Agreed that Majestic ham isn't what they used to be. I still buy their ham bits though for soup and toppings.

I had try joy's ham, didn't like it, bitin ang lasa.

I got to try excellente over the weekend. Someone gave me 1/4 of their ham and 1/4 of their bacon. The ham was good, while the bacon was too sweet.

We bought two kinds of chinese ham last year. One from Adelina's and another one from Excellente. Yung Adelina's matigas and parang dry while yung Excellente naman is so yummy and juicy. My vote still goes to Excellente. Hassle lang bumili nito. Kahit super aga namin pumila ang dami parin nauuna samin. Parang sale lang ng S&R..

Kakabili ko lang ng Adelina's ulit this weekend and I'm disapponted. Bakit ang tigas na niya? hmmph.  last year naman ok yung nabili namin.

^Ako din, i find Adelina's matigas and dry. try Excellente sis, kahit hindi Holiday season we buy Ham from them and same taste pa rin.. I love it sobra.. natakam tuloy ako.. by the way, i love slicing my ham and cheese into cubes tapos papak lang while watching tv.. haaay, sarap! nag crave tuloy ako ngayon

^We've been buying from Adelina's ever since I was young and this was the first time I was disappointed. Last year kasi bumili pa kami ng ham for the holidays pero di siya matigas. Yung nabili ko ngayon matigas talaga. The taste is the same pero nag-lessen na yung "sarap factor" niya dahil matigas nga. Ewan ko lang baka mali yung napili ko, kasi it was always my dad or my aunt who buys at Adelina's. First time ko kasi na bumili by myself, madalas kasi kasama ko sila pag bumibili kami.

I bought Adelina's nung Sunday yung unsliced and boneless. Okay naman hindi naman matigas.

Most favorite ham ko Excellente din. Will buy tomorrow miss ko na kasi. Pag malapit na pasko will buy again ng pang pasko and another for New Year.

Had 2 hams for Christmas and new year na. Ordered from michelle dee. Searched top 1 ham in the metro kasi sa spot.ph and sya yung #1 kaya dinayo namin sya sa forbes kahit malayo. Verdict, definitely will not go out my way that much next Christmas. Balik excellente na lang ako.

ang sarap nga ng Excellente ham. Every Christmas kasi, ang ham lang namen eh yung nabibili na agad sa mall (purefoods, CDO), nagkataon may nagbigay sa amin ng Excelente, sarap talaga..

Next Christmas, mag-qqiapo na ako para dun na bumili.

just going to get some ham from the grocery siguro.  As far as I have read, mukhang Purefoods Fiesta Ham ang choice ng karamihan.  any other brands na ok?
