Hi All. I am also a planholder of Danvil and unfortunately availed of the PPLIC No ClaimBonus. I have encountered this site and got worried.I actually issued postdated checks up to June 2013 to both plans and my Danvil is already finished but would wait another 8 yrs for its maturity. For the No Claim Bonus fromits PPLIC tie-up I raised my concern on the next payment and I actually noticed that it's no longer in Danvil's website where I used to monitor both Plans.I called PPLIC and I was informed that the group policy was terminated since March 25 and told me that my plan was already cancelled. Just like that!!! Damn!!! I alread paid I think more or less PhP100k. I didn't receive any information at all on this and it was not explained during the salestalk.Whatever agreement they have they should have informed us in advance. Otherwise I didn't availed that. Nanghihinayang [textspeak!] ako sa naibayad kya tinuloy kopero dirty tactics talaga [textspeak!] ginagawa nila tpos sasabihin ng ganun-ganun [textspeak!] na cancelled [textspeak!] policy e wala nman ako nhita khit mamerang duleng. Very unfortunate [textspeak!] kasi wala din ako sa Pinas to personally appeal sa office nila. I am waiting for the email from PPLIC and I would write a complain/appeal letter. Kawawa nman tayo na ngpapakahirap tpos dadayain [textspeak!] ng ganun.

Hi sisses, update ko lang yung sa policy ko, I was able to cancel mine (At last!). Pero di forfeited yung lahat ng binayad ko, kumbaga stop payment lang ako. And at my discretion pwede ko ituloy. Disappointed lang ako kasi parang nakakaipit talaga yung tactics nila sa pagkuha clients, ikot ikot ganyan hanggang ikaskas na CC mo. Bakit naman yung ibang companies, they need not to do that.  Kakalungkot lang kasi kawawa yung mga ibang nabibiktima IMO.

My husband availed a policy 2nd quarter of this year, sa SM Megamall din siya naloko.

Nagbayad na siya ng Php 39,000 in cash without my knowledge! At kakaltasan starting this September, monthly for I think 5 years. Hindi ko na binasa yung policy kasi naiinis ako sa husband ko pag naaalala ko iyan.
Then parang sinasabi sa policy na after 15 years makukuha namin yung binayad namin plus yung tinubo.

Ngayon gusto namin sana makuha ng buo yung 39k, is it possible? Nagalit ako sa asawa ako noon nung nalaman ko na kumuha siya nito. Nagsisisi na rin siya kasi kahit sino tanungin niya about dito negative ang sinasabi.

Parang sila din yun eh, nag change NAME lang yata.
Muntik na rin ako eh, na-swipe kasi yung CC ko, buti napa-cancel/refund ko through my credit card siguro after a month, pero syempre hassle, gagawa pa ako ng letter, etc.
Sa Megamall branch din ako nun, grabe, nag-iibang anyo ang mga agents dun, no ethics, lalaitin ka until mapa-oo ka nila, ang tagal kong naipit until closing ng mall nun.

technically you're talking about the marketing and sales arm
of family first. PPLIC has been operating for a long time before
they "acquired" the sales arm of family first.

Na dale rin ako sa megamall dati, family first pa sila pero in
the process of being acquired na by danvil at that time.

Yung sa akin naman, hnd ko na pa cancel. Most expensive lesson
in finance ever lol pero dahil dun namulat ako sa mga investment and
personal finance.

Sa SM North Annex may makulit na bading na agent. Nung nakita nya ako nag-Hi saken, tapos sabi ko, "No, no, no" with matching hand gestures pa. Nakalayo na ko sumunod pa rin, tinawag pa akong "Ganda" habang sumusunod saken. Sa sobrang asar ko nasigawan ko sya ng, "Sabi nang NO diba?", saka lang sya lumayo.

Ayos lang naman kasi na makulit, wag lang yung susundan mo pa talaga yung tao na parang nang-iistalk na. Sadly, marami pa rin sila nabibiktima.

annoyingly aggressive selling tactics to the point of being desperate. i encountered them two years ago in robplace manila. after an avalanche of sales pitches from several agents, i had the guts to gracefully say no. that was when the manager came in to point out that i have an expensive looking bag, siguro daw mayaman ako. kilala ko daw ba yung gawad kalinga, because i should just donate my money to the needy. i guess naubusan ng bala yung buong staff nila sakin. hindi ko makuha bakit ang bastos nila. i was merely saying that i have mapped out my financial goals and have started with the basics. what i needed at that point were investment options. apparently, they had no idea what investments were.

  nakakainis talaga yang prudential na yan. ako naman sa sm fairview. sana ayusin nila ang way ng pagbebenta nila para hindi sila bad image
