ay kaloka tong si say. nakaka bad vibe at nakaka stupid vlogs niya. seriously,tinder? then may post pa siyang inaayos niya printer niya at frustrated na siya. lol parang hindi siya youtuber, ang daming tutorial dun. na intriga ako bigla dahil sa tinder na binanggit niyo. and... geez.

anyway, currently hunting for japanese guru. naoobssess ako ngayon sa skincare nila. mas umaappeal sakin ngayon mga asian tutorials.

Ever since naman walang substance ang videos ni Say.

Masipag lang sya mag upload kaya nakakakuha sya ng projects and event invites pero talent, grammar, substance, waley.

Saw the tinder video of say and michelle! Haha! Nakakatawa si say, as if her viewers were born yesterday. Haha. At least si michelle alam mong she uses it for fun. Tsaka may disclaimer to be careful with apps like tinder.

I think Tinder is rehashing its image kaya nagkakaron sila ng wholesome promotion like this. Yung pagka promote lang ni Say is para bang facebook yung Tinder.

Current favorite, Kris Lumagui sa local Youtuber bet na bet ko pa siya magsalita. Is she an English Teacher?

@swtgrl_bee yup, alam ko English teacher sa isang public school si Kris i Like her din, she doesn't use much high end brands pero you can tell may talent din sya :-) and she seems like a nice person

Yung 2nd to the last video yata. Kasi may nag comment na fan daw ni Say.grabe naman daw mga comment.pero wala na akong makitang mention. Burado na siguro.ano kaya yun haha

Tati is my favorite. Siya lang ang tanging youtuber na pinapanuod ko lahat ng videos. Yung iba kahit subscribed ako, kung haul, or q&a, or whatevs video na hindi naman interesting for me, di ko na pinapanood.

There are a lot of fun YouTubers, pero for me, iba pa rin talaga yung uploads ng professional makeup artists.

nakakawalang gana yung mga yt gurus na nagbebenta ng sponsored products or mga preloved cosmetics nila. why can't they just donate them or sige kahit yung proceeds nalang. considering they received these as gifts, delicadeza nalang sana na wag na nilang pagkaperahan pa. tutal they are paid for naman to review these items in the first place.

hay, gone are the days na may youtubers talagang may substance at may mapupulot ka. lahat it's all about the money.

For me, okay lang naman ibenta nila yung mga products kasi sobrang dami na nila makeup. At least magagamit nila yung pera sa ibang bagay na kailangan nila.

About Say, I really don't like her.  Nung nagpa give-away siya for reaching 100,000 subscribers, nagalit na siya agad dun sa mga nagsabi  na hindi nila mabasa kung sino ang nanalo dahil ang liit ng names sa screen....Watch daw in HD at sa Twitter niya mega rant na kaya daw ayaw niya mag-give away kasi ginagamit lang daw siya or something to that effect. Pero kung mababasa mo yung mga nagcomment, napaka respectful naman ng pagkakasabi. Siguro may narcissistic tendency siya kasi di nya kaya mag-take kahit konting criticism. Plus everyday yata may rant siya sa Twitter about other people. Super nega talaga.

Deadma din siya halos sa mga nagre-request sa kanya to do a certain video or yung may mga tanong lang about her hair color, etc.

Most international YT personalities do not sell the items that were given to them. They give them away, to friends, family, some even sa goodwill. I remember may isa pa nga na nagbigay sa isang institution to help yung mga battered women na nagsisimula ulit.

I mean, if you make profit out of something na nakuha mo for free, hindi ba pandurugas yun?

Anyway, on topic, I also like Tina Yong.

my fave guilty pleasure lately is reading gossip guru (international yt artists) so mej nagiba tuloy ang pagtingin ko dun sa yt gurus na pinapanood ko dati. hmmm.

Sis simang, is that Judy?  I agree, I am a subscriber of Judy, Heart and Bubz. Sa family, friends or donation/charities talaga napupunta yung mga make ups nila. Naisip ko baka naman yung local youtubers walang monetary na nakukuha kapag nagrereview? Unless mag gain ng profit yung mismong video? Palagay niyo? Kasi yung price ng tinda nila hindi siya cheap na tipong 50% off ah kahit sabihin nila na swipe once or twice.

^I think Judy donates her makeup to a women's shelter. Of course, she gives some to family and friends.

I think konti lang din ang monetary sa ibang international when it comes to makeup brands. What they are given are PR samples ng makeup that they use as content for their videos on youtube. Most youtubers, earn money from youtube itself kaya marami and nagreresort to vlogs. Pero depende din siguro kasi marami na din ang nakapagcreate ng empire out of their name like Michelle Phan. Collabs with makeup brands surely pay her big time.

Sa local YTers I like Noe Mae.. kahit no makeup super pretty nya And Mimi of Coffeandsparkles!! She's a photographer ata so ganda palagi ng lighting nya, and has humor din.. Minsan nanonood ako ng vlogs ni Say but not her makeup videos anymore kasi parang wala naman bago... sa vlogs ni essay annoying lang yung mga gay lingos nya na paulit ulit, na di naman relate sa nangyayari lol

Looks like Ann Cay was also tapped by Tinder to do a video, although di niya dinisclose kung what social app. Mukang ayaw niya, pero she was offered $2000! No wonder pinak pak ganern ni Say yung offer

Newbie here!  Really enjoyed back-reading this thread so share na din ako ng favorite beauty Youtubers ko

For local beauty gurus, I'm a really big fan of Anna Cay. I just discovered her last month ata or maybe two months ago pero ang bilis kong na-addict sa channel niya. Her vlogs, kahit na lengthy, don't bore me at all! Parang nakikipag kwentuhan lang siya sa friends niya and I love the personal touch she adds to her videos. Nakakaaliw din yung mga hauls niya even though most of her products are high-end, and I find her reviews dependable and on point. Napaka humble din niya, wala siyang bahid ng kayabangan sa system niya  I also like Michelle Dy; natuwa ako sa Make-Up Serye segment niya. Her content is really good as well and bonus na yung babaeng bakla si teh, sobrang nakakaaliw siyang panuorin!

Hindi ko inexpect yung thoughts niyo about Say Tioco, akala ko kasi ako lang nakakaisip nun haha! I used to be a subscriber of hers kaso lately ang ne-nega ng vlogs niya and paulit ulit nalang. Pati Twitter niya napaka nega, nakakalungkot i-follow. Unfortunately, totoo pala yung rumors about her na kapag nag comment ka sa kanya tapos against sa views or opinions niya yung sasabihin mo, she will block you. Recently she tweeted about an Uber driver na small talk daw ng small talk and kung pwede daw shut up nalang daw si driver. I wanted to give her a different perspective so I replied to her tweet. I said baka gusto lang ni kuya driver na maaliw kaya nakikipag small talk... but ayun na nga she blocked me agad. Hindi naman bastos yung pagkakasabi ko and hindi ko din naman intensyon na awayin siya, naga-advice lang naman ako. Pero waley blocked padin ako ni teh Un-subbed na tuloy ako sa kanya.

For international Youtubers, I'm obsessed with KathleenLights, Jaclyn Hill and Desi Perkins.

Wala akong gusto na local youtuber. Haha try ko panoorin yung mga suggestiond niyo. Ang annoying kasi nung reviews nung iba halatang sponsored na nga hindi man lang nagresearch kahit papano sa product. Saka parang desperate sa sponsored stuff yung dating. Hindi tuloy kapanipaniwala yung mga reviews kasi puro bigay.

Damimg issue sa international beauty youtubers.. Gusto ko lang yung mga makeup tutorials lang like jasmine hand, minimakeupan lang clients niya. Si pony naeeyelash curler yung lower lashes niya, ang galing lang. Si lisa eldridge lang ang fave ko, wala syang inverted triangle na concealer or baking etc. pero maganda may transformation pa din. Wala naman akong magayang looks pero masaya manood. Kathleenlights, jaclynhill na sobrang mean ng mga comments palagi sa kahit anong ipost, jamie paige, shaaanxo.
