Cavite Wedding (not in Tagaytay Area) *Part 2*

My wedding will be in Silang, Cavite, on May 15, 2015 (next month!) but none of us grew up from there   It just so happened that my mother met the sister-in-law of the owner of Alta Veranda de Tibig, so that's where we're holding our reception because the place is just so nice   They're constructing the pavilion now which can accommodate up to 500 guests, and their rate includes the drapings   They have a poolside area now too which can accommodate up to 500 guests as well, and it's really beautiful! My reception is lunch time nga lang so I opted for the indoor venue (pavilion) with air-conditioning.  Alta Veranda also has a cabana which has a bridal suite -- it can fit your entire entourage overnight! 

We started from there and looked for the nearest church, i.e., St. Benedict Parish (Ayala Westgrove Heights).

We also booked rooms at Microtel by Wyndham South Forbes, and a house for rent in Nuvali.

We negotiated with suppliers to waive OOT charges--so far, we're paying an OOT charge only for Flipbooks.

All the other suppliers waived OOT charges or come from Tagaytay / Cavite / Laguna area so they don't really have OOT charge for Silang:

Photo&Video - CD Worx
HMUA - Danny Capistrano
Florist - Diana's Flower Shop (Dangwa)
OTD Coordinators - my ninongs and they won't charge me anything

Hi sisses! How is the weather in Silang for late December? My wedding will be this Dec 30 and a bit concerned ako whether it will actually be cold there or not, because hindi naman sya sa Tagaytay exactly? My cocktails start at 3:30pm and I am guessing na unless the weather is cool na by then, it will still be sweaty hot until around 5pm. I am thinking of giving away shawls as souvenirs to the females, so I will really need to predict this correctly...

I attended a wedding in St. Benedict last January and it was sooo hot pa around 3-4:30pm as in Manila weather na sweaty and humid. Tapos sa reception naman nila in Tagaytay it was soo cold na starting 5:30pm.

Hoping there is a better way of predicting Silang weather!!

Hi sis sparkling jewel, we did  our ocular on the same date last year, and one of the places we visited was Angelfields.  During that time, it was about early morning to about 3 pm. The weather was cool, not biting.  The sun was out but it was alright.  But since open space ang Angelfields, with lots of trees around, so the place may get chillier as the sun sets.

Yay thanks for the feedback sis! Super worried ako baka mainit pala sa Silang. I would rather chilly than hot kasi expected naman yung malamig. We want to have that as part of the experience actually para masulit punta nila dun. So i guess itutuloy ko na hunt for a shawl supplier!

For wedding gown, try Ms.Nerie Vedana from Lucsuhin, Silang. Sobrang galing and affordable pa!
40k lang gown ko pero mukhang 140k  panalo! hehe

for HMU, try Ms. Lani Isip. She is from Silang, Cavite so no OOT fee. Boracay based na sya ngayon pero lagi din daw umuuwi ng Silang. 17k for hair and airbrush makeup bride plus 2 with retouch na tapos 1,500 per entourage na traditional makeup. Ok din assistant nya Sharie Anahaw from Silang din.

for photography, try Fotographia Manalo. FB search nyo na lang din. bago pa lang sila pero ok din works at affordable pa. Was able to get ours at 50k lang!

hi sis,email sent. yes elizabeth hall reception namin at may bagong ginagawa sa elizabeth hall sa gilid sabi nung may ari by december gawa na daw yun mukhang maganda pag natapos yun ok siya pang picture picture hehe. nag food tasting kami nung February busog na busog kami and totoong masarap talaga food and may kasal din nung time na yun kaya medyo nakakuha din ako ng idea. kinuha namin yung dinner buffet with cocktail. visit ulit kami sa balay para finalize talaga medyo hindi kasi kami nakausap nun kasi may wedding busy sila so next punta namin yung wala ng kasal para mas masikaso kami ng mabuti =) enjoy!
