@ runami

If you want professional na to sawa, I suggest you keep watching videos of gossmakeupartist and/or Lisa Eldridge. Kahit paulit-ulit mo panoorin. Goss is for techniques and Lisa, love the looks she creates. At least through that, you get those tips and tricks from pros who are actually makeup artists and legit (in my opinion). I won't risk going to local workshops ng local youtubers unless they really have the K. Some kasi na local, puro kuda lang and wala ka talaga halos matutunan. Meron namang okay kaso handful lang. ;D

Sis, what is "kuda"?

Too much talk to the point na minsan, nonsense na and totally unrelated na yung pinagsasabi. And sometimes, not believable.

Anne Clutz! Walang arte and nakakatawa. Hahahaha. Nakakaadik din ang daily vlogs niya with jeya and kitz!

Hahaha

BeautyWithEmilyFox - Lip swatch queen kaso mahirap mag base if morena. Super puti kasi nya, snow white. Hahaha

Casey Holmes - recently ko lang siya pinanood and I like her personality.

Say Artillero - nagpapakatotoo lang naman sya. I mean lahat naman tayo may ugali hahaha. I lover her vlogs with her bf.

Lately I've been into tutorials again, and I must say, I loooove Jaclyn Hill, KathleenLights and Nicole Guerriero. ❤️ They are so fun to watch! Kalog and hindi boring, kaya kahit mega talk thru okay lang. :) Jaclyn is a pro makeup artist and ang cool nya. Very informative. Kathleen is kalog, she uses a lot of drugstore products and walang falsies sa tutorials nya. :P Si Nicole naman light lang din and I like that hindi sya mahilig sa eyeshadows. Haha. :D

I love Teena, too. Ang kulit nya. Also, Anneclutz, kasi nakakarelate ako. Pinay na pinay sya if that makes sense.

Anneclutz is so nakaka aliw talaga, natural na natural kaya masarap pakingan at panoorin :)

Dahil dito natuwa din ako kay Anne Clutz so I watch her vids. Pero sa product recos hindi masyado. I trust Lisa Eldridge and Goss for that kasi ok talaga quality. Nakakatakot kasi local bloggers parang minsan hindi mo na alam kung credible yun recos nila or dahil sponsored kaya ok for them yun product hindi honest ang review.

I also like judytime pero more of family na yun vids nya minsan.

^ Nakakatakot din foreign vloggers and bloggers.

Sa US naman, I think may loophole yung disclosure policy nila, like yung Sephora *daw*, magbibigay ng, say for example, $500 na GC, they can buy whatever they want basta isasama one particular product. Technically, they can honestly say "they bought xxx", pero you'll never really know.

Overtime, you'll get a sense of who's telling the truth.

And kapag foreign gurus kailangan din iconsider other factors like syempre iba weather and skin- type nila and etc.

After the contract was exposed issue and all. I seriously wouldn't spend $20 on a lipstick na hindi ko naman kilala and mas mahal pa sa MAC. Obviously, hyped up naman then the expose. :)

I watch makeup gurus on youtube not to really check reviews but more of to check kung ano ba mga bago ngayon kaya parang mas chinecheck ko yung mga review nila of PR samples. hehe.

I like watching itsjudytime kasi pareho kami ng skin type (oily combi) and eye shape. also, mahilig siya sa neutrals pagdating sa eyeshadow so keri gamitin sa work and dito sa pinas.

Maganda yun if you can afford it pero para sa mga tulad ko, okay ako sa mga drugstore recos or if high-end man siguro talagang walang dupe yun sa drugstore or super ganda talaga.

I like watching beautifymeeh pala kasi most of the time she uses Korean skincare and makeup which is what I like these past few days and she has a cute family.

Natutuwa lang ako when she uses Filipino expressions like "hay naku" or "susmaryosep". hehe.

I do not follow their tutorials per se kasi hindi naman ako mahilig mag full make up.

Hahaha sabi nya "bat sya naka makeup, parang nasa dagat yata sila?", "sino yang kasama nya, boyfriend nya? Inuuto nya lang boyfriend nya bakit pumapayag yung lalaki na utuin sya (referring to the part where she asks him to say bonggaloo ng paulit ulit)", "magbebreak din sila, timgnan mo di naman masaya yung lalaki sa gimagawa nila"

With Wayne Goss, I treat his product recs with reservation, parang first impression reviews -- esp because he doesn't wear makeup all day.  When he raves about something, I watch/read a lot of other reviews din.
