Its 1st day of June and the countdown begins..waiting for our interview date..we are all excited at the same time nervous,but as i read again the story/interview experience of Cardilene and his teens it gives me a boost that everything will be alright..God bless everyone!:)
To feel nervous is quite normal, actually, the night before the interview ay hindi ako pinatulog talaga,
but during the interview process, we're just a bit lucky to have a very friendly screener, first few questions pa lang ay nawala na ang kaba ko, my advice, just calm yourself, compose, and answer their questions the best that you can, if in case you have no answer, nor you don't know the answer, just be firm with your answer, always be polite and courteous to all the persons that you'll meet inside...
But the most important thing, PRAY,.. It has gotten me through everything with prayers,..
The screener would always jot down notes taken from your answers, also, be sure to arrange and organize your documents, para pag hinanap syo, madali mong maiaabot sa kanila, make lots of copies, just in case,...
After the interview, when all is over and done, and you here those magic words from the consul, its like a huge burden has been lifted off your back, up to now, everything is still fresh in our memories, anyway, its part of everyone's journey, I don't want to spoil the fun for you,..

If you intend to drive in here in the US, be sure that you already know how to drive there sa atin, it is better to learn the basics dito sa atin, getting the driver's license here in the US is not that easy,
Thank God I passed them already,..
Tips:
1. Memorize by heart the DMV manual
2. Practice driving around the area where you intend to stay here to get familiarized with the laws and street signs,..
3. Be sure that the car is in TIPTOP condition...
Culture shock sa akin ang driving dito sa US, coz we live in Cabanatuan City, and seldom go to Manila, kung magpunta man kami ay may family driver kami, kaya I was shocked on how FAST their lifestyle here, the most common speed limit here is 40mph that's around 64kmh dyan sa atin,
which is quite fast na,... But wait till you get to the freeway, maximum speed limit is at 65mph, that's over 104kmh, but that will all depend on the flow of traffic, you can go up to 70 or 75mph.
Here you can get flagged down for going too fast, or even going to slow... Dyan ako na-shock,
but now, after a few weeks of driving around California, you'll get used to it...
Another thing,.. GPS is a must, lalo sa mga taong mahinang tumanda ng lugar like me, thanks to my wife's GPS kung saan saan na kami nakarating, I love this gadget...
