how much did you spend on house construction? (Thread 2)

Kakatapos lang namin magpagawa ng bakod sa bahay namin 81sqm inabot ng halos 120k nilagyan nadin kasi nila ng abang pangsecond floor at nilakihan yung mga bakal para mas matibay. Plano sana namin ipasecond floor na kaya lang dipa daw pwede major renovation sabi nung ceveloper after 18 months pa. Ayun na muna pinagiipunan ko ngayon para tuloy tuloy na paggawa. Good thing father ko dating construction worker kaya alam na niya mga gagawin tapos may mga kakilala nadin siyang labor. Sana makamura kami.

Question lang, kasi ngayon first floor lang talaga yung unit na nabili namin tapos balak namin ipasecond floor may tax pa ba kaming babayaran nun? 5k yung monthly na babayaran namin for 30 years ibig sabihin pag nagpasecond floor ba kami madadagdagan yun? Please enlighten me. TIA!

8 years ago,  my late parents built their house in Filinvest QC for 2mil.  it has 3 bedrooms, a maid's room, 3 bathrooms,  basement (1 br and 1 bath nasa basement).  funds came from us daughters here.   the lot was purchased separately for 1.5mil, that's what they told us.

currently building our own home and thank God pintura na lang tinatapos nila..according to hubby nasa more than 6M na nagastos for the house construction alone..we dont know the exact amount yet as all the receipts/expenses are being forwarded to my MIL's office who does all the accounting works, basta deduct na lang nila sa account ni hubby, but as per the latest computation, nasa more than 6M na nga daw..the house has 5 bedrooms (including maid's room) and 4 bathrooms..the lot naman costs almost 2M, totaL of 272 sqm, half of it was purchased years ago pa..

omg Reading the costs from 2014 e mahal  na what more now

we're planning na rin ipagawa yung house extension. about 90sqm yung extension area na 2 stories. sa baba will be maids room, kitchen and a common cr and second floor will be laundry room, extension ng masters bedroom and walk in closet.

last estimate sa amin 2014 was 500k. wonder how much it will cost na now

Ours was design Build, floor area is 150sqm, 2 storey house (3 bed, 1 maids room, 2 bath, etc), elegant finish including modular kitchen and room cabinets, walkin closet, bakod not included. package is 3.3M a yr ago, now their new price is 3.8M for the same package. lot was purchased separately for 1M.

Sis, is Design Build the name of the Contractor?

We're planning to buy a vacant lot in Bulacan (Colinas Verdes - Sta. Lucia Realty) also 150 sqm lot area, around 1.5m if cash, much higher if ipapasok sa housing loan. So sa tancha ko nasa 4-5m yung gusto naming design (3 floors w/ rooftop) kasama na design and papers, that is IF makapagpatayo agad! Wew, money where art thou!?
