Canada Family Class Visa: Timelines and Stories

Hi Sisses! i've been looking for this specific topic pero mostly generic Canada yung meron, so i just want to start a thread regarding this.

may mga sisses ba dito na waiting or magstart pa lang magprocess for Canada Family Sponsorship or kahit yung mga nakapunta na ng Canda through this process. Hubby and i got married last September and start na namin ang process next year for my visa. sana sandali lang 

share naman kayo ng stories and feelings nyo

I haven't tried per yung SIL at BIL were already there last July...Though I don't know exactly how their application went..
I heard na nagstart silang mag-apply two years ago,and may nag-sponsor sa kanila...they had the medical exam Jan of this year and March their PR visa had been approved so fly sila ng July...

Anyway, ako din po ay interested to migrate sa Manitoba under MPNP. Last Saturday, I availed the free consultation sa isang immigration consultant sa Ortigas.

Haay, di ko lang alam kung papano paghahandaan ito financially.

ito rin sana ang gusto ko. i am wanting na kami with my husband and son will be together. how long does it take ba? i checked out CIC, took the eligibility test, pumasa naman kami ng hubby sa immigration under federal skilled worker (FSW) program. with this i am not familiar. any inputs on the process on this?

^sis Roxykarlo! for Family Class - Spousal/Common Law Partner, it will take 8months as per the CIC website. you just have to submit proof of relationship and lahat naman ng forms nasa CIC website. then may fee din na babayaran yung sponsor. Sponsor have to be either a Permananent Resident or Canadian Citizen. other applicants undergo interview while some dont.

yung passport ko na nasa CEM na last May 17 tapos hanggang ngayon wala pa rin balita =( nakakainip.

Sis, the sponsor should really be a relative or di naman? Eto rin plan namin ni hubby. Di lang namin alam where to start. This would be a helpful thread for us starters.

^^naku sis, common practice na ang hindi pagfollow up sa embassy kasi belief na naiirita daw ang visa officers.  and hindi pa naman lagpas sa 8 months kami and may mga iba 2011 pa nagsubmit ng application pero until now wala pa ring visa.

^for FAMILY sponsorship, dapat spouse or common law partner. for provicial nominee, im not sure kung pwedeng hindi relative. in my husband's case kasi, tito nya yung sponsor nila buong family as provincial nominee sa Manitoba (MIL, [textspeak!], hubby, BIL and SIL). sabay sabay sila umalis.

been thinking about this pero need talaga ng malaking money for provincial nominee eh...
my BIL showed atleast 700k yata not so sure though pero around that amount

when my sister applied under the manitoba provincial nominee nung 2006, yung show money was like 400k - 500k for single. ang ginawa pa ng aunt ko na nag-sponsor sa kanya was nangutang sa isang bank sa winnipeg under my sister's name c/o my aunt para sa half nung pera (half sa amin). then yun ang ginamit nila. after nya dumating sa winnipeg, isinoli na sa bank yung pera, interest lang binayaran. kaso hinde na yata pwede yung ganun ngayon.

Ang SIL ko kase is nag-retire after 15 yrs nya sa bank so the whole money she got eh pinang show money nya plus tinulungan din sila nung agency...

my MIL and [textspeak!] din, nagretire na so yun yung pera nila plus they have assets na sabi nila ibebenta nila once ma-aapprove yung visa. then yung brother ni [textspeak!] ang sponsor so nagvouch sya na sa kanya titira sina hubby once magland na sila sa canada.

kaya kami ni hubby though we have several kamag-anak in Canada eh di kaya ang maging immigrants wala pa kase kaming ganung kalaking pera hehe!

ano na nga pala ngyari dun sa kumontak sayo? legal daw ba sila?

ah yes sis,legal sila...but then I turn down the firt offer kase masyadong nagmamadali ang employer,eh wala pa akong cash and di pa talaga ako handa and all that(documents,process etc.)

The good thing is meron daw sialng mga openings pa in three months times (maybe same employer din)and they said na kukunin daw nila ako...hope it's true!kaya eto handa-handa...

ako puro nasa ontario relatives ko.. the bad part when subtlely mentioned im interested to go to canada.. hay like what i shared sa other canda thread..

ang sinagot sa akin simulan ko na daw mag enroll sa care giving class!! tapos yung bro ng dad ko twice ako nag email.. dedma kaya sabi ko sa sarili ko i will not ask help from them na..

kaya via student ang naiisip ko fastest kaya inuuna ko na accomplish ielts exam ko tska ako ask help sa lola ko para financial aspect...

ibang docs dahan dahan kinukuha ko na like school records..

buti pa mom ng bestfriend ko nung college excited na pumunta ko dun inoffer pa nila dun ako mag rent sa bahay nila..
