all about RAMEN

we tried Wrong Ramen, Ikkoryu and Hokkaido Santouka... para sa amin ng husband ko, Wrong Ramen pa rin ang #1, we are eyeing to try the one in Molito Alabang yung Ramen Yushoken.

^^i reall dont like teriyaki boys ramen. para nalang syang instant noodles for me. pero dati fave ko sya eh, siguro kasi nakatikim ako ng authentic ramen when we went to SG.

Ayun, bukas na pala ang Ramen Nagi sa MoA, after a looong wait haha. I find the noodles soggy kahit kaseserve pa lang and the broth too oily. And medyo turn-off sa akin yung kailangan mo pa mag-order for your seaweed, ajitsuke tamago and other veggies unlike sa iba na even at the same price nandun na lahat ng veggies and the egg. Pero in fairness you can choose how salty you want your tonkotsu soup to be.

Ordered the Midori O (Green king), hard noodles.

kichitora- really good one of my favorite masyado lang creamy yung soup kaya i feel bloated after eating
Hokkaido-okay din similar to kichitora. try to visit yung sa GH branch mas okay luto dun compared sa moa and glorietta
ukokkei- super yummy! pero super bad customer service masyado silang mayabang kaya nakakawalng gana kumain.
ryu-overhype kasi artista may ari. for me parang ordinary noodle soup lang ng mga chinese resto
wrong ramen- very promising first time ko natry last wkend okay naman siya. yun nga lang not your typical ramen
nomama- okay din yung ramen yun nga lang masyado oily yung soup.

Sa lahat ng natry ko  mapamahal or mura, pinipilahan or hindi, Ramen Yushoken is the best for me so far.

I like the ramen served in UCC Cafe, Ryu Ramen and Curry and in Oishinbou. They have big servings and really tasty ramen. I didn't enjoy the RBS ramen in Ramen Bar. I find it overrated and overpriced. The ramen in Tokyo Tokyo is okay.

kichitora. dadayo ako ng mandaluyong para lang kumain dun. kung bukas na yung nirerenovate na branch sa mega atrium.

kung hindi, susubukan namin yung ikkoryu fukuoka. may isang nega review kasi akong narinig from a friend. but i'd like to see for myself.

tried hanamaruken in trinoma, medyo naooverate ata sa utak ko. masarap sya pero mas masarap pa rin for me ang kichitora. the rich sabaw makes all the difference for me. will make a decent review of it in my blog one of these days.

Not a big fan of ramen but I really loved the breakfast ramen at Wrong Ramen so now I'm gonna go and try all the other ramen places you girls have suggested, gonna try the one at alabang also since I'm from the south

I've tried kenji tei ramens pero i forgot the names. One was spicy na may hardboiled egg at may pork. It was yummy. Then the other one was not spicy. Seafood ang laman. It was okay but i put chili powder para umanghang kasi boring. Then i tried sa little tokyo, i forgot yung store. Yung first store pagpasok na famous for ramen. My experience there was good too but i don't know how authentic ramen tastes like kaya di ko alam paano ire-rate. Maybe i am not that into ramen kaya medyp forgettable ang mga natry kong ramen

So far, I've tried:

Ikkoryu Fokuka Ramen - their ramen borders the oily side, though it doesn't bother me at all. Broth is very malinamnam and I order my noodles hard para kahit mababad hindi masyado nagiging soggy

Hokkaido Ramen Santouka - I have heard and read many good things about their ramen, but sadly hindi ko sya nagustuhan

Ramen Bar - One of my go-to ramen places!

Wrong Ramen

Meron akong natikman na instant ramen. Kainis lang hindi ko napicturan! Pasalubong lang sakin ng mom ni bf when she visited japan. Hindi narin niya matandaan kung ano yung binigay niya sakin. hahaha naghuhulaan tulay kami kung ano yun.

may natikman din kami, sis. binili ko sa Daiso Japan store. yung flavors nya, names ng mga lugar sa Japan. nagustuhan namin yung "okinawa" flavor. hehe.

Kumain kahapon ng lunch sa ramen nagi sm aura, ang daming tao buti na lang nakakuha pa kami ng table for 5. I ordered butao king, this was my very first ramen, and i liked it a lot. The soup was not oily at all yet very tasty and the noodles were just right. I also got chicken karaage, pero sana hindi na lang kasi busog na busog na ako sa butao king hehe.

my most recent favorite: ULTIMATE RAMEN from North Park! For the price (around P270!), ihahanay ko 'to sa kichitora. ang daming sahog (beef, pork, mushroom, veggies, hakaw, etc). pero noodles pa lang, grabe. ulam na. :-)
