Sisses, good news. may flight na ang airphil to Batanes starting May 1, 2013.. =) yehey...

Bad news. Airphil cancels flight from Clark-PPS, Clark-Kalibo at iba pang route from Clark. Kainis kung hindi pa ko nag-check at magdadagdag sana ng isa pang passenger eh hindi ko malalaman, muntik na sanang mapurnada vacation namin sa Palawan this March. Buti naagapan pa at nailipat departing from Manila.

Sa mga may booked na Airphil flights diyan departing from Clark. I-check nyo na baka may flight changes nang naganap.

Grrrrrrr  I got call from Airphil sira na naman Itinerary ko ...Hongkong Clark namin. Last year ganyan din nangyari sa Boracay namin. Di na talaga ako uulit sa Airphil. super nakakainis na talaga.

^ Sis temporarily unavailable daw yong route nila Clark - Hongkong, nag email na ako sa online support nila and I'm really complaining with this hassle changes. Hopefully maayos nila yong request flight schedule ko. HK - MLa na pabalik namin via PAL na ata..but I need the final Booking Itenarary bago ako ma-relax.

hay, hindi ko talaga ma-r-recommend yung airphil. unless ok lang sayo malipat-lipat ng flight sched at tumambay sa airport ng matagal.

yung recent trip ko to boracay with my friends, iba-iba kami ng schedule papunta, lahat nagkaproblem - either rescheduled or cancelled or delayed. nung pauwi naman, wala kahit isa sa mga flights ng airphil from caticlan na on time. lahat either delayed, cancelled, or diverted to kalibo. sobrang hassle.

Airphil Express rebrands as ‘PAL Express’

Further strengthening its alliance with Philippine Airlines (PAL), Airphil Express is undergoing a major transformation by improving and aligning its service standards and product offerings with the flag carrier.

Reflecting this change, Airphil Express will rebrand itself as “PAL Express” effective March 15, 2013. All Airphil Express planes will use the familiar “sunriser” PAL livery and logo on its tail and fuselage.

Side by side with the rebranding will be a total enhancement of customer experience as PAL Express ensures that customers receive the best quality service that each carrier has been known for.

With the rebranding, PAL Express passengers will now enjoy complimentary snacks, drinks and reading materials on board and other amenities previously enjoyed only by passengers of full service carriers like PAL. Passengers of PAL Express can also earn miles through their membership in Mabuhay Miles.

“It’s not just a name change, but an alignment of two standards into one. With this rebranding, PAL and PAL Express will be full service carriers in terms of service, but LCC in terms of managing costs,” PAL President Ramon S. Ang said.

Once the transformation is complete, PAL Express will have the same service standards as PAL, a strong 72 year-old brand recognized as one of the country’s most prominent corporate institutions. The objective is to deliver enhanced customer experience in all touchpoints both on ground and inflight.

Despite the rebranding, PAL and PAL Express will remain distinct and independent airline companies but following a single service standard. All PAL flights will be manned by PAL pilots and cabin crew, while PAL Express flights will be operated by Airphil Express pilots and flight attendants.

Both airlines will also maintain their respective websites – www.philippineairlines.com and www.flypalexpress.com as well as hotline numbers (02)8558888 for PAL and (02)8559000 for PAL Express.

For seamless alignment of service standards, PAL and PAL Express frontliners like cabin crew, airport customer service agents (CSAs), ticket office agents and contact center service agents are undergoing continuous training. Policies, procedures and standards of the two airlines are also being aligned.

nun nabasa ko yan news i decided to check yun booking ko with them this apr. nagulat naman ako sa manage my booking, "FLOWN" na yun status nun original flight ko tapos nalipat sa earlier flight. pero wala naman ako narereceive na email notification or text message para dun.

^sis lakwatsa, just call and inform them that you are not aware of this.  Libre ang rebooking mo kung meron ka mas type na day and time.  worked for me before.  Serve this as yor advantage.

^ganyan na nga ginawa ko sis. confirmed na nalipat kami ng flight. libre naman daw rebook nga pero ok na ko dun sabi ko at pinasend ko na lang yun bagong email itinerary. ayun mabilis naman nasend sa kin.

Airphil has the worst customer service. Their Customer Care is CARELESS. Don't try booking tickets online lalo na kung credit card ang gagamitin niyo dahil sasakit lang ang ulo niyo. Mismong ambassador ng Airphil dito sa Malaysia ang nagsabe na madaming nagkakaproblema sa system nila pag credit card ang gamit. Since yesterday morning, I have been sending emails to their customer care and online support but no one has given me a proper response. Morning pa lang yesterday, nagsesend na ako ng emails. I got their first response at 6pm last night only to see the famous line "We apologize for the inconvenience" without addressing all my rants and concerns. Until now, wala pa din akong naririnig sa kanila. The promo for MNL-KL flight is over and yung ticket na na-book ko was cancelled. Wala na akong chance para mahabol pa yung ticket na na-cancel nila dahl sa bulok na system nila.

This is almost embarrassing to admit, pero nag-book na naman ako ng airphil despite yung napakadami ko issues with them. Emergency kasi, I had to go home sa pinas to attend a funeral, so biglaan na booking and sila yung may pinakamaagang flight, and shempre I wanted to be home ASAP.

I booked one day before, checked my itinerary and ticket right before nung flight. Tapos when i got to the airport, hindi nila ma-issue yung boarding pass ko kasi daw "void" yung payment ko. And they called me daw to inform TWO DAYS BEFORE. Eh ni hindi ko pa nga na-book yung ticket ko diba. Tapos yung person sa counter hindi daw AirPhil staff at wala daw magagwa.

Tumawag ako sa bank ko sabi naman wala daw transaction, cancelled or otherwise, from AirPhil.

So medyo crayola pa ako sa airport kasi medyo nakaka-stress lang na uuwi na nga ako at makikipaglibing tapos may ganito pa. I ended up buying a ticket for CebuPac sa airport mismo.

Tapos malaman-laman ko, two days after, aba, nag-charge ang AirPhil sa credit card ko! Grabe lang. Tumawag ako sa customer service, wala din daw sila magagawa kasi "treasury department" daw may handle nun. So nag-email ako. Ang unang reply sakin, sabi pag daw no-show, hindi talaga i-r-refund yung ticket. Grabeng high blood talaga inabot ko. Until now nakikipag-away pa din ako. Sobrang stress lang. Hay, never again.

^^naku pag cc payment nga problematic yun booking process. nun nagbook din ako ng Legazpi ticket namin ilang beses lagi error pag cc payment. Kesyo i-clear ko daw cache ng browser ko, try other browser, etc. Ang ending nagbayad na lang ako sa 7-11.

^hala ang weird naman sis. ang hassle nyan. =/

for this year, iniwasan ko na magbook sa airphil. delikado eh. sume-second honor sya sa zestair sa mga horror stories.

^^^ sis littlemissbiatch, ipost mo yung nangyare sayo sa fb page ng Airphil Express para ma-action agad. yung sa reklamo ko d ko sila tinitigilan. maya't maya nagfa-follow up ako. yung nasa FB page nila maayos naman kausap. mabagal lang talaga yung Customer Care nila at sobrang hassle talaga yung treasury department nila. good luck sis.
