yeah they call it Art District. one of the usual places where the younger crowd of bacolod go to during weekends. actually, even si hubby (we are civilly wed) hindi alam yung place though marami naman talaga siyang hindi alam sa places of interest sa bacolod kahit taga-dyan siya.

may mga murals daw sa mga walls then marami ngang restaurants/bars.

^since you want to showcase the different tourist locations in bacolod, i think ok nga magshoot ng prenup sa art district. better if you portray something like this:

^oo sis nung last punta namin august 2012. Nag-dinner kame sa Chicken House sa Art District. After that nag-inom din kame sa isa sa bars dun. Kung ang peg nyo sa shoot ay rock and roll, gothic, o rugged ok dun.

If you've been to Cubao Expo, parang ganun sya.

I'm planning to witness the MassKara Festival this October. Finorego ko na lang muna si Boracay & would want to visit Bacolod instead.

I'm eyeing Lacson Street as most of the sisses here & sa mga nabasa kong blogs this is where the MassKara festival is held? Would you recommend any hotel along this stretch? LFisher is fully booked already.

Reading through the Bacolod City Government's site, I've found the below hotel addresses along Lacson Street:

1. Bacolod Business Inn
2. Tamera Plaza Inn
3. Westown Hotel
4. Royal Am Rei Hotel

Ano sa tingin ninyo okay among the 4 mentioned above?

Would you give me suggested ITI? I'm with Dad (Senior Citizen na), Mom (58 y/o) & daughter (9 months old)?

^^sis, we stayed at royal am rei kasi around May fully booked na lahay ng hotels in lacson. Though hindi mismong lacson si RAR, lalakad ka pa papasok sa kalye. Mas nagustuhan namin yung location kasi when lacson street becomes busy and noisy, makakatulog pa din kame kasi di na gaano dinig sa RAR.

Ilang days kayo dun? What activities do you prefer? Since kasama mo parents mo I suggest you hire a car para di sila mapagod sa lakaran. Pagdating nyo on day 1 pwede kayo dumiretso sa silay for old houses viewing. Diretso The Ruins or before sunset para mas maganda ang view. The following day pwede kayo sa Mambukal. Yung Masskara street dance starts from Friday night to Sunday sa pagkakaalam ko.

last year i went to bacolod to watch the masskara, we stayed at Tamera Plaza Inn,
place was ok, clean bathroom, comfortable beds and buffet breakfast
medyo malayo nga lang siya sa mga kainan along lacson
pero for me mas ok siya kesa magstay along lacson kasi during the festival madami tao and may street party at night so maingay talaga...

kapupunta lang namin sa bacolod last week and i liked it there... sabi ko nga sa friend ko, i could live there... we stayed at l'fisher hotel along lacson... ok ang transport system nila at marami ring taxi... we got to visit the ruins and balay negrense din...

Next weekend nasa Bacolod kame. A year ago andun din kame hehe.Miss na namin ang food at relaxed environment dun. Balita ko may bagong bukas ng food outlets.

Sis can I have the fastest way to contact RAR? Ang hirap humanap ng hotel almost fully booked na lahat at this stage. Target ko eh 4 nights check in on 18 Oct 2013.
Takot akong mag drive although may license naman na ko kaya lang if I’m not familiar with the place, I rather commute…

Any of you who have booked or stayed in Mo2 Days Inn Hotel before? Can you please share your experience...I might go for this na kasi eto na lang ang swak sa date na gusto ko plus budget.

^mahirap talaga magbook sa ganitong panahon sis kasi sobrang lapit na ng masskara festival. kahit mejo malayo sa city ang mo2 i think ok na yan kesa dun pa kayo maghahanap, sayang sa oras yun. hindi naman mahirap magcommute sa bacolod. jeepneys are interconnecting meaning pagbaba mo sa unang jeep, makakasakay ka na sa second jeep to your destination. madali lang din naman magtaxi at di naman yun kamahalan, example from l'fisher na nasa bandang north ata eh nagpunta kame sa bandang south area at pabalik ng lagoon...nasa P114 lang ang taxi namin! if i remember right ang mo2 nasa south banda, near aboy's (seafood resto). siguro ok na din na hindi kayo sa lacson street, kasi during masskara festival halos wala ng jeep/taxi na nakakadaan sa kahabaan ng lacson street o di kaya traffic na tanghali palang. kagagaling lang namin sa bacolod nung weekend, we didn't have or rented any car...jeep at taxi lang ang mode of transpo namin pero nakarating na kame kung saan-saan. kahit ba sa go hotels fully booked na?

hello! got a ticket from air asia for september21-22 for only P1,000.00 purpose lang namin is food trip in Bacolod. Excited na kami..

from Business Inn. Near SM and Manukan Country too.

Thats the one in Goldenfields Complex right? that area has somehow become the red light district
of Bacolod and Mo2 Days Inn daw has become more of a motel na.  Plus if you're with Senior
Citizens its not the ideal place for them. Unless they want to play in the Casino.
