just got my Solo Parent ID last week and had a free consultation narin with a lawyer regarding my case

I asked kung valid ba marriage namin or pwede ba ma-void kasi nga I don't have a marriage license plus the fact na nakalagay ako sa Art. 34 which means I have been living with my ex for 5yrs (which is not true). He said valid iyan but you cannot void it even if it is not true na 5yrs kayo nagsama kasi anjan na yung evidence sa marriage certificate that you signed and agreed to it :( whether you knew it that time or not, doesn't matter anymore, kasi I signed it :(

So erased na itong potential na dahilan ko sana for me to have the marriage void :(
Annulment nalang talaga katapat nito backed-up with the abuse I experienced..

By the way, your lawyer is wrong.  Your signing the marriage certificate or agreement to the marriage does not make the marriage any less void. You have to follow the law, you can't set a provision aside dahil gusto niyo.  As for evidence, there are always other ways to show that you haven't been living together, e.g. testimonies of witnesses.

thanks!

Hi sis.. Clarification lang, he is not my lawyer.. He was just the lawyer who gave me the affidavit of solo parent that time when I was getting the solo parent ID. Since andun na siya, I just asked his opinion. Anyway, I am still looking at other lawyer's advise aside from that one and I do believe that testimonies and  real other evidence such as receipts, etc can be used as evidence that I was somewhere else and not with my husband.. As contrary to that art.34 :)

1986 po [textspeak!] first marriage when my mother was still 16-17yrs old.
Valid.  Under the new civil code 14 yata ang age when women can enter into marriage.  The Family Code came into effect only in 1988.

Thank you in advance!!!  :)

^ kahit anong letter regarding sa hiwalaya nila, hindi valid. the only valid document you'll need na hiwalay na sila is through annulment. otherwise, hindi irerecognize ng state yang letter na yan and ang alam ko pa nga bawal sa annulment ang may connivance or yung pareho nilang gusto na magpa annul. i always hear this case sa radyo so you cna always ask a lawyer for their legal advice

Read something about someone about a questioned NSO document.  As used to be in that office ay let me share some baho.  Even today may mga ewan pa rin whom you can pay to doctor the documents.  And kung hindi directly ay pwede magawaan ng paraan indirectly as long as may mabuting usapan na magaganap.

A friend is questioning yun case ng mom and dad niya.  Kasal iyon but matagal na silang hiwalay.  Mom got involved with someone else sa US.  By weird laws nila ay considered husband and wife na.  But here syempre we do not recognize that.

I will not share how this can be done but it is still very possible provided you have the means and motive.  In fact may major issue ngayon sa NSO (na PSA na today) na yayanig sa buong office nila.

We look for the real thing in friends, products and services. In people, we value sincerity more than almost any other virtue.
