^^ sis cartman..gala lang talaga ako ng gala hehe..kaso yung iti namin sa bacolod hindi ganun ka-organized, kasi puro kain lang ginawa namin dun hehe...saka nag GUimaras kami kaya medyo ngarag byahe namin. Buti nakapag Mambukal resort kami saka ruins, hindi na kami nakapunta sa SIlay kasi kapos na sa oras. Si hoopchick ang nag entertain sa min dun. Basta must-try yung Lord Byrons, thumbs up kami dun. yung sa Calea cakes, masasarap halos lahat so keri na. Yung pasalubong na butterscotch mas type ko Merci's hehe.. San susunod na byahe mo after Bacolod? baka magkita tayo ng di inaasahan? hehe

haha sis tammy uu nga travel while you can, pagkain lang din nga ang balak ko puntahan sa bacolod.
puro yun nga ni research ko gusto ko yun tipong tataba ako ng 3 days.lol
sa davao next ko balik pearl farm na enjoy ko kasi dun dati. baka mag cross ang landas naten na naman.

Bacolod sisses, open ba ang Ruins everyday? May charge ba if mag prenup dun? Or entrance lang then picture all you can? Hehe

mukhang maganda yung avenue suites. Last 2012 lang nag open so bagiong-bago pa. Lacson st din siya.

^wouldn't recommend it. the place isn't the safest in Bacolod.

The hotel itself isnt bad. it's just the area. not a great location because downtown area na yan and medyo magulo sometimes.

^kung may budget ka at gusto mo may swimming pool, book at L'Fisher Hotel/Chalet. pwede din sa Saltimbocca Tourist Inn pero mixed reviews ang guests dito. We've stayed at Royal Am Rei and Go Hotels na din, both are ok din in terms of location and service. Though sa RAR maglalakad ka pa ng konti from Lacson papasok sa isang eskinita, hindi naman delikado yung lalakaran. Me and hubby prefer staying along Lacson para malapit sa kainan at madaling sumakay ng taxi/jeep.

ayionick: salamat sis. will check out on that. nakapagpabook na ako sa suites at calle nueva, sabi hindi daw safest place to say. pero buti nga lang, hindi sila nanghihingi ng downpayment ahihihhi.

^check mo din sa asiatravel o agoda before you book kasi minsan mas mura kesa sa direct booking. Take note din na kung october ang punta nyo dun you MUST book before june kasi fully booked na sila as early as june/july. Lalo na yung along Lacson.

^malapit na pala. good luck sa paghahanap ng accommodation. try nyo magcommute if you don't have much baggage, para ma-experience at makabisado mo din yung mga daan.

Pa help naman po ako sa itenerary. We'll be in Bacolod this June 7-9. As in mga 8am ng june 7 nasa bacolod na kame tapos mga 9pm naman uwe namin pabalik ng Manila.

7 kame lahat. Tapos may 3 kame matanda na kasama hehe.

Ito kc binigay na itenerary ng friend ko:
DAY 1: Arrival in Bacolod, City Tour 4hours, lunch in a Local Restaurant (on pax account) travel to Punta Bulata Resort (3hours from City Proper). Check in at Punta Bulata. The rest of the day is free

DAY2: Breakfast. Wholeday Free for Beach Activities. Spa services also available.

DAY 3: Breakfast. The rest of the day is free before the 3hour drive to airport for your flight back to Manila

Parang and dating kc is mostly sa Punta Bulata kame mag stay. Ok ba ba yan? Ma-iikot na ba namin yung city ng 4hrs lang?

^sis, private car/van ba kayo? i don't think kaya in 3hrs from airport to punta bulata, siguro 4hrs. yung city tour kaya naman half day. mejo nakakahinayan lang na mas matagal kayo sa punta bulata kesa sa city proper where all the must-try food is located.

kung ganito kaya na itinerary:
Day 1: ETA 8AM.
     12NN ETA sa Punta Bulata
     12NN-1:30PM Lunch at Punta Bulata na din
     2PM Checkin
     3PM onwards Relax at the resort / Danjugan tour if possible
Day 2: Free breakfast
     Relax at the resort
     Early lunch at the resort
     12NN Checkout from Punta Bulata
     4PM ETA Bacolod City proper
     4:30PM ETA The Ruins (maganda ang sunset)
     6:00PM ETA and checkin at hotel (suggestion sa Lacson Street kayo magstay)
     7:00PM Dinner at Chicken House/Bob's/21 Restaurant/Pendy's/Pepe's/Mooon Cafe at madami pa as in magkakahilera sila!
     9:00PM Desserts at Calea/Felicia's/Bob's/Cafe Bob
     10:00PM onwards Relax at hotel
Day 3:
     Free breakfast from hotel or try batchoy at 21 Restaurant
     City tour (pwede din maglakad-lakad lang, madali naman din magjeep pag pagod na)
     Lunch
     Back to hotel for clean-up and checkout (some hotels allow na iiwan muna yung gamit kung later pa ang flight)
     Buy pasalubong at SM/Robinsons (if you do not have car service, may shuttle van from SM/Robinsons to airport)
     Dinner
     Back to hotel to get baggages
     Go to shuttle van terminal
     *be at least 2hrs sa airport before your flight kasi minsan madaming nagche-checkin or do web checkin para kahit at least 1hr na lang kayo maghintay for boarding

kung may car service kayo makukuha, mas ok yun para di na kayo mag-iisip kung saan dapat sumakay/bumaba. you can also consider overnight stay in mambukal resort instead of punta bulata, 2hrs away from city proper naman ito.

Question lang Sis, may reviews ba dito tungkol sa Whispering Palms? Binigay nya rin kase na option samin yun e.

Tapos Sis, sabi pala ng friend ko [textspeak!] rin sa Mambukal Resort. Kaso lang, ok kaya ito if may kasama kame matatanda? Nabasa ko kase ito sa isang blog:
The resort has strategically located viewing decks or, for more intimate encounters with nature, the Canopy Walk, with its hanging bridges. Or go all-out and challenge yourself on the Rock Climbing.

prettychestnut, kung may magtu-tour sa inyo mas makakatipid kayo. yung 15k budget sa ilang tao? i think kasya na yun kasi mura naman ang food dun.

^di ako familiar sa Whispering Palms e. Yung sa Mambukal may 7 falls na pwede i-trek, 2 dipping pools, at yun nga madaming puno. I think magugustuhan din ito ng oldies kasi sariwa ang hangin.
