My ANA was also done at Asian, +1 homogenous naman sa kin.

My PID1 results show normal NK cells and high CD19 and within the high range for CD20 (347 while normal count is 139-347), and low range for CD4 (580 while normal count is 581-1,177). 

Which hospitals are the High Risk OBs you mentioned affiliated with? I will look them up for second opinion.  My previous OB (from Asian, present OB is also from Asian) was a high risk OB, but not among those you mentioned. 

Extreme cases nga ang nababasa ko dito, so I really don't know how to evaluate my case.

dra valerie guinto is from st lukes global, pgh, and has clinic infront of pgh.
dra sua lao, medical city, and clinic in binondo..
dra martiniez has clinic infront of pgh din other clinic nya d ko rin sure. because lots of my ivf friends from taichung availed her service.
Dra madamba burgos sa makati med ata 
mamili ka na lang.
so wala ka pala immunologist.
mahal pa naman ang ana test ng asian double sa price..
kay dra martiniez and dra sua lao.. immunologist prefer nila is dr ed lim.. a bit pricey but kung for ivig ka sulit na din. at yun iba test nya pinapadala pa sa chicago.

I already have an immunologist, had 2 consultations with him already. First was when he ordered the various lab tests, and upon seeing the results  (those I posted earlier) yesterday, he wants my husband undergo LIT screening panel at Asian Institute of Immunology as blood donor, with our LIT set on Nov. 13 na agad!  

I will check again and discuss with my OB the development of the baby on Saturday so my husband and I can weigh our options properly.

I see that your immunologist recommended the labs for APAS (antiphospholipid antibody syndrome) testing too.  There's a thread on APAS.

My OB/perinatologist is Dr. Valerie Guinto, quite popular in the APAS thread.  My immunologist was Dr. Abong.  Both have clinics at Asian.

I have been reading the earlier thread and came across some of your posts.  Another success story, and it's just so amazing to see the twins doing so wonderfully now.

My APAS (anticardiolipin IgG and IgM) results came out negative, but for the antinucrear antibody screen (ANA), the results came out +1 homogenous.  So my OB referred me to an immunologist (Dra. Abong was shortlisted in my choices).  Upon consultation with the immunologist, he said that the anticardiolipins are the "contrabida" antibodies,  and the ANA is related to these.  I guess he's just giving me a simple explanation.  So to check if I have the "good antibodies" he requested the tissue crossmatch for me and my husband.  And the results:

"NEGATIVE CROSSMATCH There appears to be no preformed antibodies in the recipient (me) to the donor's (hubby's) antigen"

hi mga sis! i just had a miscarriage last september so we decided to undergo several tests.one of the test results came out today.what does a negative tissue cross match mean?

^Where did you have it done?

If from SLMC, the negative cross match results would also indicate "There appears to be no preformed antibodies in the recipient to the donor's antigens."

Maybe your doctor can explain to you the significance of the results.

yup sis.sa st lukes global. kakareceive pa lang namin results sa email. Hindi pa kasi kami nakakabalik ng manila kya di pa namin napainterpret sa doctor. I just wanted to check if someone may know if this means we have to undergo LIT.

Hi sis barbiebaby28, based from my results "negative" din.. We need to undergo LIT treatment.. Call Asian Institute of Immunology sis if you want to have a session. Mas ok LIT nila, medyo pricey pero worth it. They will tell you how many wbc ang i-inject galing kay donor/hubby mo. Parang sa 1session mo sa iba, naka-2 sessions kana kagad sa kanila.. So mas mabilis ang effect.. cost wise pa.. Na-compare ko kasi un dati kong lit from my lit ngayon.. Hopefully maging ok kagad ang results.

hi sis wat_evah. Naka ilang sessions ka na ng LIT? with our current immuno kc taga Asian hospital cia at affiliated cia with Asian Institute of Immunology. A friend referred me to this immuno. and it looks like ok naman at magaling cia. Ang problem lang namin ngayon is baka di kayanin ng budget namin sa kanila magpa LIT kc 25K daw aabutin lahat. How much inabot sayo per session?
We were thinking kasi if ok lang na paalam kami sa immuno namin na dun kami sa manila endocrine lab muna magpa LIT kasi 14K lang daw sa manila endocrine lab. Hubby ko kasi works on abroad, eh for now,nagtuturo muna cia dito pinas para makabuo ulit kami baby so mejo baka kapusin kami sa budget pag 25K per session.

Aside from the negative tissue crossmatch namin ni hubby 85 seconds un KCT ko dun sa APAS test. SO it looks like mag heparin din ata ako pag mag pregnant ako ulit.

Hello sis barbiebaby28, whos ur immunologist? Im with dra carol gloria, wife sya ni dr cj gloria, same sila ng protocol with st lukes. Yan din ang tinanong ko before ano difference with other labs. Mas accurate kasi sila, its either sa st lukes ka magpa-lit or sa aii lang talaga. Im not against the other labs ah, pero for me medyo high risk na case naten why waste our money sis kung papaulit ulitin lang tayo. For me lang sis un ah.

Naka1 session ako kay dra aleta before pero di na ako nakabalik to check, nung lumipat ako sa aii para mag-pa lit.. Super laki ng difference ng procedure ibang iba, kaya inask ko ibang sis naten here if same ba kami ng experience with other labs, same nga talaga. Kaya when i tried aii nagulat ako kasi mas mataas ang count nila per session sis mas mapapa-ikli un session mo. Mas madami kinukuha kay hubby/donor na blood kaya mas madaming wbc ang macollect per session. Plus the protocol is different talaga kaya mas ok. Yes, mga ganun aabutin sis 1sessiion + pf in aii. Kami din out of budget na kasi may ivf pa, pero ginawan ko nalng sis ng paraan para makaraos sa lit, ayaw ko na kasi masayang lang money sa wala.

Same with me sis apas din ako..

Just had my Lit injection yesterday kay Dra A.
6 injection , 2 donor sya.
my cough and colds pa si hubby kaya di sya nag donor pa.
next week ulit Lit ko 2 donor ulit , pero pag wala na cough and colds pwede din si hubby mag donate na.

Di naman sobra sakit , carry ko naman ...masmasakit yun maglabas ng pambayad madugo talaga.

Ay same tayo dra sis, nice! Di ko lang sure sis baka same lang di naman siguro sila ngkakalayo ng rate. Siya nga pala 5 shots ako with 1 donor si hubby lang. Oh dba mas cost wise 1session lang un, kaya im sure mapapabilis ang positive result.. Puyat kasi si hubby kaya siguro 5 shots lang. Pero normally 6 shots yun per session with 1 donor lang. good luck sis!

hi sis, nagtext na sakin si dr carol gloria, we need to undergo LIT therapy nga daw. Mag set na [textspeak!] kami schedule when kami start ng LIT. Natatakot ako sa pain ng LIT pero bahala na. and I have to take 80mg aspirin daily para macontrol un APAS ko since may problem sa KCT ko from the APAS panel test.

after ilang LIT sessions ba dapat magpa recheck kung ngpositive na ang tissue crossmatch?after pa ba ng 4 sessions? kasi di ba initially si husband muna ang donor, pag hindi nagwork, saka mag try ng ibang donor? so if di magwork with husband as donor, another set of 4 sessions ulit un? parang nakakaloka sa gastos.

Hello sis barbiebaby28, same here APAS din ako need to take aspirin, once pregnant with heparin na daw.. Kaya mas grabe gastos pero ok lang para sa baby naman.. Dont worry sa pain, isama mo si hubby para may support, hold his hand para mafeel din nya un pain pag-inject sayo.. Masasanay ka din, honestly kinabahan din ako kasi january pa un last LIT ko, kaya ayun buti nalng kasama ko si hubby

Usually after 4 LIT ang checking pero siguro icheck ko after 2 sessions kasi para malaman ko kagad kung ok naba.. Yes sis kung si hubby un first donor mo sya until matapos un 4, pero kung ngstart ka sa ibang donor, tatapusin din un 4 session ng ibang donor smoker kasi si hubby, kaya medyo nag-alangan ako pero sabi ko mas ok na rin sya na lang muna hehe! May IVIG naman ako before ivf, madugo talaga sis tong issues naten kaya dapat ingatan natin na di tayo pagkaperahan lang ng iba.. Ang hirap kaya kitain ng pera diba..

we are going to start lit injections at the end of the month. sana maging effective.we will try Asian institute of immunology muna.sana true ang claim nila na sila may highest yield ng naeextract na lymphocytes.

Hi ladies...is there anyone here who got pregnant the natural way after LIT? I had almost 10 failed IUIs already with 3 different doctors and i was advised to do IVF na..but i found out that My LAT is 0%. I am not sure if will try iUI again or proceed with IVF...can I ask for your advise..
