hi mga sis, question:
1. tanong ko lang if anong link para dun sa spousal sponsorship? naguguluhan na kasi ako if anong application ang ififill-up namin...
2. in relation sa 1st question ko.. ako ba dapat ang magpadala sa embassy dito sa pinas or pwedeng si hubby na lang ang magpasa dun sa canada?
3. ang tagal pala ng NSO 3mons pa bago makuha yung issued nilang marriage cert.. hindi ba pwedeng certified true copy in secpa (security paper) na lang ang ipasa?
4. kelangan din ba ng copy ng passport ko pag pinasa ang form? kaso maiden name ko pa yun o need ko munang magpachange status and change surname?

The way I remember it kasi, parang 2 parts yan eh. Si hubby will apply as a sponsor so sya nagsubmit din ng documents and bayad ng fees tapos wait kami para I-approve sya kung talagang eligible sya to sponsor. Saglit lang to kasi normally, wala naman problema dyan. Then yung application kit ni hubby, ipapadala ng Canada sa Philippines tapos I have to wait for the Canadian Embassy's letter that it is now okay for me to submit all my documents. So ako, I also have forms to fill out, medical, passport and some additional documents indicated in the letter that I received. So in short, both of you will do your part in filling out documents and submitting them to the correct offices. 

Dun sa link ng forms, ma document checklist dun. Hindi ko ma-open yung pdf, ewan ko ba. I suggest, follow it precisely. Also, yung passport, nagpapalit ako to married name before I submitted my application. Lahat ng documents ko, married name na. Pero yung SECPA, diba sa NSO din galing yun?

This is big hurdle talaga, but tiis lang.

Hi sarsingkit kailan ka nagisponsor? Kasi nagyon iba na sabay na ipapasa sa cic ang forms ng sponsor and sponsored based sa guidelines at naconfirmed ni husband sa cic. About sa pdf open mo lang muna ang adobe then click open then click mo lang kung ano file ang bubuksan no need to update.

Whitebeagle ito sagot sa tanong mo although wala pa ako sa Canada pero ito ang mga ginawa namin pwede magverify ang hubby mo sa cic anytime para lang malaman kung tama ang ginagawa nyo.

1. Hindi ako makapagpost ng link tablet lang gamit ko pero search mo ang imm3900 and cic forms for sponsor click mo ang family class ito ang buong guidelines. Sponsor IMM3900, sponsored IMM3905 nandun lahat ang kailang mo ifill up nasa checklist search mo lang kung ano ang applicable sayo sa checklist kasi 4 na forms lang applicable sa akin kasi wala naman ako dependent and representative

2. Kapag complete mo na lahat itsek mo ang checklist kung ano isusubmit mo oo nga pala ikaw na ang mag print ng need ng signature ng sponsored person na forms naman ni hubby mo IMM1344 pinaka mahalaga yan na papirmahan mo and ni hubby then send mo sa LBC para mabilis 3-5 days lang cost 2k plus

3. Manila ka kaya 3months sa akin kasi nun maginquire ako 6months hingi ka ng endorsement as reply ko sa canada thread

4. Ok lang na maiden name ako kasi ang existing passport ko kasi ang pinasa ko as verified sa cic as long as same name ang application kasi nakalagay dun name as appeared sa passport may birth certificate naman at marriage contract to verify ang name and status mo

Nakakalito talaga sis ang hirap nga kaya ang dami ko research at si hubby tumatawag sa cic to confirm lahat ng ginagawa namin sa akin nga hindi nasasagot ang query ko sa ibang forum kaya ang hirap so cic kami nag depend lahat ng gagawin namin. Pinoy ba hubby mo?  Foreigner kasi si hubby kaya siguro wala masyadong makasagot ng mga queries ko wala kapareho. Kaya mo yan sis basa basa lang ng guidelines

Pareho lang ang application ng PR sa Citizen. Or iba na rin ngayon?

^nasa akin pa ang passport ko photo copy lang ang hiningi nila. Sabi sa guidelines submit passport kapag nagemail or tumawag sila to inform na for visa na ako so need na nila ang passport dun pa lang pwede na ipadala sa kanila ang passport. Regarding pr and citizen wala ako masyadong idea kung ano pinagkaiba si hubby na nag asikaso nun pero naiapply na nya ako ng pr to follow ang citizenship kapag nandun na. Ano ba ang dati nilang procedure? Para maverify ko kay hubby kung ano ginawa nya.

^once visa is issued granted na ang Permanent Resident ang status mo. Tapos once you land, 4 years ang waiting time bago maka-apply ng citizenship. I think ganun pa din until now.

That is good. At least hindi masysdo matagal ang passport sa embassy. Hirap kaya ng walang passport.

^tama same pa rin sabi ni hubby. Oo nga buti na sa akin pa rin ang passport ko para anytime na gusto ko mag trip magagamit ko pa rin.

buti nalang nakita ko tong thread na to, si fiance kasi plan namin 2017 pa church wedding pero he's planning na magpacivil daw kami nov this year para daw mas earlier ma process yung papers for me. Pero sabi daw sa kanya it might take 3 years? Ganun ba pag spouse sponsorship? Pwede lang ba malaman mga sis if how long ang normal timelnes? Meron bang months na grant?
He is Filipino pero canadian citizen.  Thanks so much for your help

And also mga sis possible ba na maiden name muna ang documents na gamitin? Hindi naman strict ang canadian embassy dun? Need to research pa talaga

Masyado ata matagal yung 3 years. Yung timeline is just ballpark so hindi yan exact. It could be faster, pwede din mas matagal. Pero once na mas matagal ka na dyan, you can follow up.

Kung maiden name ang docs, its ok I think. I just choose to change mine to married especially passport. One year na lang kasi before expiration yung sa kin so I want to change para bago.

ito kasi nabasa ko lang.. di ako sure if ganito pa rin..

"17. Where is the Sponsored person's part of the application submitted?
If the Application is to be processed outside of Canada, the Sponsored person's Application:
Is submitted along with the Sponsorship Application to the Canadian Immigration Case Processing Centre located in Mississauga, Ontario.  Once the Sponsor has been approved, the Sponsored person's Application will be forwarded to the appropriate Canadian Immigration Visa Office located outside of Canada.

If the Application is to be processed inside Canada, the Sponsored person's Application:

Is submitted along with the Sponsorship Application to the Canadian Immigration Case Processing Centre located in Vegreville, Alberta, where it will be processed once the Sponsor has been approved."

^whoever of the spouse is residing in Canada will be the one to submit the ENTIRE application kit to Mississauga. Once the Sponsor is approved, the application kit will be then be sent by CIC to the Canadian Embassy in Manila. Kasi 2 parts sya, one for the sponsorship and one for the immigration. So isa sa partner 1 and isa sa partner 2. Pero sabay isusubmit ang forms. So if ikaw yung nasa Pinas, send mo yung completed application and documents kay hubby mo and then sya ang magcomplie and submit sa Mississauga.

Parang ganito din pala yun sakin, when I got a letter from Canadian Embassy, passport request na lang pala ata yun and I was asked lang for additional communication proof between me and hubby.

Dun ka sa outside of Canada sis nagfafall under.

naconfused ako sa outside and inside canada na sinasabi... i thought if inside canada (which is si hubby) dun sa alberta na address isesend.

^naku sis, I can not remember if may pinanotaryo ako. Parang wala ata.

Chats and emails are fine in tagalog. Ang importante is quantity. And proof that all the info that you put in the application form is correct. That is what I think. You can't say you have been communicating since 2011 pero you can only produce communication stating January 2015 diba. Communication, pictures, etc are all evidences of the relationship and that is what you want to prove. Pero don't worry, wala pa naman akong kilala na nadeny.

Ok lang naman if maiden name and id's Carrying the husband' surname is not naman a must. It is by choice. Basta makapagproduce ka ng Marriage Certificate and Certificate of Non Marriage eh ok na yun.

Ok lang, ganyan talaga. Maganda, maitama mo na the 1st time. Ako kasi hiningan pa ako ulit ng additional emails noon eh.

Masyado matagal ang 3 yrs for spousal sponsorship.

Ganyan din kami, citizen na si hubby nun sponsor nya ako. Yun sa akin, more or less 4 months lang. Feb 2008 ako kinasal, May 2008 ko na completo at pass yun application at medical. By June or early July 2008 may response na ang CIC. Visa granted Sept 28, 2008. Pero di ako pumunta ng Canada til Jan 15, 2009. hehe pinalipas ko muna ang pasko sa Pinas kasi alam ko matatagalan pa ako bago makauwi.

Tip sis, download the application at checklist. Para malaman mo mga docs at info na kailangan. Kahit di mo muna i-fill up agad, at least ma familiarize ka sa mga requirements. And read the Guide thoroughly, so you'll be able to fill out the form correctly.

Like what sis sarsingkit said, it's better if you get it right on the first try. Nagkakadelay lang pag may kulang sa application mo o kailangan nila ng additional info.

@shadow angel, noong mga panahon na yun mabilis ang processing time ng spousal sponsorship, usually within 6 months. Basta correct at complete lang ang application package mabilis ang pag process.

@fornarina, yung visa expiration ko May 2009. So mga 8 months din. Di ako sigurado kung bat ganoon kasi parang butal diba? Di sya 6 months or 1 yr. So I assumed that it was based on when I took my medical(may 2008).
