I saw this article of the top 10 ramen places in Manila as rated by a japanese ramen consultant and goal ko matry lahat. so far been to 6 out of 10 pa lang.

In Manila I’d say it’s a tie between Ukkokei Ramen Ron and Shinjuku Ramen House in Little Tokyo. Succeeded by Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen at Shangri-La Plaza and Ramen Bar in Eastwood

If you have a chance to visit Japan, your experience won’t be complete without paying a visit to a Ramen Jiro branch ha-ha! Makasalanan ang tonkotsu shoyu ramen doon. Kaka-miss my pre-vegetarian days

It's still Ukokkei for me.Just had my bowl of ramen yesterday here and it was sooo good

I like Shinjuku Ramen (lil tokyo). Fave ko yung shoyu-based ramen nila tapos may kasamang gyoza... yum

Meron kaming ramen place na pinupuntahan ni hubby palagi near Makati Cinema Square. Forgot lang the name of the place. Every time we eat there meron kaming nakakasabay na mga Japanese kaya we know pasado sa lasang hapon yung ramen nila.

Recently we tried this place at Glorietta 4, Hokkaido Ramen Santouka, masarap din yung ramen nila. Comparable din yung food nila with our favorite ramen place at MCS. Mas mahal lang ng konti yung prices sa Glorietta.

Actually, nung nagresearch ako about ramen recipe, medyo naintindihan ko na kung bakit mahal sya. Hindi pala sya basta-basta pinapakuluan lang, more or less 10 hours sya sini-simmer (as explained in these ramen articles) tsaka nililinisan talaga yung buto-buto so it'd come out milky white. (I am referring to those with creamy milky white tonkotsu ramen broth) =))

I tried Mu Noodle Bar at Glorietta, Beef Ramen in Milk broth, masarap sya ah. I wanted to try yung Mu Tan Mien nila, kaso maanghang sya para sa anak ko. Pero yung pagkasarap nya, di ko pa rin sya maihanay with Ukkokei, Wrong Ramen, Yushoken.

mama squeak! sis, Shinjuku ba yan? Gusto ko din yan authentic talaga kasi isa sa mga pioneer na jap resto though ang dame na kasi talagang bago ngayon. Btw I tried Ikkoryu and Ramen Kuroda this week okay naman, Kuroda is good pero Yushoken parin talaga ako. Ikkoryu naman we tried 3 kinds and so far black garlic tonkotsu ang pinakamasarap, may kakaibang lasa sya for me.

Tried Ramen NAGI, I ordered Butao and my husband ordered the Red one, he liked it so much! Nagi is now is no. 1 in the list, nasarapan din ako, pero dahil ni-serve sa akin na hindi ako napaso sa init ng sabaw, ihehelera ko lang sya kay Wrong Ramen at kay Ukkokei.

^ i had the one with wagyu steak. Not sure if it's still on the menu but it was soo good! Namahalan lang ako at P500+ pero sulit hehe. Other ramens on the menu range from P200-P300.

gusto ko ring bigyan ng 2nd chance yung hanamaruken, kasi tinakeout ko ng happy ramen (?) nila dati, hindi ko masyadong nagustuhan.

Im craving for Ramen tonight!  Have you guys tried Ajisen Ramen at Connecticut GH? Sarap kaya doon?  Or saan pa ba masarap?

Pumila nanaman kame sa Yushoken nung weekend at syempre super satiosfied nanaman this is still my number 1. Aside sa vintage jap resto na Shinjuku, next is Nagi and Ikkoryu. Pwede ko na din isama ang Ramen Kuroda kasi masarap din naman and medjo mas mura sya.
