Made a booking with airphils last feb 2012 for our November trip to Bohol last year. A few days before the trip, our flight was transferred to PAL. Whenever they make changes naman diba you have an option to push thru, refund or re sched your trip so ok 3/10 pushed thru and 7/10 backed out so malinaw na refund yun. Until now i haven't received a single centavo =(

^did you communicate with them about the refund for the 7/10 passengers before your flight date? kasi if not, di mo na talaga marerefund yun kasi icconsider nilang "flown" yun slots if di ka naman nag advise ng refund request beforehand.

yes sis lakwatsa. when they sent an email that our flight will be changed, i immediately asked my travel mates and when they decided not to go thats when i called airphils. I spent 2+ hours on the phone (i was out of town and using my cellphone to call their landline so imagine my phone bill!  ) just to make it clear that 7/10 pax will not travel and asked for a refund. 2 months after our trip I called to ask whats taking so long for me to get my money back, they said i have to wait so i waited.. i called again after 2 months, wait pa din daw. tumawag ulit after 2 months, wait pa din. Tumawag ulit after a month, hala! iba iba na sagot, tawagan ko daw ang bank ko, yung isa di na daw pwede, yung isa di nya alam! Eh nakakaloka na so right now, I asked for the help of my lawyer. I'll keep you guys posted =)

Nag ssale pa ba ang airphil express? I used to remember yung ibang previous flights ko usually mura ko lang nakukuha online. Ngayon kasi everytime I checked their website sobrang mahal ng airfares nila.

^i just booked pal express flights manila-caticlan for january travel, promo rate. it amounted to P2,157/pax. had to add P400/pax kasi for baggage allowance.

^ano travel period mo sis? Good deal na yan sis.. ako nag booked nung sept 18 for jan2014 din. 899 base fare ko.. ngayon when I checked 288 lang..

naccompare ko kasi pag sa PAL mismo nagbook, yun budget economy fare type ng PAL e walang FBA. nakakaconfuse tuloy kung sa PAL Express ba meron FBA. hmmm...

ano yung refund fee ng PALexpress? I'm trying to book for 4 sa Laoag sa January. around 18k-20k. Mukhang wala ng lalabas na promo eh.

naccompare ko kasi pag sa PAL mismo nagbook, yun budget economy fare type ng PAL e walang FBA. nakakaconfuse tuloy kung sa PAL Express ba meron FBA. hmmm...

i booked a promo fare with pal express recently, travel to caticlan for january 2014, there was no free baggage allowance. i had to call and add baggage allowance, there's a fee of P200 one way i think.

^oh nose! ayun nga sis e. wala man lang kasi nakalagay dun sa terms and conditions nun fare pag ni-click mo. kahit anong fare type di lumalabas yun FBA info. difference lang na nakikita ko e refundable yun isang fare type (yun mas mahal). tapos pag naman somewhere sa site nila mismo. nakasulat lang FBA 10kg then mga fees for excess baggage. kalito much!

^i believe all flights implied na yung allowance for handcarry. i was referring to check-in of baggage.

eto kasi yun una ko nakita kaya nakakalito kasi di naman nakaspecify na di sya applicable for all fare types:

^thanks. dati nga kasi, even our promo fares had the 10 kilo free baggage allowance. ngayon wala na.

parang mali lang yung label na "EXCESS BAGGAGE FEE(From Manila) per Kilo"  na P200, kasi it's P200 for 10 kilos. at least that's what we paid for our 10 kilos baggage allowance.

^oo nga e. dati nga 15kg pa FBA nila di ba. then yun caticlan ang 10kg.

i think tama lang sis kasi para yun sa mga sumobra pa sa 10kg na check in allowance. so 200/kg na yun babayaran in excess. ang mahal hehe.

pano mo pala pina add yun 10kg mo? tinawag mo lang then pano yun charging nun 200 na fee? thru cc?

^yup, i just called the hotline, and then through credit card. after that when i checked my e-ticket, nag-reflect na agad yung baggage allowance.
