i ate Nomama Ramen in Nomama Timog tonight. OH MAMA. Amazing. Zooming up to number 1 on my list.

Iba yung lasa ng broth nila. Sabi ng waiter, pork-based daw, pero parang may ibang sangkap. At iba sa mga pork-based ramen broths na natikman ko. Basta, iba sya. Bow. A must-try. Naka-1 and a half (1 large and 1 junior) orders kami ng anak ko.

My daughter (who's 3 years old), nag-comment talaga about the ramen on the way home. ang sarap daw ng kinain namin kanina. hindi naman nagko-comment yun e. so that means it isn't just me! haha.

NagIkkoryu ulit kame last night para itry yung ibang flavors naman, masarap din yun Fuzu Tama (not sure sa spelling pero basta sya yung nasa pinakauna sa menu) surprisingly good din naman medjo spicy.

craving for ramen now after reading all the posts only tried ramen nagi palang since yun yung pinaka accessible sa place namin. i liked their butao king. pati si hubby nagustuhan. looking forward to trying other ramen houses soon!

It's not the best, but Ryu's ramen is pretty decent.

Yushoken for me is the best! tried tamen nagi na pero Yushoken pa din

may ramen nagi na sa SM NORTH! tried the black king and a special seasonal offer (nakalimutan ko na name). masyado yatang mataas expectations ko. nomama and kichitora pa rin ako. sa tantanmen,  Ramen Ron pa rin.

First off, know that I'm not a ramen person. Went to Japan and didn't touch a single bowl.

Anyway, tried Ippudo recently. I waited an hour and 3 minutes (I timed it) in line. It's quicker to get a table if you're dining alone. Service was friendly and efficient. In 18 minutes, I ordered, ate, and paid

I had the Akamaru Tamago. Total bill was Php 450. It was good, but I like Ramen Nagi a bit better for the richer broth. But, for the first time, I managed to finish my noodles.

Ippudo--not also an expert sa Ramen , but because i'm really craving for ramen this weekend, we lined up kanina. Kinda intimidating ang line pero mabilis lang naman (less than an hour) We ordered Shiromaru Chasu Ramen, Akamaru Chasu ramen, Pork Bun, Tori Karaage, Curry Cheese Marumaki and  Ippudo Teppan tonkutsu garlic rice.

Ang sarap ng broth, i find it really delicious and also my kids. We ordered the hard noodles to go with the broth. But i don't like that much yung curry cheese or the karaage. Pork bun is delish naman pero ang thick nung cut ng pork. Medyo mahirap kagatin.
My kids loves naman the Tonkutsu rice and the hello kitty utensils.
Over all, i will to back for the ramen! : )

Lined-up again today sa Ippudo for my ramen fix! Yehey! Masarap pa din. And we also ordered the gyoza. I like the gyoza! yum!😊

Ippudo... Nung pumunta ako, I was alone and there wasn't any diner there (I guess dahil kabubukas lang ng Megamall tapos it's a weekday pa), so sige I took this opportunity and tried their Shiromaru Special and gyoza.

I liked the broth (since malasa sya and it's not salty at the same time) and the texture of their noodles -- I ordered the noodles extra hard and chewy talaga sya, mafi-feel mo talaga na hindi nila sinadya na gawin syang kulang sa luto just to say that it's "katame". Kaso I feel that adding the chashu and tamago wasn't worth it. Okay naman ang gyoza, chewy yung wrapper but the taste of the filling was a bit forgettable for me.

I feel na mostly food trip ang gagawin ko when I get to Japan someday hahahaha =))

I only went to two places that serve ramen on my Manila trip, staying at Eastwood for a month (see below). I would not try them again for sure. I will try to go to Little Tokyo next time.

UCC Cafe - run out of Tonkotsu so I had the chicken based one. Very light but that was it, no umami. I always go to this place anyway for their bangus/tinapa breakfast which I love with extra order of salted egg and tomato, the coffee and tiramisu. Parang instant broth, but I had better instant ramen. Noisy ambience lang, favorite place of people doing their shady businesses (You should hear their conversations). Never order ramen again from a place that does not specialise from it.

Ramen Bar - had their no. 1 ramen. Big serving but the broth is not that tasty, just a hint of the pork and the soy. Noodles are okay, chewy. I thought the staff got angry with me. hehe! I sent it back because the noodles were very long. First pick up with the chopsticks lahat ng noodles sumama maski pinaghihiwalay ko na, talagang mahaba. I only asked them to be cut reasonably but what they did was cut it into very small length. I did not complain because I know I'm not coming back. I had better instant ramen.

Visited Ramen Santouka sa Trinoma.
Na-realize ko sa SANTOUKA, isa lang ang favorite namin sa kanya. Yung bestseller nilang Pork Chasyu Ramen. Yung Miso Ramen nilang mala-tantanmen sa anghang, not even close to their bestseller pagdating sa lasa. isa lang talaga ang dadayuhin mo sa kanila.

Pero worth it naman. Mas okay ang Santouka nila sa Trinoma kesa sa Greenhills. We went on a sunday, walang pila. Maganda yung lugar. We were seated comfortably and the service was nice. at yung ramen, SARAAP. Young pork ang ginamit :-)

service: good pero mas energetic mga staff sa Ramen Nagi.
ramen: we had the KARAKA-MEN, with tamago. noodle of choice is extra firm. we also had TEPPAN TONKOTSU SPICY RICE WITH NIKUMISO.

my friend and i enjoyed the ramen, but we are expecting more coz of the hype. we both agreed we loved Ramen and Ikkoryu more. to each his own talaga siguro..

We just tried Ramen Nagi, so far lumevel naman sya sa Yushoken which is our all time favorite. Days after nakita namin may Hanamaruken sa ATC (medjo tago kasi yung location) so we tried and it was surprisingly good. So bagong favorite na din namin to!

Ippudo, baka hindi ko to itry kasi we know somene who's a ramen lover like us and he tried recently lang pero hindi pumasa sa kanya okay naman daw pero hindi worth the long line. l But who knows baka pag natyempuhan ko na walang pila we'll see.
