@vuzhia, why not contact a travel agent here na mismo to arrange the tour in bacolod for your family? it's easier this way lalo na seniors sila. Kung tayo lang, DIY na sana.

yan na nga last resort ko sis, nag babaka sakali lang kase ako na makahanap ako ng pwedeng mag arrange ng tour na mismong taga Bacolod na, ganun kase ginawa ko sa Palawan & Bohol, sa thread kase nun daming recommendations na direkta ng taga Bohol & Palawan, hindi na ako dadaan sa mga agency dito sa Manila at syempre pag dito ako nakakita sa thread highly recommended na ng mga sister natin

just got back from bacolod. I had so much fun and super enjoy ako. I love everything about BAcolod promise.Sis Hoopchick, pasensya na, super busy ako sa tour na hindi man lang kita tinext. can you imagine, buong araw ako wala pero nasa hotel ako tuwing gabi lang at matutulog na at maaga ang gising kinabukasan. i wanna go back there, definitely next year!!!!!!!!

Hi sis ayionick. Are you from Bacolod also? It was my first time actually to visit Bacolod. First time solo flight to and fro. Pero ang kumare ko andun na sa bacolod. 4 days and 3 nights ako. I had fun promise. Will go back next year... definitely.

i love their place. their food, their people are warm and friendly. Naku, kayang kaya ko mabuhay dun promise. Sana nga makatagpo ng ilonggo since i am single LOL.

^no sis, manilena ako pero just the same nagustuhan namin ni hubby yung laid-back life sa bacolod. Madami din kame friends na taga-dun kaya bumabalik-balik kame. Aside from the food, people, surroundings. Madalas may itinerary kame like nung first punta namin. But during the second time hindi na talaga nasunod yung itinerary kasi masyado na kame relaxed at we go as far as we can kahit di namin alam yung lugar, we just ask for directions from our friends tapos nagji-jeep/bus na kame hehe.

Sa August we'll be there again with first-timer friends. Hope they'd also enjoy Bacolod. Then on December me and hubby will celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary there. Who knows sa pagbalik namin magscout na din kame ng house and lot dun?! :p

wow na miss ko tuloy ang Bacolod. I remember there was this time hubby's car group had their fun run from manila all the way to cebu passing thru iloilo and Bacolod. Usapan namin i'll join him in Bacolod. But coz of the heavy traffic (may festivities yata ang city that time) he wasn't able to fetch me at the airport. Good thing hospitable and accommodating ang mga locals. Some passengers and the driver of the van na sinakyan ko sa airport assisted me all the way to manokan country where hubby and his group were. Kung manila lang to, malamang nasalisihan na ko, na holdup or whatnot.

^totoo yan sis! i also remembered during our first visit sa bacolod ang sabi ko sa jeepney driver "para po" sabay nagtawanan yung mga nakasakay na locals pero hindi nakakahiyang tawa kasi nga pati pagtawa nila malambing ang tono! sabi nung isang ale "lugar lang" and smiled back at me.

bihira din kame mag-van papunta sa city/provinces from airport, usually tryke, jeeps at buses. as in commute talaga!

i'll be in Bacolod tomorrow, day trip lang. well its actually business trip.  i'll be in The District North Point.  sana makapag ikot pa ko kahit konti... ano bang pwedeng puntahan near that area?

That is also one of the things we hope to do in the future. I want to have a bed and breakfast business in bacolod or nearby places. Sabi ko kay hubby, if he we can do that, okay ako mag-migrate to bacolod. tapos pabalik-balik na lang ng laguna.

I will be back in Bacolod by March next year. hahaha. I already miss their place and food na rin. And i told my dad na bibili ako ng house and lot dun in case magreretire ako sa bank. =)

Yung officemate ko galing bacolod last weekend, may pasalubong sya saming Napoleones...yummy!

^did you go to mambukal hot springs mountain resort sis? It's located in murcia, just an hour away from the city. it's my favorite among other places in negros.

hi! for everyone quite familiar with bacolod, is it nice ba sa art district for an engagement shoot? or better if sa may lagoon and the nearby public plaza?

as we continue with our preparations kasi, parang nagre-revolve around the city yung celebration namin. so parang type ko na yung idea na i-feature yung city a place worth going to.

^art district? sa Bacolod kasi sis, tabi tabi ang commercial and residential. parang sa downtown cebu. akala mo puro bahay, then out of the blue may boutique pala or eatery sa gilid. the places I find nice for an engagement shoot - lagoon at provincial capitol, city hall, ruins, mambukal, or beach resorts up north. wag lang sa plaza fronting the cathedral kasi parang hindi safe, may mga street vendors and street children.
