I finally got my clearance. It took 4 weeks. May hit kasi yung name ko.

Kagagaling ko lang NBI main ngaun, hindi ako pumila because I also paid for e clearance online pero pinapabalik pa ako sa Feb 10  . The other 4 people na kasabay ko pinapabalik din the same day. I asked kung may hit ako, sabi nung girl need pa daw i verify iyong info. Hay...

i need to apply for an NBI clearance because it is a requirement for travel to the UK, i am going there on business.

My officemate went last week and he said he was in line from 5am to 1pm! buti na lang i checked first kung papano kasi i'm not pepared to wait that long!

i've completed all the steps na except for booking the appointment. I checked here first kasi dufus me wasnt sure if i should key in the date of appointment or whatever date when i send the text to book.

before i finally make the booking, in your experience or based on feedbacks, is it better to go in the morning or afternoon?

si pinkcoyote and i think si midnight were there in the afternoon and both were out in less than an hour. siguro better din if i go in the afternoon ano? magpapa-drive ako sa husband ko cos i dont know where to park. but if it's across manila doctors, does this mean it's close to robinsons place na? walking distance ba? kasi baka my husband can park there na lang sa robinsons.

^, ^^ thanks. yon na nga sana ang plano ko. drop off muna ako sa NBI tapos afterm lakad ako to robinsons place if it's walking distance.

di pa ako nagt-text for an appointment. pwede pa naman ito ano? kasi my husband has to go on leave din to drive for me. haha. so sabi ko isabay na din ang ibang errands namin (daming need to do before i leave for the UK din kasi). so he's checking pa what day next week is good.

may deadline ba ito na dapat after x days eh maka-set ng appointment and the appointment date has to be x days after online application is made?

^Di ko lang sure sis kasi ako nagpa-sched kagad since kailangan ko na nga ng clearance. 8am ako nagpasched so maaga ako dun.. ganun na lang gawin ninyo para di na kailangan mag-leave ni hubby.. pa-late lang siya ng konti. Ganun kasi ginawa ko, pumasok ako ng office after kasi nga ang aga ko naman natapos. Nang matapos ako, tinawagan ko lang sundo ko at pinick-up niya ako. Sa may chowking daw siya nag-park.

i got my NBI Clearance in less than 10 mins. sa NBI Main! Buti na lang may Courtesy lane ang mga buntis!

I have another dufus question.

Sa text to book an appointment, what name do i put in? Kasi i'm married so ang name sa web confirmation is:

Madien name de married name, first name y maiden middle name

Haha. So i dont know if i should use all of those names or just my first name plus married name sa text.

just use your first name and married surname.. kasi ikaw naman nag fill up sa web ng info mo..

when you arrive sa NBI ID plus the web confirmation barcode ang hahanapin... then they'll take your pic and finger scanning..then they'll give you a recipt and baba ka na sa releasing and your done...

Just an update

Hindi ako nakapunta doon sa first schedule ko which was January 30, nag-try ako to re-sched ng Feb 13, and okay naman Sa NBI Taft lang daw 'yung may E-Clearance sila. 'Yung malapit sa WHO

Tapos I was there around 2-3 PM yata. Sa 4th floor lahat ng e-clearance. Parang mas matagal pa ata 'yung inakyat ko kesa sa pagstay ko doon. Walang pila. Haha! After 3 days pa daw makukuha, ganun na daw ngayon eh Hope this helps!

Kakagaling ko lang din nbi. My appointment was at 10 but i got there mga 1030. Mga 5 yung nakapila before me. I was done before 11. Akala ko nga makukuha ko din today pero sa wednesday pa daw. Eh i need it sana for my UK business tourist visa appointment on monday. Bahala na. Dalhin ko na lang yung luma ko na hindi for travel.

^bakit kaya hindi mo nakuha today? masmatagal processing pag ang purpose is for travel abroad? In my experience, piniprint lang naman nila yun sa releasing. as in pag andun ka na, saka ipprint, ganon.

ngayon lang ako nakapag -GT kaya hindi ko nakita yung question mo about parking, i could have suggested what we did, hehe..nagpa-valet parking (free!) kami sa Manila Pavillion, pumasok kami sa casino tapos after a few, labas ulit, hehe

^ lahat yung nakasabay ko feb 22 din ang sabi. Baka ganon na nga ngayon? Binaba lang ako ni M tapos naghintay siya sa nearby mcdo at binalikan ako after. Ok na din.

I have been hearing the same thing from friends na nago-online application... They are asked to come back after X number of days. Ganun din ba ang nangyayari sa mga pumipila ng wagas?

^ - nope, tuloy tuloy ang application basta you have the right documents. at natatapos din that day. tiyaga lang. :-)

^^ depende din. my officemate na pumila, was there at 5am at 1pm natapos, didnt get his clearance on the same day. he had to go back for it after 2 weeks.
