Hello mga sisters... merry xmas and a happy new year sa inyong lahat. I have a question regarding annulment.. My bf petition for annulment was granted last month after 3 years of waiting. We already received the decision. Kapag ganito ba ok na un and it means wala ng habol un ex wife nya sa knya? my bf is now free?

sis mzganda make sure na yung FINAL decision of the judge is registered with the NSO and annotated sa copy ng old marriage certificate ng bf mo. keep a copy of the final decision and the copy of the old marriage certificate where the final decision has been annotated.

Thanks sis sa mga advise... yes will do that... sis un bang final decision at un ang finality ba un? or un decision  mismo na mahabang copy.. or meron pang iba?

^ actually, ang title nung document is ENTRY OF JUDGMENT... parang summary na siya nung decision ng judge. nagkakaron lang ng entry of judgment after ma-publish in a newspaper of general circulation yung decision nung judge at hindi na mag-appeal ang office of the solicitor general. until you get an entry of judgment hindi ka pa makakapagpa-annotate sa NSO. ang makukuha mo sa NSO is a copy of the old marriage certificate with a notation on the side saying declared null and void na nga yung kasal na yun by virtue of the decision of judge so and so on case number so and so.

i also kept all the docs of the annulment proceedings, isang envelop lang naman.

Question: if you were married civilly and sa church and got your marriage annulled can you still remarry sa church? Thanks.

^ Sa pagkakaalam ko sis, hindi. Iba ang church annulment sa civil annulment. There is a different process na sa church ipapagawa.

Yung friend ng husband ko nagpa-church annulment. Pati husband ko pinatawag pa sa isang place sa Manila (si ko maalala name, parang Archbishop's something basta ganun). Ininterview siya ng panel of priests who knew the couple from way back. Pinapadala pa nga ata ito sa Vatican for final approval.

Yes, yung iba Buddhist rites pa kahit hindi Buddhist - basta ma solemnize  ang commitment to each other.

The Catholic Church has its own "courts" or tribunal.   They don't take civil  annulments at face value.  They do their own hearings.  It can happen na civil annulment is ok, but there is no church annulment.
