We liked the ramen - black garlic for my husband and Ajitama for me - ramen at Ikkorya Fukuoka Ramen at Shang East Wing.   :).

Hi! I love ramen. Actually No! I love japanese food. So far isa lang ang binabalikan kong restaurant  for ramen. It's Sakura Japanese Restaurant and Groceries located in G4 , 2nd floor. After I taste their ramen, I never tried or even think of trying other ramen lalo na sa mga japanese food chains. Sooobrang alat, not worth every cent kung ganun ang lasa.

^^sis marose17, same orders tayo sis. Ajitama for hubby tapos Black Garlic naman sa akin. Hubby liked his Ajitama. Di ko naman type yung Black Garlic, and we both find it salty. We ate at SM Aura branch.

^ I tasted my husband's black garlic ramen.  Okay lang naman ang saltiness level for me.

What I found salty and bordering on nakakaumay is the ramen at Santouka in Glorietta.

Ate again at ikkoryu fukuoka ramen, not so nice na yung orders (black garlic ramen, gyoza etc.) namin. Siguro kasi ang daming tao lalo na pag weekends kaya yung quality di consistent.

so far, i've tried santouka and ukkokei! both are great! also love wrong ramen! it's unique and everyone should try their FU Ramen - ramen with eggs, spam, and bacon!  :)

So far, ang Top Three ko are:

1. Ajitama Tonkotsu of Ikkoryu Fukuoka (Shang and Rockwell)
2. Tokusen Toroniku of Santuoka Hokkaido (Glorietta)
3. Shoyu Tonkotsu of Yushoken (Molito Alabang)

Nadaanan ko Ikkoryu Fukuoka sa Shang a few days ago, though we didn't eat there. Hm, curious ako sa ramen nila.

Masarap talaga sa Ikkoryu Fukuoka. Nahilig na ko sa Ramen since we visited their restaurant in SM Aura.

fave ko pa rin santouka ramen. they have this new ramen na mix of salt and soy base for the soup. sobrang sarap pati yung noodles, i like the texture di mashado manipis/makapal.  :)

I can say na umaalat talaga ang soup tsaka lumalata ang noodles pag tumatagal; I forgot that I had to eat it all up as fast as possible. X_X

Pero nung third na punta ko I slurped it real fast kaso nagulat boyfie ko kasi nawala daw poise ko. And one thing na maganda sa mga authentic ramen shops is that I can order my noodles hard or "katame".

Hubby and I were underwhelmed by the ramen at Shinjuku along Katipunan Blue Ridge.  Excited pa naman kami.  Hindi masarap!  Mabuti na lang the gyoza was quite good.

I hope when Butao opens here, it would be as good as it is in HK
Pinakamahal na ramen na kinain KO, about 600-700 yun meal but worth it :)

Ippudo is also good, but nothing beats Buta

My Japanese boss recommends Mitsuyado Sei-Men in Makati.

^ That's one of the better ramens I've had.  The noodles are made fresh daily too.
