Shakeys birthday party...

this saturday na party ng baby ko sa sm north. medyo maraming restrictions pero hindi naman big deal sa min dahil simple lang naman talaga plano namin na party. 2 hours lang daw talaga max at hindi pwede mag-extend kahit willing to pay for additional hour. happy na rin ako kasi medyo madali kausap yung naghahandle ng parties. they allowed outside suppliers for cake (Les Sucreries), balloon decor (mr balloonatix), photobooth (my party pix), photo/video (child lounge), ice cream (nestle cart). sana hindi magkaron ng issue sa mismong day ng party. i have to check pa tom kung pano makakapasok mga suppliers like photobooth at ice cream sa mall. sana mabilis lang at wala na ibang kelangan.

sis, ikaw pala yung event sa afternoon.. shakeys sm north din birthday bebe ko.. sobrang aga nga kasi 11 am kami.. ask ko lang if kumuha ka pa ba ceiling decors kay mr. balloonatix? ako kasi hindi na kasi sabi ni vice magiging crowded na raw tignan ang ceiling kasi may set up na sila ceiling decors.

i want my baby's first bday din dito since d masyado pricey. I want the Q. Ave branch since most of my visitors are coming from marikina, makati, west fairview, novaliches and manila. gitna na lang para marami umattend.

sis Leuwey, hindi na ko kumuha ng ceiling decors. sabi ni jojo hindi raw kaya ng 30 mins yung pagset-up eh kaya table centerpieces, cake arch at balloon burst lang kinuha ko. meron ka bang outside suppliers sis?

^^ sis i forgot to include yung amenities (invitations, hats, prizes, host) 3,900 yata. Sorry nakalimutan ko! not sure if they will require you to get from them. i think sa ibang branch ok lang kahit hindi.

Sis chinggay, arcade pala! Talagang inisip ko pa tawag dun ah. Eheehe ako nga nagpplano magtanong sa ibang branch eh.. Pero keri na din siguro dun.. About dun sa free giant pizza baka kaya di inalok sayo kasi walang tokens na ipurchase. Sabi nung nakausap ko, kapag contract signing saka nila sinasabi na baka gusto moag avail ng 200 tokens then free giant pizza. Nadulas lang sya kaya naexplain na din nya sakin.. Tinanong ko nga kung hanggang kelan promo na yun, hindi daw yun promo, kapag may mga events sinasabi daw nila yun. Nasa 3k plus worth [textspeak!] pizza, tokens naman 2k lang kaya makakasave ka talaga.

just talked to another manager from my branch kasi marami akong itatanong:

pwede magdala ng pinata/ pabitin? - ok
pwede magdala ng sariling cake? - pwede pero di pwedeng iserve- for candle blowing lang daw (balak ko cup cake tower na lang, tapos small cake)
pwede magdala ng icecream cart? - no, kasi meron silang tindang icecream cups. in-offer nila yung chocolate fountain ng supplier nila which is 3,500 (pag-isipan ko muna) - tingin niyo sulit? wala kasing dessert if ever

yung balloon twist artist and face painting ipupuslit ko na lang.

Sis eto ba yung katapat ng Ynares Center?  We went there kasi last sunday, i think kakasya ang 100pax dun at maluwag pa.  Their seating capacity is 130pax (binilang ko hehe).  The owner of that branch is also the owner of El Pueblo branch, which sabi ng manager na nakausap ko party store daw talaga nila yung El Pueblo.  Pero last year kasi dun na nagparty anak ko..

^^ sis, yan ba yung malapit sa puregold? twice akong naka attend ng party dun at dun din namin ginawa ang reception ng binyag ng baby ko. sbai ng anila na kasya daw ang 100 dun sa loob ng function room. pero sa tingin ko nga ay masikip. yung 1 party namin dun, may mga nakaupo na sa labas. siguro nasa hundred yung guest nila. yung binyag ng baby ko hindi dumating ang ibang guest kaya mukhang maluwag sa loob. pero enjoy ang kids kasi may fun zone sila.

ok kausap dun sa izza, siya na din kasi nag order ng cake ko sa Iko's eh. smooth transaction talaga. sinabi ko lang sa kanya ang gusto kong design tapos magka text kami bago ang event ko. ok naman. ganda ng cake at may free pang 1 dozen ng cupcakes.

@ sis suzyalex, mas maluwag pa pala sila sa umaga sis.. 11 am kasi start namin pero they allowed us to set up at 10am kc bukas na raw sila nun.. pillars, balloon burst and cake arch naman kinuha namin kay jojo.. aside from jojo, si miss punky kinuha ko sa cake and may photobooth din ako.. yung clowns lang hindi nila pinayagan na kunin ko outside..

^allowed naman yata. our party's next month pa. yung bill namin sa food not more than 10k, sis. hindi strict yung branch about the amount of food that we'll order pero gusto nila avail yung party amenities nila worth 4k. i read in another forum na may nag-avail dun ng food lang. depends on the branch talaga kasi sa iba may minimum amount sa food tapos may restrictions sa suppliers. sa iba naman lenient lalo na if magaling ka makipagbolahan sa party coordinator. 

^^how old na baby mo, sis? pag-isipan mo muna. may konting regret kami about our party. when we booked shakey's, hindi pa kilala ng baby namin si jollibee. after a few months, nagulat kami tinuturo niya sa road yung signs and jollibee branches na nadaanan namin tapos sinasabi niya, 'jo!'. too late na to cancel kasi pati suppliers na inform na namin about the venue and we paid the amenities na. akala ko kasi hindi niya trip si jollibee.

@VShe- nope sis that's kapitolyo branch, mas malaki talga sya kesa sa shaw branch which is near puregold nga, dun ko din talga gusto kase malaki kaya lang ayaw ni bagets kase walng funzone and malayo na masyado for my guests from Sta Mesa...

@momai-yes sis, jan nga! kaya nga eh, mukang maliit sya, kaya lang jan [textspeak!] malapit eh, yeah si izza kausap ko nung una super bait nia talga kaya lang when I was about to book na, wala sya so iba nakausap ko and ang dame na bawal and arte kaya naasar ako, but had no choice kase nakapag bayad nako... sana nga si izza nalang nag-handle sa party ko kaloka! [textspeak!] party ba na napuntahan mo buffet style ba?

Sis, ano yung mas maluwag? El pueblo branch or yung kapitolyo(in front of ynares)?

^ i think mas maluwag yung sa Kapitolyo sis (near Ynares). 
Sa El Pueblo we had around 80 guests may vacant seats pa rin naman :-)
Btw, the franchisee of both stores ay iisa lang so in terms of policies siguro same lang din sila.
Pero sa experience ko mas okay kausap yung mga staff sa El Pueblo

@ sis Sashae, hindi buffet ang napuntahang kong party eh. talaga madami ng bawal? baka naman pwede request mo na si izza na lang ang kausap mo dun. sobrang bait talaga nun, lagi pang nakatawa. before ng event namin, magkatext talaga kami. medyo di lang nasunod ang color ng balloons pero ok na din.
