Hi mga sis! I was able to buy DG's Crosswind Suites deal, so go kami dun next month. Plan ko na itinerary is Tagaytay 2D1N then beach kami sa Laiya. Feasible kaya, pano way namin, labas kami sa SLEx diba, then from there StarToll...hmm...hirap magplano! Baka mapagod din 4-month old baby. Eh kung mag Nuvali na lang kami kaya....may accommodations ba near that? TIA

u dont have to go back to slex na sis. may daan na from tagaytay straight to batangas. I think its the round going to sonya's garden. kasi may nakita ako buses to batangas nung nag sonya's kami before.

Pa nasugbu kasi yun sis, mapapalayo pa ata. Not sure if may new routes to laiya via nasugbu.

Yun din sana comment ko hehe, kung gusto niyo talaga mag beach nasugbu might be more convenient, though not as pretty as laiya. Or just stay somewhere in tagaytay with a pool.

Not a baby expert but I remember medyo rough road yung last few miles to laiya

we went to tagaytay last dec 8-9 and stayed at keni po. maganda ang room namin at may bathtub pa.

sisses, nagpareserve na ko sa keni po for dec.26. how can I get there fron caluruega, from manila kasi derecho kami dun since maaga pa, then san din maganda maglunch before kami mag check in?

Last year nagtagaytay kami ng family Christmas day, expect super super heavy heavy trafik. Talagang di gumagalaw mga sasakyan.hehe

we were there nung Sunday. Traffic around tagaytay and its not that cold. SUper quick trip lang bought meat lang sa Mahogany then lunch tapos balik na manila.

Just came back from a 2day/1night stay here. Sharing some info for reference:

Keni Po fully booked so we checked in sa 5R, kapit bahay ng Keni Po. Place is so-so. No cable channel (boohoo!), with wifi and pool. You have to walk lang ng malayo papuntang pool! Bathroom is kinda small and not so clean. Owners are kind, they charged both my BB and iPhone for free pero the place isn't really that great. Am i going to come back? Nope, unless unplanned and fully booked halos lahat ng place.

Although i usually get my bulalo fix from Mahogany, due to some raves, i tried Leslie's. Well, it's like Gerry's/Dencio's lang, nothing special. Will always go back to Mahogany.... Tried Bag of Beans for the first time and i agree with the reviews! Huge servings ang food!

Shopping, we went to robinson's tiangge, dami great buys! Fam bed sheets na microfiber, 500 lang! Overruns here are quite cheap... Shempre, we can't leave tagaytay without visiting the market. Bought almost 10kg of beef (mura kasi), fruits and veg.

Next trip, i'll try fire grill (fully booked kasi) and java cafe!

Nothing beats Mahogany Market's Bulalo! I super love tagaytay.

Andun kami kahapon, dun kami nagsimba sa Ina ng Laging Saklolo... Grabe ang traffic! After ng mass, punta kami bag of beans, slow moving din ang traffic. Nung pauwi, may uba kami dinaanan, medyo liblib, nakakatakot. Bandang Silang na ang lusot nung short slash long cut na yun. hehe

We spent New Year's eve in Villa Ibarra. Enjoy yung two kids na kasama namin

First of all, surprisingly no traffic or crowding anywhere! Nakakatuwa.

Dec 31 am bfast buffet at bag of beans, hindi puno! Relaxed lang.

Maraming restos na nagclose na for dinner, buti we reserved sa RSM which is walking distance sa hotel. Mabagal ang service pero ok naman ang food for the price. Sulit yung bulalo for 500php since served hot, may flame pa. Dami pang laman and super lambot ng beef. staff are also friendly and in holiday mood.

No fireworks at Villa Ibarra pero everywhere else meron! Even the house across the street sa may Petron. Yung LAHAT ng areas around the lake may firework umiilaw surrounding the lake talaga. Unique view for new year

Lunch today, we checked out then went to residence inn zoo. No traffic uli! Tapos marami rami tao sa zoo but not too crowded naman.

We left 130 from.residence inn, cubao na ko by 430 . P.s. I took bus from residence inn.

Sorry for the super late reply, yes P109 for one cup of extra rice sa Lee Boutique.

^talaga?? grabe! it's still beyond comprehension for me. i would never tolerate that kind of rip-off! mas mahal pa ang extra rice nila sa ibang mamahaling restaurants! the most na yata na alam ko eh P60 for a cup of plain rice. grabe, siguro kung andun ako, tapos sinabi nilang P109 ang extra rice, sasabihin ko sa kanila, "huwaaat?! no thanks!", tapos i'll pay the bill then walk-out, at kumain na lang sa iba kung gutom pa, hahaha.

^grabe nga. BF didn't check the price on the menu kasi extra rice lang naman and that's the only extra we ordered since free ang breakfast. Ayun nagulat na lang kami sa bill. Pero overall, okay naman stay namin sa Lee Boutique, hindi na lang kami kumain ulit sa resto nila ulit haha!

I love Lee Boutique's rooms :-) hindi nga lang masyado masarap yung breakfast nila pero ok na rin since its libre naman :-)
