^best starts are sold in Virgies. Kinda pricey lang but promise the best ang tarts nila cheese, caramel, mango, pineapple, and etc.

update: i just tried virgie's napoleones! may negros trade fair ngayon sa glorietta 2. andun din ang felicia's, akala ko may cakes sayang. pero ok lang kasi may virgie's naman. bumili din ako ng fresh lumpia from el ideal, favorite ni hubby. at sa nagke-crave ng guapple pie, meron din sila.

and yes the napoleones of Virgies is pretty good too!

please recommend naman po ng pwede mag provide ng land arrangement, including hotel, airport transfer, city tour & mambukal puro senior citizen kase yung mamamasyal, mukhang hinbdi nila kakayanin kahit gawan ko sila ng itinerary

^sis, regarding transportation, kindly backread na lang as I think I have listed the van rental companies dito. Kung hindi dito, baka nasa thread 1. For hotel accommodations, i highly recommend l'fisher hotel (bacolod's prime hotel) as it is strategically located in lacson street (bacolod's premier street. Sa hotel you can arrange for tours/guides na sis.

Pwede ba malaman ang contact number ni Saltimboca Tourist Inn, kase nahirapan talaga ako sa kanila e. Medyo di sila active sa facebook. May nakita ako mobile number nila pero di sila sumasagot sa text. Sila kc pinakamura at maganda din ang location e. may ma recommend pa kaya kayo na ok na hotel? sa June7-9 na kase ang alis namin. Saka aside from Nyala tour, meron pa ba ok na mga van rental sa bacolod? may kasama kc kame na 3 senior kaya hindi advisable ang commute e. Thanks!!!

^if you can fit in a taxi, you can haggle with the drivers.

had so much fun in bacolod earlier this week.  will definitely go back!
if you're intending to trek to the 7 waterfalls of mambukal, i strongly recommend our tour guide named reneboy. ang galing pumicture and very patient with us and with all our questions.

^sis pano yung set-up ng tour guide nyo? kasama ba sya sa Tour Package, baka matutulungan nya Mama ko at mga kapatid nya na medyo senior nya, gusto kase nila wala ng isipin pag labas ng Airport, hehe!

^sis DIY lang po kami eh. yung guide na namention ko sa previous post, sa mambukal mountain resort lang yun.  when we went to The Ruins, we just contracted a taxi driver, haggle lang. unang usapan is 500 good for 30 mins lang. e umabot kami ng 2 hours, he charged us 800.  ayoko na lang makipag-argue kaya binayaran na lang namin. i figured, hindi ganun kadami ang sumasakay ng taxi dun kaya grabe sila magcharge.  pero pwede pa tawaran yun if we only negotiated sa una pa lang.

to go to mambukal, mas okay to take public transport than a taxi. take the bata libertad jeepney (yung direction going to the capitol/cathedral na way) then sakay ng mini bus to mambukal.  around 40 pesos 1 way per person.
sa tantya ko ang taxi magchacharge yun ng not less than 1K pag hatid sa inyo. travel to mambukas is approx 1 hour. pero di mo mapapansin kasi ang ganda ng view. at ang fresh ng hangin.

@vuzhia, why not contact a travel agent here na mismo to arrange the tour in bacolod for your family? it's easier this way lalo na seniors sila. Kung tayo lang, DIY na sana.
