What's funny about these gurus is that, at first di ako nagagandahan sa kanila (like kaushal beauty) pero parang the beauty grows on you hehe. sometimes di bagay sa look but if they nail the look, super ganda hehe

Lately I've been loving Karima McKimmie (I think Lisa Eldridge is her inspiration, super similar ng concept ng videos and techniques nila) and Tina Yong.

For local YouTubers naman, recent discovery is Anna Cay. Mid to high end ang hauls nya, and since mukha naman syang may kaya I kind of trust her judgement kasi I doubt she is desperate for sponsorships from local brands (unlike the rest of the local YT community) :p

paano kaya usually yung deal ng mga vloggers/bloggers with the brands? i recently followed a certain youtuber, and while i am liking her videos, na turn off lang ako nung nakita ko na binebenta nya yung mga products na nakuha nya from different brands. okay lang ba yun? i mean, i am assuming na free nya nakuha yung mga products para mareview nya tapos ibebenta nya at kikita sya ng money mula dun sa free items na nareceive nya. i understand na siguro sa dami ng products na binibigay sa kanila and di naman lahat nagagamit e kaya naiisip nilang ibenta. pero natturn off talaga ako.

anyway, for the past weeks i've been watching another beauty vlogger's(kuno) channel. wala naman akong magandang mapulot sa mga videos nya kase puro vlogs na minsan wala namang kwenta e inilalagay pa. and i cannot stand seeing her apartment. sobrang gulo, parang hindi babae yung nakatira. naaamaze din ako sa kanya actually. naaamaze ako sa lakas nya kumain. hehe.. dapat maging food vlogger na lang sya eh.

bet ko yung mga makeup tutorials ni michelle dy. hindi ko lang pinapanood pa yung mga 'serye' nya. pero okay sakin yung ibang mga tutorials nya talaga.

may kilala ba kayong make up gurus na around NC30-35 ang MAC shade?

Anna Cay - Ang favorite kong local Youtuber lately kasi mukhang gumagastos pa si Anna para sa mga products na pini-feature sa channel nya unlike yung iba na hindi na talaga naglabas ng kahit sentimo para sa beauty products. Sana hindi sya malamon ng sponsorship system. Kahit uma-attend na si Anna sa ibang events, mahahalata mo pag hindi nya nagustuhan yung product kasi hindi nya hina-hype. Yung iba grabe mag-hype pero isang beses mo lang makita sa favorites nila/hindi mo naman makita sa favorites nila or things they often use.

Michelle Dy - Napanood ko yung serye nya kasi laging lumalabas sa "recommended videos" ko. Tawang-tawa ako. 

Anne Clutz - Puro sponsored na.. Puro free stuff.. Sunud-sunod pa. Unsubscribed.

I'm really not into local youtubers pero I just searched for Anna Cay & Michelle Dy dahil sa posts nyo and in fairness mejo nakakatuwa naman. Mas feel mo yung connection sa kanila. Wala lang ako makitang makeup tutorials masyado parang halos puro vlog. Parang naisip ko din tuloy gumawa ng channel. Hehe.

Sis foxyhauteur, agree ako! Isa sa favorite ko si Anne Clutz before dahil affordable yung mga feature products niya at totoong review ginagawa niya. Pero ngayon puro sponsored products na talaga. Ang weird pa kasi yung nirereview niya yung Pond's halatang nag breakout skin niya. Reason niya yung trip daw sa Bali. Pero most ng comments eh hindi talaga sila hiyang sa Pond's  And yung super trending niya na video, yung about Kojie San. Sinabi niya dun na dito sa GT niya na discover yung product.

Anna Cay is love. Effort kung effort talaga siya sa mga reviews niya at hindi panay sponsored items. Talagang siya ang bumibili.

Michelle Dy is funny I like her, sana lang complete ang description niya sa makeup brushes she uses... hihi. Pero natawa talaga ako sa series niya... foundation, para itatago ang mga malas sa mukha. LOL. Are her vlogs funny? Worth watching? She's the only local makeup youtuber I watch because of her sense of humor

Tried and tested ang Pond's - dakilang cause ng breakouts  Wala nga akong kilalang hiyang dyan eh. Mukhang deadma lang naman sya sa feedback dun sa Pond's video nya. Sponsored videos/free stuff pa rin after that. Natuwa pa na pinagtatanggol sya ng supporters nya. lol
