^joining! Hay ang bilis ng panahon, magpapa-1st bday party na naman ako next year.  i saw kidstar kastles' minnie mouse theme party. Ang ganda ng pagkagawa. Sana pasok sa budget ko rate nya. Pero if ever hindi, may mairecommend ba kayong iba? I saw na spark+twinkle's photos. Hindi ako masyado naimpress eh.

iam getting Sweetnest candy buffet, i saw her work in candy buffet setup makikita mo truly pinagiisipan talaga nya every theme setup ,,that's why i choose her to set up the ceilings, stage and entrance  in my baby's upcoming 1st bday party this september including of course the candy buffet, she's nice to talk with the details,,,,wil just give feedback after the party

i inquired 2 days ago kay spark+twinkle, they can't accommodate na raw our Jan 4 event nalungkot ako but somehow, nabawasan dilemma kasi silang 2 lang talaga ni luxe ang choice ko. We're getting luxe na, if maging okay first meeting namin.

For my niece's party our party planner was Tweedledee Creatives ... but my sister got the ceiling and stage decor, and the emcee from Party Boosters.  From Tweedledee we got the lootbags, prizes, giveaways (adults and kids), centerpieces, dress up of registration, prize and souvenir tables, napkin details, name tags, giveaway tags, arts and crafts kits, and services of 2 coordinators on event day.

Overall both Tweedledee and Party Boosters were able to exceed our expectations

I will confirm with my sister their fb page ... ang alam ko bago lang sila ... kasi I asked my sister bakit 2 suppliers pa yung pagkukunan niya ng party supplies and details ... na-book na daw kasi niya si Party Boosters when she met one of the owners of Tweedledee and she liked daw the party details they made for another party ...

just want to share this ... one of the reasons siguro why I liked both Tweedledee and Party Boosters as early as 9am they were at the venue setting up everything, my sister and I were there too and they took care of all the details without much help from the waiters of the venue.  Sila na naghanap ng mga mesa na kailangan, sila na naglagay at re-arrange sa layout, they made do with the limited assistance and materials from our venue ...

May learning lang ako ... hindi pala automatic sa lahat ng party shops / planners na may services na ng coordinators on the event day.  Akala ko kasi when you book a party shop or planner may kasama nang taga-tingin sa registration table, gift table, souvenirs, etc.  I think kaya my sister booked them kasi kasama na sa quotation yung services ng minimum of 2 coords, and standard daw sa kanila yun na may coords talaga.  Sa kiddie party pa naman kailangan talaga ng assistance ng kids, kahit na may mga nannies, iba pa din yung may taga-lista ng pangalan ng mga bata sa nametags, taga-follow up ng tawag sa kids for the start of the program, taga-alok sa mga kids and parents ng mga activities and booths, etc ....

I also inquired sa Spark + Twinkle... sabi they'll get back to us daw but wala naman. Di na ako nag follow up... I got Pink N Peach instead https://www.facebook.com/pinknpeachparty mabilis sya magreply and reasonable pa rates

I sent her an PM just now asking if they do OTD coordination na rin. Di ako mapakali ng walang nagooversee ng setup.

Edit: Yay! They do OTD coordination I'll get them na rin! Whew! Relieved ako dun

I was so disappointed with Luxe. I inquired with them about 2-3 weeks ago and said that they are still available to style our event. Told them that I had to discuss first with my husband and our caterer before I can finally decide on which of their inclusions I'm getting. I messaged them thru facebook last Monday, no reply (Nagulat lang ako coz when I first inquired, quick naman response nila, probably busy sila) Wednesday when I followed up thru text, no reply still. They replied thru Facebook Wednesday night and told me that they're not sure if they can accommodate me and will still have to check with her partner coz they'll be on holiday daw and not sure if they'll be back on the day of our event. Nagmakaawa na ako to let me know the soonest para I can have other options din.

Sorry for venting out mga sis. Na-disappoint lang talaga ako coz I was set to have them style our party. maybe fault ko din for not updating them kaya hindi na nila ako ineentertain. I'll just wait for their reply and matutong wag na umasa. i feel really bad

No wonder why spark + twinkle doesn't reply to your querries, it's owned by kathleen dela Merced pala of Hi5 parties. Wayback 2010, i inquired and set an appointment with her for mu daughter's 7th bday. I got to know her dahil sikat siya dito sa GT. During our meeting , sinabi ko sa kanya mga gusto ko and said na wag naman masyado mahal ang singil nya sana ha (in pabiro manner) during that time wala ako sinasabi sa kanyang ball figure kung magkano budget ko. Siguro na small time an sya sa akin dahil sinasabi ko sa kanya na gusto ko quality but not sky high naman sana ang rate. After our first meeting di nako nakarinig sa kanya, she didnt reply to my texts anymore and she doesn't bother to follow up my party. May nabasa din ako sa GT na isang sis natin na ganon din ginawa sa kanya , sa rant thread "parang suppliers who broke our heart yata yun". Gusto ko nga sya balikan like story sa pretty woman na "BIG MISTAKE!" Kasi my budget was 600k++for the 7th birthday ng anak ko. Naiinis lang ako talaga sa kanya , i dont want to mention sana my budget here pero sa inis ko sa kanya kagigil. Haha, but i'm glad i didnt get her,  im satisfied with my party planner na nakuha , better outcome and mas maganda mag design kaysa sa kanya which is party station.

Hello! I'm a lurker here at girltalk, I decided to join now because nalungkot ako sa isang stylist.  Sobrang like ko pa naman gawa niya pero I saw her comment sa isang party supplier about clients. She said something about  - "hate nya yung mga clients/negosyante na nambabarat lalo na alam naman daw niya na may pambayad." something to that effect.

parang for me, grabe naman. lahat naman tayo nagtratrabaho para sa money natin and we all want magandang party. siyempre, like me, I take chance lang naman to ask baka may discount pa. if wala, edi wala na db. meaning best price na niya talaga yun. she can say it in a nice way naman. parang nakakatakot tuloy magpa-quote sa kanya ngayon

^ grabe naman yun sis.. sana naisip naman nung stylist or PP na yun na as customers, we always want the best sa kung ano ang afford ng budget natin. sana hindi na lang nya ni-post yung comment nya especially in a social networing site, kasi it will backfire... it will reflect kung anong klaseng tao or company sya or sila.. ako personally, as a client, i am conscious sa mga ganyang comments coming from sellers.. kasi makikita mo in those comments or reactions, kung customer-oriented sya, kung gaano sya ka-patient sa client nya or kung mukha lang syang pera... just my two cents worth ah.. hmmm.. sino kaya yung stylist or party organizer na yan??
