Hi, im new to this thread. Just want to ask for some inputs sana bout lit therapy. Mag 4 yrs n ko married and never pa nabuntis. I had my LAT test and the result is negative.Already went to Dr.Lim, he's ok nman kaso medyo expensive yung treatment sa kanya. Much that we want to but we cannot afford it. Saw the posts about Dra. Aleta and want try her sana kaso ayaw sa kanya ng OB ko based on her experience daw sa patients nya under the care of Dra. Aleta, n namamatayan ng baby in the middle of their pregnancy. If kay Dra Aleta daw ako, might as well look for another OB daw n affiliated sa kanya. Dnt knw what to do na.
I would appreciate it much if anyone can share her experience bout Dra. Aleta or bout the treatment. Thanks

^hi sis, ano ba case mo at bakit you will undergo sa immunologist? nagtest ka naba ng blood test like APAS, LAT?
my OB advice to consult kay Dra.Aleta because of my LAT issue, and what she did is to prescribe me supplements muna, if it's been a year na at wala pa rin, babalik ako sa kanya. she's nice naman and medyo pricey lang check up niya, 1k nun last year ah,, not sure ngayon. hehe.

Elow sis, had my LAT at APAS tests na. LAT is '0' kaya need ng LIT treatment. For the APAS, masyado mataas kaya Dr. Lim gave me aspirin. Btw, PCOS din ako. Instead of Dr. Lim, kay Dra. Aleta sana ako punta for the LIT treatment, prob is ayaw sa kanya ng OB ko.

Hi sis, my immunologist before was Dra.Aleta.  I had 3 miscarriages before. Nagpaalaga ako kay Dra.Aleta on my 4th pregnancy and my baby is now 7 months old.  In my opinion, you can't blame your immunologist if in the middle of pregnancy eh nagterminate ang pregnancy since all pregnancies naman na hinahawakan ng immunologist eh high risk.

Naka 3 sessions ako ng LIT with Dra.Aleta sa Katipunan na clinic nya kasi mas mura dun compare sa St.Luke's. I don't have APAS but my LAT was 0.

^hi sis, same tayo kay dra. Aleta, Lat ko 0 pero dipa ako nag LIT session. May infertility problem kasi ako and upon blood test ayun nga may immune system pero sabi ni dra vitamins na lang muna pero pag after a year wala pa rin balik ako sa kanya para sa LIT. May i know how much sa clinic niya sa katipunan? Thanks

Hi sis, last LIT ko sa Katipunan last April pa yata or May, 16k. Pag donor nila ang gagamitin, plus 1k.
Call ka nalang ulit before going kasi baka may price change.

Hi new po ako sa thread,im from bacolod, n refer ako ng immuno ko from bacolod to dra. Abong,, , 2x na po ako nakunan, 1st was blighted ovum, 2nd nawala [textspeak!] heartbeat 8w5d,,, wala po  problem sa APAS ko, pero [textspeak!] prob ko po Lat nasa 1 [textspeak!], dra. Abong advise me na mag pa Lit.

Mga sis, covered ba ng Maxicare or Medicare ang LIT? May nabasa ako dito before na may covered pero can't remember and can't find it now. TIA

It would depend on your company's coverage.  I think most companies only cover diagnostics and consultations, but treatments are generally not covered.

I am currently 8 weeks pregnant and since I have had 4 miscarriages na in 5 years, I was referred to Dr. Aleta. I had APAS and other tests done. APAS ko negative daw. I just recently received yung LAT test and ang result HLA Class I and HLA Class II both result reactions are 1. Ano po kaya ibig sabihin nito?  After Nov 1 pa ako next scheduled with Dr Aleta kasi wait ba result ng ANA ko.

Hello Female Network Ladies New po ako dito and nag back read na din ako sa LIT.

OFW po ako dito sa Middle East and got married last 2013 and twice ng na d&C.
1st is honeymoon baby nagkaroon ng heartbeat si Baby pero nag stop on 8th week and 2 days
Then last year nagtry ulit kami (with the help of Clomid) and on its 7th week Partial molar pregnancy kaya na d&C ulit

Umuwi ako sa Pinas last month (Feb) para magpacheck kasi nirefer na ako ng OB ko (Dra. Florendo) kay Dra. Abong and then after getting the results from St Lukes LAT ko is Class I and II Negative (2.33, 2.37) kaya Dra Abong advised me to have LIT. Nagawa namin yung 1st LIT using a donor for P15K tapos after 3 days nilagnat ako kaya hindi ko na nagawa yung 2nd LIT.

Nagtry ako pa 2nd opinion dito sa UAE (Feb 22) kasi baka pwede rin ituloy LIT dito unfortunately hindi nila pinapractice dito yung ganong procedure.

Ang advise lang is mag Glucophage (for my pcos), Folic and then Clomid after ng 2nd day ng period. Pag buntis na daw ako mag Aspirin and then Clexin (di sure sa spelling).

Gusto ko sana LIT kaso ang layo ko, di ba pwedeng sa isang araw 2 donors gamitin? by the way si hubby hindi rin pwede umuwi kaya donor lang gamit ko for my LIT.
Sana po may magreply para matulungan ako magdecide

Hi. Im new to this thread and this is my first time to join in a forum. We have been ttc for 7ys now. went through 5iui's and 2failed ivf with icsi. after that, i was advised to seek for an immunologist. everything is ok except for my LAT (0%). Ive been having my LIT for every 2weeks with doc aleta at bloodworks katipunan, it costs 16k per session. i just had our 3rd, and my husband is the donor. on my 4th session, i will have my LAT tested. hoping i will have some good results.

Hi thank you so much sis, nakauwi na ako sa pinas ulit tapos nag pa LIT na ako every week halos 1st LIT ko 1 donor tapos after a week 2 donors na tapos yung last 2 donors ulit. parang lumakas resistensya ko nung nasa pinas ako kaso pagbalik ko dito sa middle east ay naku nagkasakit naman ng bronchitis kaya nag antiobiotic na naman, plano ko uwi ulit sa december para kumuha pa ng last ng LIT tapos mag LAT test na kung okay na sya. sana okay na gustong gusto ko na tlaga magkababy.
