^buhay pa pala tong regency inn. it's in lacson extension and a bit far from the center of the festivities. it's nearer goldenfields complex and aboy's resto. I stayed here twice way way back when I was doing provincial audit.

@my sweet November, why not try the hotels in araneta? There's la planta hotel, sugarland, Westown hotel near the old city hall. planta is in front of gaisano mall and I've also stayed here for a wedding.

Going here on Thursday! Pero mga around 5PM arrival ko, what to do on my first night here? Pwede pa kaya sumaglit sa Ruins or bukas pa kaya Silay Ancestral Houses ng mga 5PM?

^5pm ang dating mo sa bacolod-silay airport? from there mga 30-45 minutes travel time pag commute ka (tryke-jeep-jeep) papuntang bacolod city proper. but since mauuna ang the ruins, bawas ng 15 minutes travel time kasi bababa ka na sa may pepsi bangga. from there mga 20 minutes tryke going to the ruins. ok din naman dun sa gabi, kaso saglit ka lang makakapag-stay dahil madilim na masyado ang daan pabalik around 7pm.

kung sa silay naman, hanggang 5pm lang ang old houses and museums. pwede ka na lang siguro magrelax muna sa hotel, kung may swimming pool mas ok at umpisahan mo na ang food trip!

^Aww thanks sis sa info! That means mas better na magstay nalang muna ko sa hotel ko no at mag-food trip. Kaya ba Mambukal, Ruins and Silay in one day? O masyado ng out of way yung Silay?

^ibang way naman ang papuntang murcia town where mambukal is and it is an hour away from Bacolod. Ang silay town and the ruins pwedeng makuha half day.

though come to think of it, if you have a private car, pwedeng makuha in just 1 day. That's what we did way back. After seeing heritage houses in silay and talisay, we went to murcia after lunch and had our snacks at mambukal resort. then we returned to bacolod after dusk. I've been to mambukal countless times since the time nag close sya for renovation twice and till it opened na improved na improved na.

Agree sis..plan din namin dati ang mambukal at ruins pero mukhang paguran yun kaya di namin tinuloy. Isa pang pwede puntahan yung campuestohan, pero iba din ang way nun from mambukal.

I'm not sure din if open pa yung ecj farm owned by danding cojuangco. it spans 5 towns I think and tour starts at bago, next town south of Bacolod. maganda rin dun. cowboy lang ang peg.

If you plan to watch the street dancing on Oct 20, Tamera and O Hotel are near the Paglaum Sports Complex.

this is going to be a stupid question; but meron po ba dito na may alam ng any transient room for oct 17 - oct 21 (masskara)
or baka may nag pa reserve na pero hindi na matutuloy? good for 3 po sana na room.
I did not expect kase na matutuloy pa kame, tapos bigla tuloy na pala, kaya im struggling to find any rooms :-(

 Kailangan ko po sana ng tulong ninyo sa IT nmin..pwede po tulungan nyo akong ayusin ito:

Day 1 (arrival 8:45am)
- breakfast cafe 1925.
- Silay Tour? [textspeak!]-ano ang pwede namin puntahan at ani ang means ng transportation?
-punta na ng bacolod to check in sa Go hotel.
- baka late lunch sa Lord byron.
-4pm Ruins, lagoon? Ano pa pwede sis?
-Dinner sa Manokan country and Calea

Day 2
- Mambukal? Paano pumunta doon and saan kami makakakuha ng tour guide? Half day lang sana sis...
-food trip pa..any suggestion?

Day 3- wala pangsched. Help

Day 1:
- from airport, tryke going to silay. sa pinakalabas na gate ng airport ang tryke station, P10/pax kung puno pero kung hindi P60 yung tryke.

- sakay kayo ng silay-bacolod jeep sa harap ng BPI/El Ideal. ibababa kayo nun sa jeep station sa may Pepsi Bangga. dun naman kayo sasakay ng bata-libertad-mandalagan jeep going to Go Hotels.
- sarado ang Lord Byron's between 2-5pm. sa manokan na lang kayo maglunch kung plan nyo mag-city tour.
- after lunch pwede kayo maglakad along Lacson St. you can visit Negros Museum, old capitol, Pope John Paul II tower at the back of SM.
- dinner sa lord byron's? going there ride a cab na lang from pepsi bangga. tell the driver sa homesite kayo, inside montevista village. pauwi may mga jeep sa labas ng village, kaya naman lakarin palabas ng village to kalsada.

Day 2: food trip lang masa-suggest ko kasi kahit nakailang beses na kame sa Bacolod di pa din natutuloy ang Mambukal trip namin dahil ang mga kasama namin pinipili na lang magrelax at magfood trip!

question mga sis...
we are booked for 3D4N in bacolod. early morning flight kami sa 1st day..would you suggest direcho na kami ng silay? i was just worried kasi parang di masarap magtour dala yun gamit for almost 4 days.
di ba practical to check in muna sa hotel then saka magtour?

2nd question, parang sobrang haba na kasi ng 3Days for bacolod alone. baka naman mabundat na kami kakain pag puro food trip lang ginawa namin. i was thinking..
Day 1 - Bacolod City Tour, Ruins + Food trip
Day 2 -  Mambukal half day tour + food trip
Day 3 - ano pa kaya magawa dito?

Inisip ko na mag- either guimaras or iloilo..pero iniisip ko pa kung pano un di ganong stressful na IT. gusto ko relaxing kasi di rin sanay sa mala-amazing race un kapatid ko..  suggestions please TIA.

@Tickeled-Pink, sis try ko hanapin advertisement ng cousin ko sa sulit. Sila may-ari ng transient room bago lang yun. Parang dorm type, check mo baka magustuhan niyo.

whatswithjuly, kung madami kayo dalang gamit hindi nga ok mag-silay tour pagkagaling sa airport. pero halos magkakalapit lang naman yung pupuntahan dun at yung time ng dating nyo (if flight's not delayed) tamang-tama lang ang init. pwede kayo mag-overnight sa mambukal, pasyal sa campuestohan highlands, punta kayo sa Church of the Angry Christ at sa Sipalay. pero ewan ko lang kung gugustuhin nyo na hindi masubukan halos lahat ng kainan dun hehe!
Day 1: Silay, Talisay, Ruins tour / Bacolod tour / foodtrip
Day 2: Mambukal tour (overnight?) / foodtrip
Day 3: Sipalay/Church of the Angry Christ/Campuestohan Highlands/ foodtrip / shopping
