^ sis why not generic theme na lang like candy land, rainbow, under the sea. para pwede pa rin. in my case, naisip ko rainbow theme na lang para magamit pa rin amenities na kailangan kong bilhin from them -- gagawin ko na lang prizes ng bata ang barney and pag medyo malaki na na boys, JL, for big girls naman, nagpagawa ako ng mga necklace na rainbows.

Yung buffet naman naka set-up sa labas ng party room at may 3 staff naga-assist/serve ng food sa guests.  I guess dahil punong-puno yung party area sa loob.  Nung paalis na kami mag-start na yata yung program (clowns) so sa parang stage area masikip ng tingnan (parang medyo magulo tingnan).  I think their party area would best serve parties not exceeding 80 pax.

I agree sis, even though they keep on insisting na 100 pax sya, sa tingin mo palang malalaman mo naman eh, possible siguro talga magkasya 100 dun if it's not a party, yung tipong uupo at kakain lang mga bisita mo.. and yeah not so nice lang na nasa labas ang buffet diba? then may mga dine in costumers pa nun.. mejo magulo lang talga tignan....
kaya ako, I did not take the risk anymore, kahit di ko makuha ng buo yung refund ko, kesa naman sa party pa ko mapahiya

^oo sis, nung pumunta kami (around 3:30-4pm) may mga dine-in customers tapos dadaaanan yung buffet sa labas pag pumupunta sila sa funzone.

Joining... we just had my youngest cousin's 1st birthday party at Shakey's Walter Mart in Pampanga last Jan 22. Since were just allowed with either JL or Barney theme, we opted to choose Barney and just incorporated the Safari theme. Food was MMD (served buffet style),  and got the giant pizza as freebie since we booked 100 pax  We were also allowed to bring our own host (got the Bubble Package of BnF) and our DIY Candy Buffet. Galing akong branch kanina magpapadagdag sana ako choco fountain sa supplier nila but was informed na they dont allow choco fountain na rin kahit from supplier. Kuha na lang daw ako icecream cup from the menu. Hayyy wag na nga!

Yung photobooth naman nila 6,500 ang mahal! Kaya di na rin!

Bawi na lang ako sa balloons!

saang branch kaya kayang iaccommodate at least 150 guests? is there a branch within The Fort kaya? about 80% of our guests will be coming from this area kasi. there is one inside MarketMarket pero mukhang maliit.

^I work at BGC The Fort pero parang wala pa ko nakikitang Shakey's dito. I'm not sure sa Market market since I dont frequent that mall pero kung meron man, I'm sure masikip sa 150 guests yan since limited ang space sa mall.

@lableemom: sis I work also here @ BCG, the only Shakey's here is the one in Market2x. Though it does have a party room am not just sure about it's capacity, rough estimate would be 80-100 pax. There's another one in Shell C5 and then the one in Newport na. Hope that helps

i'm just wondering if anybody here celebrated their child's b-day or someone who knows someone who celebrated a child's b-day in shakey's e.rod, the one near st.luke's?

i inquired two weeks ago and they have a supplier daw for clowns, magicians, etc.. kaya lang when i read the feedbacks regarding their supplier, medyo madaming bad feedback so i was thinking of getting BnF instead.. i read somewhere na a certain shakey's branch allowed them to have BnF but with a corkage fee, is it the same kaya with the e.rod branch?

i'm having a hard time calling their tel.no. kasi e.. thanks!

^my husbands nephew celebrated his birthday @ Shakeys e. rod she got the clowns and face painting parehong hindi maganda. kuha ka nalang sa ibang suppliers.

@lablee, the 1 @ shell-c5 can't seat 150pax. Mga 60 pax masikip na. Yung sa newport (though d mo naman ito option) mahirap nga kapag umuulan kasi mababasa bisita from parking papuntang shakeys.

Medyo malaki naman sa market2x plus halos katapat ang timezone kaya icheck mo na rin baka pumasa syo

Naku I'm having problems with Shakey's Tomas Morato. Okay na sana, payag sila na hindi JL/Barney yung theme, I won't avail of the amenities, and magpapasok ako ng balloon decorator and cake. Kaya lang they won't allow me to bring in a different photographer. I want to book Shutter Count sana dahil nagandahan ako sa pictures nila, pero bawal daw sabi nung kausap ko sa phone. DI rin pwede kahit willing magbayad ng corkage. Sabi sa akin lahat daw ng branch ganun, and okay naman daw yung supplier nila. I can give feedback daw kung hindi okay ang kinalabasan, pero siyempre that means I will risk not having nice pictures of my baby's birthday. I might drop by tomorrow para makiusap, and maybe show them bad feedback on Moviescape from different forums. I'm not the type to make a fuss, pero nakakapanghinayang naman kung hindi ok yung first birthday ni baby.

Does anyone have experience dealing with the Shakeys Morato people? Baka may tips kayo para mapa-payag ko sila.

^sis, according sa Shakey's Q. Ave cor WEst Ave, ok lang sa kanila na ibang photog, kapag may video naman at gagamitin electricity, kelangan daw magbayad ng corkage, 500 per gadget.

LADIT - Naku, if Shakey's wants you to get their in-house p/v, wag ka pumayag at least for the photos. Sabihin mo friend mo na lang magttake ng pics. When my daughter had her 1st birthday sa Shakeys El Pueblo, I got their in-house p/v supplier for video lang. Mura lang pero so-so lang din. Ok lang naman kase gusto ko lang na may video footage pero mas important ang pics saken. Anyway, yung photos ng Moviescape (that's their in-house supplier), hinde talaga maganda.

Naku may mga nakita nga akong pic online and hindi talaga ok ang pics. I can take better pictures and I'm not even a photography enthusiast. Haven't had time to go there yet, but I've printed feedback and some sample photos from Moviescape to drive the point.
