since i have work on v-day itself eh no celebration. but the next day since i have no classes, we are planning to go to the mind museum. nerds lang.... maybe breakfast muna then the museum then lunch...after that baka uwi na for sure antok na siya since night shift siya sa work... but wala naman siya work on that evening kaya ok lang na late na siya matulog ng 15.
gift? still don't have any idea.

I've already booked a delivery of ferrero chocolates with teddy bear that says "I love you" (arranged like a bouquet of flowers) for my husband. Yay! Ako naman may surprise sa kanya. Nung bf-gf pa lang kasi kami, sya lagi may flowers for me. <3

it's our first Vday as a married couple and we will be in his hometown. it will be in the middle of winter so we will prolly stay in and spend time together and cuddle! haha if we can get reservations to jaime oliver's restaurant, maybe we will brave the cold.

@little_princess does that mean you'll be in the UK in February? We are possibly going to London that time

we'll be in London first week of February. March  naman the husband wants to go to Amsterdam to see Mumford and Sons. But when our house is renovated in Wales come visit us

Unless Valentine's falls on a weekend, we never celebrate on the day itself (even when we were still dating). The traffic situation is just too much to deal with.

Also, it's a few days after my birthday so we usually have a joint celebration.

we stopped celebrating vday every feb14 because of the traffic. usually the restos will have fixed dinner courses that we do not like at all. we just treat it as a regular day and then go out of town on the following weekend =)
